Jomatho Thank you!

The train ride was great! Something happened that I would call just short of amazing. I tend to be a talkative person. I contribute this to being in business and having to talk to customers while they are waiting, etc. DH is talkative/sociable around people we know. He is not as much so with strangers. I didn't know we were going to be seated with another couple. I could sense DH's apprehension when we were seated at a table with 4 chairs. We hit it off perfectly with the other couple! We had so much in common. In fact, they have come to Charleston quite a few times for vacation. I just had this feeling that if we lived in the same town we would become very close friends. DH even agreed with my thoughts on this. We had a wonderful afternoon together.

Blah, up .4 today. I don't usually see gains in the second half of my cycle, so this has me a bit bummed. Could very well be the brats we had for supper last night. Doubt it was the salad! LOL TOnight is chicken, so should be better.

Glad to see people checking back in!

Good luck on your last run of the month Jomatho! You DID IT!!!!

Tuesday Morning Weigh in: 155, down a pound from last week. Total pounds lost 8 pounds since May 9. I'm feeling good. Still noticing inches moving. Especially yesterday when I threw on some short shorts. Thighs slowly starting not to touch,

Challenge this week: Traveling (road trip) to Detroit from Atlanta this week. Going to be gone 5 days, living out of a suitcase and having to eat out while I'm there. Won't be able to do my p90x videos so I'm planning alternatives while I'm there. Probably walking will be my excercise.

Morning everyone!

I'm back from our trip and not too much worse for the wear, although I'm exhausted. I guess I took a diet break. I didn't have internet access so I didn't track a thing. I guess if I'd been truly dedicated, I could have written everything down and plugged it all in later, but I didn't do that. I wasn't overly careful about what I ate, but I didn't go nuts either. My weights the same as when I left, 204, so I guess I didn't do too bad, although TOM started a few days earlier, and I usually lose a couple lbs when it does, so that may be masking my bad eating.

It was a little too nice for comfort not to track. I almost forgot to start again yesterday (We got back Sunday night). But I remembered, just in time to track a really high calorie day because of poor planning at an unexpected cook-out. Oh well.

I realized just now that I've had sort of a pathetic month, down only 3.8 lbs. But down is down.

Berry Good Morning! It could be the Brats. They tend to be high in sodium.

Rachael Congrats on the pound loss!

zoodoo I would not consider a 3.8 pound loss pathetic at all. I think it's very good. It's almost a 1 pound loss per week. That is in line with what is recommended. So, great job!

Or it could be the end effect of eating more on Saturday (about 2500). Whatever it is, it will come off too. Just delaying the entrance to onederland a bit, but I don't regret Saturday. It was a great event and really 2500 is hardly a disaster and it was planned.

I started with fast walking or jogging this morning. My swiss watch with heart monitor says every facts about faster or slower walking. I like it really and I hope I will be fitter in a few weeks

Just popping back in to say "I did it!" I ran 90 miles in May as planned! Just barely! Now I have to think of a June goal. Hmmmmm.

So happy for you! Even when you got derailed a bit, you just upped the mileage per day! That is so fantastic!!!

Memorial Day was in within my plan of 1500 calories and 2000 mg sodium!!
My actual eating for the day was 1425 calories and 1918 mg sodium.

Lunch
Lean pork chop
Au Gratin potato
Yellow string beans from my garden

Afternoon snack
OIKOS strawberry Greek yogurt

Dinner
Jennie-o turkey burger
Wheat sandwhich bun
Weber's horseradish mustard
Oven baked homemade french fries (no oil or salt)
2 Mezzetta jalapeno stuffed olives

Late snack
1/2 cup rice with Giorgio no salt added mushrooms and a chopped Vidalia onion. Cooked together with seasonings (No salt)

My weight is steady at 235

I am sure glad everyone is coming back from the holiday. This thread was kind of meager in attendance this past holiday weekend. Reminded me of a ghost town!!

Thank goodness for the newcomers!!
