Lauren I am so glad to hear that your back is better. Do you think those back muscles needed strengthening? Did they find something specifically wrong with your back?

Dterminedone Congrats on the 7.7 pounds!

Still I'm sure some of the 2 pounds is water weight. Have you ever tried thedailyplate.com?

Pint It's good to see you check in. It sounds like you had a nice weekend!

Mamakat Congrats on that pound! I hope it sticks and takes another one with it.

Larry Great job on your meals today!

Darn! Just getting ready to work out and my heart rate monitor is out of juice. I forgot to charge it last night! Wah! Guess it means I'll go deal with the bread I'm making while it charges and workout even later. Good thing I had that long nap today! I won't be in bed until about midnight.

OFF Plan today, maybe I can get myself in gear after 3pm today. I never start anything tomorrow, Monday, or New Year’s! I started at 3pm this afternoon. Hopefully I can stay OP for a few days. I have 3 birthday’s this month, with 2 being this week!!! DH is turning the BIG 4-0, just what I need—birthday cake!

MN-7a: Turkey on Wheat, Baked Lays, Cottage Cheese, sf Jello 405
7a-Noon: Chick Fila Cinnamon Cluster 430
Noon-3p: Honey Bunches of Oats, Almond Milk 220
3p-7p:--
7p-MN: SBD Taco Bake, SBD Cheesy Cauliflower 484
TOTAL: 1539

48 oz h20--pitiful!!

TOM is wreaking havoc on my life! I feel blah, unmotivated, and so off plan.
Please go away and take ALL your symptoms when you go!!!

I had a total of 3.6 pounds lost for the month. Glad it wasn't a gain, but GEEZ! Disappointed

Would believe that I forgot to press start on the heart rate monitor when I stopped in the middle to punch down and shape the bread I'm baking? After waiting for it to charge so I could record this workout? Argh!!! Well, what I do know is that this workout used to get my heart rate around 150-160 and I felt like I was giving it my all. Now it keeps it around 135-145 and it feels like a good work out, just not a killer workout. I've only done it twice, but will keep doing it. Love this one. Reebok step. The video.

Bread is now baking and when it is done I might go attack my husband if he's still awake. ;-)

aggie2006 ,

Yes I slip. I try hard not to slip and when I do I try hard to limit how much I slipped. I will detail below. In January no slips, February 3 slips, March 2 slips, April 2 slips and May no slips. My daily plan is 1500 calories.

Feb 6th 1810 calories 310 over
Feb 7th 1528 calories 28 over
Feb 21st 1517 calories 17 over
Mar 28th 1527 calories 27 over
Mar 30th 1615 calories 115 over
April 8th 1573 calories 73 over
April 27th 1528 calories 28 over

I have struggled a lot more with being out of plan due to low daily calories as outlined below. I finally got a grasp on it in May and had no low days and no high days. Being human a perfect month is unlikely to happen again but I intend to be as close as possible.

January was OK - no days were too low or too high
Feb 17th 817 calories 683 low
Feb 18th 907 calories 593 low
Feb 23rd 965 calories 535 low
Mar 15th 890 calories 610 low
Mar 21st 997 calories 503 low
Mar 25th 931 calories 569 low
Mar 31st 988 calories 512 low
Apr 1st 550 calories 950 low
Apr 2nd 941 calories 559 low
Apr 3rd 726 calories 774 low
Apr 9th 842 calories 658 low
Apr 24th 974 calories 526 low
May was OK - no days were too low or too high

As you see I am having difficulties at times. Getting my food intake on plan consistantly has proved to be a lot like trying to herd a couple hundred cats and get them all going in the same direction.

Good Morning, Everyone! I hope you have a fantastic day!

Weigh In: 146.4
Down: .8

I must have been holding onto some water weight.

Berry Congrats on that whoosh!

Good morning! I waited until this morning to calculate my May loss, since I really felt watered down yesterday and to the best of my calculations (due to computer crashing), I lost 8 pounds in May. A great month for me since I have been slowing waaaaaaaay down with the weight loss, but secretly I was hoping for more since I ran my a$$ off this month. But when I figured the calories I burned each run, it comes out to burning about a pound a week, so without running, I may have only lost 4 pounds this month. I am happy with 8. Now to focus on June.
Wish me luck, I have to go to the track banquet tonight which is a dessert potluck, Luckily, I don't have much of a sweet tooth unless I am craving chocolate. I just have to make sure I eat dinner before we go, which will probably be a challenge.

Diana, I ran 90 miles in May, not lost 90 pounds I think you knew that, but just posted the wrong thing.

Berry, congrats on your whoosh! Wish I could join you, but I have a feeling I am stuck now until TOM, whaaaa.

I am wondering about Stacy now, it's not like her to not check in for so long. And DianaLa usually checks in after her weigh in, course, maybe there was no weigh in due to the holiday.

Larry, great job with the out to eat choices!

CatholicCajun,

K9, you can do this!

Aggie, Mamakat, Pint, Still, Lauren, DTermined, and everyone else, Hello!

Thanks! This took me past 50 pounds lost which is now officially the most I've ever lost before. Though, last time, I wasn't as heavy ( stopped at 185 last time).

And Stacy is on vacation which is probably why she's not checking in. But I am worried about DianaLA.

I broke past the 50 pounds lost today. I am so stinking excited! I am so close to onederland now I can taste it! In this past month I lost 13.4 pounds and lost an inch off my chest, waist and hips and 1.5 off my thighs (nothing off my arms).

I was going to make the rest of the brats for supper tonight. Now I'm thinking MAYBE NOT! I don't want to add sodium weight just as I got to under 50 pounds lost! I want it to stick! That 50 pounds lost is kind of a huge milestone for me since it's the weight lost when I started to fall apart 13 years ago. Though that might have more to do with the 185 pounds than the 50 pounds lost. I'll be nervous about that weight for no good reason too. (Notice I just KNOW I'll get there!)

My goal for this month is the same as always - exercising 6 days a week and losing 8 pounds.

OK, off for the day. SOOOOOOO happy!

Tuesday 5/31

Breakfast:
2 slices bacon, 1/2 scrambled egg (Hosptial Cafeteria food, I couldn't eat all of them despite me trying) 180 calories
Lunch: Chicken Fajita Quesadilla 1/4 of it. Shared it with my daughter A whole one would have been 250 calories so I'm guessing that since I only ate a wedge it would have been 60ish calories but I'll add 40 since I'm skeptical.
Dinner: Indulgence...Chick Fila 6 piece Nugget Kids meal (small waffle fries and a lemonade) 620 calories according to Chick-fila's website
Dessert: Popsicle 80
Water: 120 ounces
Excercise: None

My food choices weren't the greatest yesterday and I hadn't excercised. I may have stayed within calorie range but slightly over or just under. I did get my water in though so I'm pleased with that.

Today will be very busy also, since I'm leaving in the wee hours of the morning for our road trip. Hoping to fit in at least 30 minutes of walking or something today.
