Here's mine for today:

Lunch
2 (boiled) hot dogs with light ketchu and mustard
Water

Snack
2 boiled eggs
palm serving of cherry tomatoes
Water

Supper
Ham 12inch sub w/ whole wheat bread, veggies, and some light mayo
Monster energy drink (I know, I know.. I still didn't kick the caffeine addiction. But I drank a lot less this week than before -baby steps!)

Snack
Not sure yet as I am still at work, but I have 400 cals left to eat. I might just have two slices of whole grain toast. We're running out of groceries, lol.

Thanks Diana I tried to quit cold turkey, and I got withdrwl symptoms all night at work (pounding headache, nausea, dizziness, inability to concentrate). I felt terrible. I've resorted to just ingesting less caffeine a day.

Diana, I was reading your post and totally have to check out Applebees. We have a gift card to use there too. I am so glad more restaurants are starting to do the lighter menus. I am not sure if anyone has a Mimi's Cafe near them, but we went there a few weeks ago and they have a similar menu like Applebees. I had the salmon with asparagus, and it was great! Roughly 500 calories. Here is the link: http://www.mimiscafe.com/MenuDinner.aspx

My week has been good with the workouts. Still doing Bikram thru tomorrow. I have done 10 classes in 14 days and dropped the 10 lbs I put on over Christmas. But last night I was not so good with the food Went down in a blaze of glory with some cheese enchiladas, chips, guacamole, & beans & rice. I have not had Mexican food or pizza in over 3 weeks. They are truly my nemesis. I can't eat just a little of either. I am set to weigh again on Tuesday. I will try to get back on track thru then, and get back to the salads. The yoga has truly made me want to eat clean. So that is a good thing.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi ladies, can't believe the weekend is already almost over, hope it's been good one so far!

Diana, that's right tomorrow is another day!

I am up a little bit since my last weigh-in so I'm hoping I have at least a little bit of a loss for my official weigh-in tomorrow... Anyway here is what today is gonna look like:

1/24/2010 Confessions:

Breakfast
1/4 cup egg beaters
2 turkey sausage links
1 piece whole wheat toast w/ 1/2 tbsp veggie oil spread
1 cup orange juice
1 small cup coffee w/ 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar

Lunch (Taco Bell)
1 fresco grilled steak soft taco
1 fresco ranchero grilled chicken soft taco
1/2 cup Dr Pepper

Dinner
1 1/2 lean ground beef hamburgers on a whole wheat bun w/ light cheese, light mayo, mustard, onion, and lettuce
1 oz raw broccoli
3 tbsp light ranch dip
1 grilled cheese hot dog
1/2 cup blackberry cobbler w/ 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
1 Dr Pepper

Hey everyone! I turned my car on this morning to head off to work and "Manic Monday" was playing on the radio. How perfect. My weekend was 50/50. I did great all day on Saturday until after dinner when I went out with friends. I consumed entirely too much alcohol. And when I woke up on Sunday, all I wanted to do was eat. So, I ate a really unhealthy breakfast. For the rest of the day, though, I did eat healthier. I was really proud of myself for getting back on plan so quickly. And on to another day.

Monday, January 25, 2010

B Kashi GoLean Honey Almond Flax with 2%milk, small coffee
S Fresh raspberries with light vanilla yogurt
L Healthy Choice Select Entree: Chicken Alfredo Florentine (220 cals)
S WW pita bread with hummus
D White rice, grilled chicken and steamed veggies

Water 3L
Exericeise 45mins cardio, 15mins resistance training

Good Monday morning everyone!

Katy, good for you for getting back on track so quickly!

By some miracle, I managed to have a loss at my official WI this morning. Down from last week's 166.8 to 165.9. I'm wondering, though why I have not had a loss on the scale all week (actually had a gain for most of it) and then the one night I go off plan and eat pretty much whatever I want for dinner, I lose?? Am I not eating enough calories (I average about 1,550 calories/week)? Because TOM is still here and going strong... I haven't worked out in a couple days since the weekend is my rest days, so maybe my muscles have had a chance to "repair" and aren't holding as much water (I have a moderate 30 min workout 4-5x a week)? I'm mystified, but in a good way I guess. If anyone has any thoughts/theories I would love to hear! Thanks for listening.

1/25/2010 Confessions:

Breakfast
2 nutrigrain blueberry waffles
1 tbsp veggie oil spread
1 tbsp syrup
1 cup 1% milk

Snack AM
small cup coffee w/ 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar

Lunch
Healthy Choice ziti & meat sauce
1 garlic breadstick
H2O

Dinner
1 cup homemade grilled chicken stir fry with brown rice and lots of veggies
1 veggie eggroll w/ 1 tsp soy sauce
H2O

= apprx 1,550 calories
