Michelle.... your experience at your brothers grave sounds wonderful, not maudlin. I used to visit my nan's grave regularly before I had kids and sit and talk to her for ages...I did go once my kids were born and in their pushchairs but they never wanted to stay as long as I did... so I only went fleetingly and stayed a short while after. I believe visiting a loved ones grave is important if that's what you need... I'm sure your brother is smiling and he knows it's his birthday and loved having you celebrate with him.

Beautiful day here today...are you enjoying it RSG? I've been out in my garden for a few hours, just sitting on the deck in the shunshine drinking tea and nattering on the phone...very lazy indeed but oh so enjoyable.

Sarah, glad the doggy do went well, hope you're heads a bit better today....did Ellie and the boys wear a party hat?

Lou, sounds like you had a good time as well...I'm not much of a drinker...in fact, the last time I had a tipple was New Years and it was a little glass of Baileys....I'm a right drinking wimp.

We changed the cocks forward here today, to extend daylight savings so I am hoping for a nice walk after dinner with Dave and the dogs...especially as it's so nice out....oh well, better get some spuds peeled and veggies done ready for the rest of dinner....

Chris...I'm laughing out loud...you changed the "cocks" forward!!!! She means clocks people, its daylight savings here, so now it stays light later.

Michelle your post about your brother is wonderful like Chris said. I go to my Dad's grave a lot and talk to him. First I get a little mad that he left me when I was 18, but then I just chat about everything that is going on in life. Now that I think about it, I haven't been there in a while, time for a trip. I always feel so relaxed when I'm there and I usually like to go alone.

Ran 8 miles today....BUT, just got home from dinner out, 2 margaritas, chili and a couple of bites of other peoples things. It was a friends birthday, it was fun, I'm not overly concerned about it, I just keep plodding along.

The weather is supposed to be nice all week...FINALLY.

LOU - WHERE DID YOU GET GUINNESS MARMITE???? I've been looking all over the place for it!

Michele - Sounds like a nice peaceful way to spend the day, and what a nice weekend it's been for weather.

Sarah Ann - good for you partying! I hope the boys and Ellie got their treats from the BBQ too!

I've had a great weekend, Mum and I had a lovely time at the ballet. We did get all dolled up and I managed most of the day walking around in heels. I took piccies, but the camera is at home, so you'll just all have to wait!

We did Tapas for Saturday night, which was lovely. We went to a place in Greenwich, we got the Thames Clipper down, it's lots of fun.

Yesterday we all went on a canal boat from Camden to Little Venice and had a big lunch at a floating tea room. Then we wandered around Camden market a little bit, then went home and had a Chinese. I am SO full from that last night that I still haven't eaten breakfast! I was rolling around on the floor saying, "I know what it feels like to be pregnant - my stomach is squashing my lungs..." Moan moan moan!

The weather is absolutely fantastic here - I'm thinking that I might cycle to work on Wednesday if it stays nice.

Oooooooooooo, I'm surprised I didn't get asterisked.... I did one time when I mispelt shirt and missed a letter out...glad you had a giggle over it RSG...I do like to amuse

Sounds like you had a rather nice dinner, but I'm sure it didn't cound for anything after running 8 miles luvey. Been meaning to ask, what is your run in April for down here?

Jen, your weekend sounds perfect, glad you had a nice time... can't wait for your glam pics...

Well the sun is shining and it already feels quite lovely out so my plan after curves is to clean out the basement windows where all the crap blows and get the remaining leaves out from under the front bushes...oh yes and mop floors...did I ever tell any of you that i HATE white tile and wood floors??? Did I? Did I?

OK, must get dressed and go to exercise.... see you all later on

Daylight savings time that one hour makes a difference. Well it did this morning when I had to get up. Gorgeous weather here, it's to be in the 70's the next 3 days. I always notice how fat I am when the weather warms up. You can hide in your clothes when it's cold. There's a lot of nice things in the shops but I'm still too big for a lot of them. A good day to stay on plan.

Yes please! Just one will do! I've pm'd you my addy!

I missed the gym yesterday, I was busy with stupid work but I made it to kickboxing class and whooped the kiddies' asses!

Today I'm coming down with sniffles but I think a session in the gym will cure me of it! I haven't actually done anything since last Tuesday I'm a naughty Frus!

Ah well, must get breakfast I suppose. I'm interviewing potential placement students today. I turned up for work first thing in primark jogging bottoms and a vest top - walked through to the toilets to change and I get, "What you doing in here looking all sexed up...?" Well I don't want to intimidate the new students do I?

Chris I actually had to pass on the run on the Cape, I have a bridal shower that day I'm down there a lot in the summer though so we'll definitely have to meet up somewhere!!!!

So beautiful here, last night I walked to and from the gym, I think it's a couple of miles so nice to add a little bonus workout. Today hoping to run, but I'm supposed to go out for a friends birthday. Sort of odd that I would rather go for a long run. I start tutoring my neighbor today for a little extra cash so I don't have any extra time after school for exercise. So unless our night out is cancelled it'll be a day off for me.

Have a great day everyone, I'm hoping for some truancy today due to the nice weather. Too many kids in class drives me crazy
