Hi. Thanks for the welcome everyone. Darby, glad you got the phone call, good luck with the vet. Seriously, I need to take all mine in and get their shots again. Fortunately, now, we only have 6 animals. I'd have to plan for someone to drive me, I am blind, and taking them by cab is a pain, there's one cab driver who won't even transport animals, for fear of ruening his precious car, I swear, some people have their priorities mixed up, LOL., oh well.
Will weigh in next week. My main problem is binging. I need to distribute my calories equally throughout the day, I end up getting so hungry, I'll eat anything. Not good, I think that's why I haven't lost more weight. Must get to Curves today. Does anyone have any recommendations on veggie meat slices? I got some Yves veggie ham, but, I know there's Field Roast and Tofurkey as well. Getting kind of sick of hummus. Wednesday is so busy. Run to Curves, then, the gig at the Bakery, then a quick lunch, then rehearsal, then magic school. Have a good day.

Fat Chick B Gone- Thanks so much! i hope i don't feel too out of it after but if i tell my daughter i'm not feeling well she is usually very attentive to me she'll cover me up with a blanket and ask if i want water or something its so cute. How is studying for your CPA exam going? ive got a few more years till i have to think about that lol

Too cute of your daughter! I have regulation next Monday and feeling okay about it. I've been taking about an hour out of each work day to study (shhh) in addition to my nights and weekends. Cross your fingers!

I have not been a good girl!! It seems everytime I try Weight watchers I overeat! Go figure...I think I do best when I'm not soo concerned with calculating my every move. And its also hard because I like to cook rather than have pre-packaged food and I dont know the exact points:?:
Anyway I know tommorow is weigh in so I guess we'll see what happens!

Ewwww my teacher this morning was sooo rude she says "Well I guess the next time u see me I'll be 5 lbs heavier....I feel really bad for all the vegans/vegetarians out there (talking about thanksgiving) " I felt like saying well I feel worse for the turkeys!!:D I just kept my mouth shut i didnt feel like having a debate soo early in the morning. Even tho I wanted to tell her all about my lovely menu I am cookin up!
I decided on Chickpea Cutlets, mushroom gravy, stuffed delicata squash w/ wild rice, and a bunch of veggies!! I'm excited!!

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted- my internet has been down for the past couple days and it was horrible! I spend a lot of time on the internet and i missed not being able to get on and post. But I'm glad I'm back and I love reading everyone's posts.

So interesting story. There was a dinner provided for all the study abroad students and I emailed them and told them I was a vegan and "didn't eat meat or animal products" and asked if there would be anything for me to eat, they replied yes. So i get there and they were nice enough to have something, but it was CHEESE pizza.. hmm. I guess they were thinking vegetarian. So then they just gave me an extra big portion of fried mushrooms, onion rings, and fries. I'm not sure what kind of oil they were fried in but I got so hungry I ate the fries. Hopefully they don't effect my weigh-in too much.

Sadly, they don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Ireland so no Thanksgiving for me. Well actually it will be a bit easier since my family won't have to make special vegan dishes for me back home (I still haven't told them.. eek!). I do however plan to make vegan cranberry muffins in the spirit of Thanksgiving :)

NSV to report, i broke my personal distance record i jogged 4.25 miles and in a couple hours im gonna feel it!

Tigger, yeah, most people don't have a clue what a vegan is. Your muffins sound great. Haley, WTG on the exercise. Went to Curves, saw the musicians, but didn't sing. Be back later.

Hey everyone.

I'm starting to feel overwhelmed thinking about all my tests, papers, and finals coming up over the next month. I know anxiety is bad for the body so I need to find a way to relax/cope. I feel a knot in my stomach but at the same time I want to eat for comfort.. which I know I shouldn't do. Argh!

ChickPea - I think I would have to say something to that teacher after class. Sigh, I actually eat so much BETTER food now, if only people would understand that!

Dee - My work tries (which I appreciate) to accomodate me when they bring in food but they still don't quite understand what a vegan is. They're learning and keep getting better. I think it's important to say thanks and then maybe explain a little bit more about it. I had the honey conversation recently and while they think I'm nuts, fact is honey isn't vegan! Take some time out to chill and don't stress yourself too much!

Haley - wow just wow on the run!

So I had some what I thought were vegan tortilla wraps but then I noticed an ingredient last night I hadn't seen before on the package (it was burried in the fold and I must have missed it at the store) - L-cysteine. Ewwwww gross.

I did okayish this week, worked out but still eating too much. It's not binging per se just eating like I'm trying to store fat for the winter! I did drop 1.4 down to 207.4 though so I guess it's okay. Need to watch it a bit more to hit my goal of 205 for next week however.

sooo i weighed in at 148 this morning. i think my thanksgiving goal was 143 which i wont be making but i'll see what i can do!!

I weighed in at exactly 147 still up 2 from my usual weight:dizzy: I know what I have to do.....maybe some exercise!! and stop the picking:D I do more damage walking around the kitchen eatin mindlessly. I have to stay out of there..
Fat Chick B Gone: I know I wanted to say something but I just walked out...maybe after the break I'll enlighten her!
