Another disappointing weigh-in:

SW 158.5
CW 158.5

I am just so tired. Does anyone else feel tired...and eat to stay awake?

iriswhispers 12-04-2008 03:16 PM

kindymom... yes I definitely do.

I didn't weigh today... I'll check tomorrow but I'm not expecting it to be good. I had a me vs. a loaf of bread confrontation and the loaf of bread won...

Darby1 12-04-2008 04:17 PM

I'm the same.

213.5

erinmagill 12-04-2008 07:53 PM

Im 220 this week. Ive dropped to 1lb a week for almost a month now. Im not going to complain because 1lb is still good for me....but Im going to try and kick it up a notch soon with Eat to Live. I just started reading the book.

An unfair fight if there ever was one :)

I am up to 274 today. I still dont have it in me to change my ticker... I am in denial.

I also eat to stay awake especially sugary foods and caffiene I am convinced my body actually does not produce any energy.

Hey everyone!

I went shopping in-town with my friends yesterday. I had a great time. We stopped by super-mac's (which is the Irish McDonald's, even though they have McDonald's too) and everyone get a snack and I ate an apple from my bag :) I was proud of myself for resisting the fries. But I invited everyone over to play cards later and we made crepes (special egg free one for me) and since I had eaten well all day I didn't feel guilty having banana and nutella crepes :) I much prefered the crepes to the fries my friends offered me.

So my mom's asking me what I want for Christmas and I kinda want some kind of food dicer/proccessor. I want one that can grind nuts. Any suggestions?

Dee

Oh wow, I've never had Nutella crepes, but they would DEFINITELY win me over french fries. ;) I haven't had me some Nutella in a looooong time. I want to try one of the homemade recipes. Veganomicon has one, but I don't have all the ingredients. Maybe I can get them in time to make some for Christmas.

iriswhispers 12-05-2008 11:53 AM

ooooh... yum! I love nutella! Not the healthiest thing, of course... I really can't have any in my house or I'll scarf it all down, but it's delish.

I think I'm going to skip the weigh-in this week....

Ok so after working out tonight in the shower I was thinking how I go home in 16 days & I got inspired by Darby so I've decided I will do a 16 day work out challenge (today was day 1) and I will workout in some form everyday until I go home. I'll try and post what I do every day to keep acountable. If anyone wants to join me feel free!

Day 1: ran 4.25 kilometers

Woo Hoo Tigger!!-good job! You can do it. And now I work out most days, no questions asked. I don't fight myself so much anymore.

So, it's amazing how much stuff I can get done when I turn off the television and the computer! I'm trying to muck out my house so it's nice and clean when my mom stays while we're gone. Only two people live in this house; I do not understand how it gets so messy. Anyway, I spent much of the day doing the cleaning that I usually leave until the last minute, so that makes me feel happy. I worked out, which also makes me feel happy.

I'm getting up early tomorrow to go to the outlet stores. I need jeans so badly and tomorrow looks like the only day I'll be able to make it. I just hope I can find some nice jeans on sale! And maybe a new top or two.

Have any of you ever tried dry frying tofu? I did it last night and I had doubts that it would turn out, but it was great. It's tons less messy and smelly than frying tofu in oil, you get pretty much the same results, and it's got to be healthier. Here are the directions:

So, I'm just checking in and then I'm turning off the computer before I get lured in.

Have a great night!

iriswhispers 12-05-2008 07:53 PM

hmm... dry frying tofu... I will have to try that!

Tigger, I am going home in something less than 16 days - I think 14 or 15 - but I'm definitely in on challenging myself to workout every day. That was initially my plan for the month but I got a little sidetracked. I'll be sweating it out with you starting tomorrow! =)

tigger175 12-05-2008 08:01 PM

Yay Iris! I'm glad to have you join me :)
