I gained this week. Not that I was surprised. But I was surprised at how little I had gained. Just 0.5lb on. But it's not so bad when you expect it.

So sorry to hear of your job loss, Leigh-r, hope life is reasonably okay though.
Hellos and how-you-doin to everyone, hope you have had a good week. Mine has sort of been okay but nothing special. My excuse is it was my birthday on Monday......! I think part of my problem is it gets so hot here that I tend to eat late and then have something highly unplanned that I can just snatch out of the fridge, like a mars bar or something equally unhelpful to my quest.
Have a lovely weekend, everyone.

Whats a Mars Bar doing in your fridge then? I don't particulary like mars bars, but if it had been a kit kat would have been eaten long before it reached the fridge.

I am an angel, my fridge is full of healthy and wholesome foods like, yogurt, salad, lite spreader cheese, wholemeal rolls, strawberries, blueberries and cheese and more cheese and chocolate mousse (all full fat) Think my halo has slipped

Am not expecting a fantasticv weigh in on Monday, have been off plan for 36 hours. Is amazing how much you can eat and drink in a short time.

Ooops, let the cat out of the bag there, rather!!!

Being a diabetic reliant on insulin, I have the odd session of hypoglycaemia, and usually keep a box in the fridge with a bag of fun size mars bars and one of fun size snickers for dealing with such an emergency.... trouble is, they are so quick and easy to find, unwrap and eat in 5 seconds, that the emergency usage bit seems to have slipped from the original sentance, he he he!!!

So the mars bar police are out and about are they? Better not tell them about the king size bars Ihave been eating then (I guess they already know!)

Ok if the police are watching us this weekend, I'll admit to eating a chocolate thunder from down uner this evening. We went out to dinner at Outback steak house and I succombed to some blooming onion, salad wit not low fat dressing and although my main meal was healthy enough, I only managed a few bits of bbq chicken and very succulent it was too..I will admit to saving the room for the Choc thunder.....but....it's all over now and I enjoyed every sweet mouthful and will now go into a site and find out how many points I have gorged on......will be an absolute angel again tomorrow though

Must be because the diet police are out that I have managed to get back on track this week. Either that or someone had hidden all the forbidden foods!! lol

Well I enjoyed myself at my Boss's BBQ. He had got some quorn stuff for me and a fellow veggie (sausages etc) and some cheese and veg kebabs which were very nice. I also had to (would have been rude not to) have some black forest gateau. My Boss is German and they have a German baker right near where they live. I also downed some margueritas and a slug of a Hungarian liquer which tasted like a stonger version (43% proof) of Benedictine! For someone that rarely drinks.... But, apart from the cheese cubes in the kebabs I didn't help myself to the cheeseboard when it was handed round, so serious "brownie points" there I think. However, unfortunately the coke I drank was not of the diet variety. Ah well, tomorrow's another day - and I get weighed! AAGH!
