fashin - Your days are always so well rounded with all of the food groups. I'm so jealous!!

So I haven't stepped on the scale since last week and I'm kind of nervous what the number will be tomorrow. And I didn't do that well eating wise today because I have no food in my house and I am subsiding off of leftovers until tomorrow when I have time to grocery shop!

1/27/10 Confessions -
B - Coffee with creamer (50)
L - Larry's Veggie 8 in wheat sub with 1 oz swiss cheese, no sauce (415)
D - Pasta with veg. marinara and boca burger crumbles (500)

Total - 965 (low, I know)

Exercise - 7 min Booty boot camp workout, arm and back workout and short abs. All from fitnessmagazine.com.

Glitter, it's so funny that you mention that because last night I fell off the wagon (pretty hard, lol) and went to Braum's for dinner. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries and ate it all. Yikes, I know but today is a new day right? And I am right back on track with that fast food craving out of my system for a while (I hope). Your day looked pretty good food-wise too considering you need to go grocery shopping, I know that feeling! Let us know how your WI goes, I'm sure you'll do great.

Diana, it's always nice to hear that reinforcement that we are doing the right thing! And the name of your breakfast (Diana McMuffin) made me laugh out loud. It sounds yummy I think I need to try it!

Well weather here is bad, bad, bad. We are getting part of that winter storm from California, and they are saying ice all today and tomorrow and not if the power goes out, but when it goes out, we should be prepared for at least 3 days! Yikes, it makes me a littlle nervous not for myself but for my son. We are living with my mom right now while our house is being built and his room has hardly any insulation. It gets really cold in there so we have a little space heater for him but without power... Hopefully it won't be as bad as they are thinking... Anyway, here is what my today is going to look like:

1/28/2010 Confessions:

Breakfast
2 blueberry nutrigrain waffles
1 tbsp light veggie oil spread
1 tbsp syrup
1 cup 1% milk

Snack AM
small cup coffee w/ 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar

Lunch
1 turkey patty
1 whole wheat extra fiber english muffin
2 tbsp hummus
1 serving baked chips
H2O

Dinner (what i was supposed to eat last night)
2 pieces 4 oz grilled salmon
3/4 cup brown rice
roasted asparagus
1/2 Dr Pepper

= apprx 1,600 calories

Exercise: (also what I was supposed to do last night) Day 6 EA Sports Active Wii 30 Day Challenge

I typically get this done in the mornings but work was so busy today. Better late than never, yes?

Thursday, January 28, 2010

B Kashi GoLean Honey Almond Flax with 2%milk, small coffee
L Turkey/swiss sandwich again today on WW with lettuce and tomato
S Fuji apple and 2oz of sliced honey roasted turkey breast
D Dinner at my parents today: grilled salmon, white rice and avocado/tomato salad
S Slice of cassava cake (popular Filipino dessert - homemade and it was so hard to pass up), not sure the calorie amount on this. I searched it on TDP and it came up with two results - one at 407 cals and the other at 257. I selected the higher amount just to be safe.

Total calories for today: 1467 (I'm very happy about this considering I went off plan for the dessert. Gotta treat yourself every now and then, right?)

I'm in phase 1 of the curves low carb diet. Today was rough, my husband and I sat around forever at the doctors and it put me late on a meal (when I shouldn't have been) and I ran out of water to drink in my Nalgene! I planned ahead and packed some vegetables in a small box for eating after we got out.

Water:
88 ounces

Breakfast:
2 sausage links
2 eggs
Flintstone chewable complete
1,000 iu Vit D

Snack after doctors:
snow peas, broccoli, cauliflower, celery

Meal 2
Cottage Cheese
Celery (This item was supposed to be baby carrots but due to recent dental work, I can't eat raw carrots easily just yet)

Meal 3
Tuna in water, 2.8 ounce
Free Salad (spinach, romaine)

Meal 4
2oz Havarti Cheese

Meal 5 (dinner)
Chicken Fajitas, recipe from the book, it tastes great!

Meal 6 I will have here shortly
protein shake w/ benefiber added in (first time to add it in, I find on DailyPlate that I am getting very little fiber in comparison to what I was getting while on calorie counting before)

Exercise:
Biked for 20 minutes
