Hey girls! I just got home from my first 5K race. I had so much fun and met my goal of running the whole way without stopping!!! I’m still slow as molasses but ME – I ran 3.1 miles without stopping!! Now my eating has been crappy as **** and I weighed in at 211 this morning. I know it’s not “true” weight just bloat from bad food and too much of it. I think I’m back in the game now.

My accounting exam sucked, I know I failed. I had an overload of family drama this past weekend that I tried to not let bother me but alas it did. I’m sure that’s part of stuffing my face also.

Haley – I’m sure you did AWESOME today! Congrats on the quitting smoking – I’m still working on that one! I have managed to cut back to one pack a week and really only smoke when I drink now. I just can’t give up my drinks though! I’m so sure I could lose quicker but man I like a good beer or glass of wine!

RDW – I’m sorry I hope everything gets straightened out soon!

Darby – Way to go on the 21 days of exercise! I’m not even going to look at that recipe for Crash Hot Potatoes. I’m a potato fiend as it is!

Laker – Welcome. Just curious, why did you switch back to vegetarian instead of sticking with vegan?

I hope everyone has a GREAT day today! I’ve got to shower off my stink and throw together a dish for me to take so I have some food today :D

146 today for me. No new loss but I am so happy to be back at my lowest baseline for today :) I ran a 5K this morning too! Just on my own street - part of EZMoney's Thanksgiving 5K right here on 3FC. My first :D

Hi Guys! Im 221 this week...Boooo.....
Oh well, at least Im not gaining I guess. I didnt quite meet my mini goal but I still think I can meet my Christmas goal of 215.
On Monday I went to my Mommy and me fitness class. We had to carry our babies up and down a set of 20 stairs 20 times. Then, there was still the rest of the class. I felt fine that day, but the next day my calves hurt so bad I could hardly walk! So, I took tuesday off at the gym. Then yesterday I had another class. I still hurt incredibly bad but I was determined to go and do what I could. I got ready, started warming up my car (locked it and went back inside). Then, I got my little man ready, and locked the handle of my front door and pulled the door shut. The second I shut it I realized that I had locked myself out of the house and the car with the car running. I had to wait in the cold with my little guy until my husband came to let me back in the house and turn off the car. (and get laughed at a lot). I missed the class needless to say. Now, today I STILL hurt! I dont know how I managed to hurt myself so badly! But Im going tonight regardless! Im going to miss the weekend at the gym too, so this week sucks.

My weighin was 145!! back to were I started! I'm happy. I made soo many delicious vegan dishes for today...roasted root veggies, chickpea cutlets, mushroom gravy, brussel sprouts, stuffing and pumpkin choc. chip cupcakes!!

Fat Chick B Gone- Good job on running all the way through your race....I did too! My time was 45.43...im slow too lol its ok better to be slow and make it to the end than burn out after a mile!

Hey everyone!

Well some good news and bad news.

I ate a healthy stir-fry for lunch because I knew dinner would probably be oily and I might have desert. However, the sauce I put in the stirfry I think must have been bad because an hour after eating it my stomach began hurting! So I went to the Thanksgiving dinner and didn't feel too good.. I ate about 1/2 of a vegetable ratatouille with rice (they were out of stuffed bell peppers) and that was it (although I could see oil droplets in the food- so it still wasn't the most healthy) . So my calorie intake for the day is probably just about average or below average. Unfortunately my intestines hurt now... ugh!

My test today didn't go so well >_< and now the one tomorrow has a ton of information to memorize (biochemical pathways, cittric acid cycle...) looks like Thanksgiving wasn't so fun this year :(

Dang TOM! I did finally start exercising: Winsor Pilates yesterday. Maybe that will help me budge from this plateau.

Fat_Chick_B_Gone, in response to your question, I felt Veganism was more of a way of life rather than purely a diet (for example you're not supposed to horse ride, wear wool or leather and you have to check everything even things like beeswax on jellybeans!) In the end, I felt like I was constantly preoccupied with food, and could never enjoy myself when I went out with friends and family (and a lot of the time, I couldn't eat anything more than a side salad without dressing on the entire menu of a restaurant!). Since I was vegan for health reasons, not moral, I decided to switch to plain vegetarian. But it does make it harder to keep slim!

I had to look back to see what my thanksgiving goal was... but I came closer than i thought. 139.5 this morning, and I gotta get back to the gym to make sure those numbers don't creep back up!!

I was 213.5 this morning, so I think I'm down .5 for the week.

Congrats to the runners! Awesome job!

We had a nice day, but I ate too much and don't feel very good right now. When will I ever learn not to overdo it?

hey ladies,
i was busy with thanksgiving stuff yesterday, so i didn't make it on here with my weigh in. i was 147 yesterday (although i think i was probably more than that today, i had a FEAST for dinner!).

Wow, I am so impressed with the runners! I can barely jog 400m without puffing. Gosh, that's shocking. :o

Last couple of days I've been busy with work which is making it quite hard to eat right, because by the time lunch comes around I'm starving. Trying my best though, Ryvitas (multigrain rye biscuits) are a godsend.

Tonight I'm going out with the boy, tomorrow I'm going out with the girls for cocktails... will try to be good :devil:

I weighed 145.5 this morning, so I'm approaching my Thanksgiving goal (145)! Well, anyway, just nice to see any brand new number on the scale after 2 weeks :dizzy:.

I think everyone is taking a bit of a break for the holidays. I'm trying to get away from the computer. I spend way too much time on it.

Anyway, this weekend has had a bit too much food, and not enough exercise. So I'm going to get on the treadmill here in a bit and do some sweating!
