S/C/G: SW:226/16st - about 50lbs lost

I'm back. I'm calm now! DUH! Kept me occupied for a while anyway!

Helen, I love that dress - you foxy lady!

Chris and RSG. COLD COLD COLD. Brrrrrr! Think warm thoughts

Er, what did I do yesterday... Oh yes, that's right! Legs (I knew there was a reason walking was tough! ). So a good leg day, not as challenging as it was last week, well it was kinda hard since I did the routine backwards and pre-exhausted some muscles so that was pretty cool. My legs aren't hurting anywhere NEAR as much as they were last week and I don't feel that tired, so it's all good! I even went kickboxing last night, and there was a big hoo-hah because I get to the sports centre at 6pm EVERY week and class doesn't start till 7pm. I usually don't mind since it means I can call at Tesco on the way or sit and read a book for a bit and chill out, but I would like to have my private lesson in that space if it was possible. There was a little lad who had a private lesson at his house at that time, but he's moved now. So I thought I was going to get the slot, so Lee told me last Saturday and I said, "Oh, I was just going to take a few weeks off Tuesday, so maybe not for a few weeks." Which he interpreted to mean that I would never train on Tuesdays ever again MEN! So anyway, he gave my slot to this girl who is training for her brown and white belt. Or at least wants to go for her grading at the end of March. That's 3 WEEKS PEOPLE!!!!! And she's pathetic! Anyway, so I was quite happy to read downstairs last night, but Lee asked me to come and help with her lesson. Basically I demonstrated my grading to a fairly high level (some kicks were a little off) and then she did her stuff and OMGoodness but she is appalling and will never get to the standard she needs to by 31st March. It's really funny but she's had the sheet and known what to do since before September. You'd think before spending £35 on a private lesson you'd have at least trained a little bit and thought about what you were going to do! Her kicks were very low and she has very little flexibility, which is quite poor for the level she is at. Anyway, so she made me look VERY GOOD! Since she also turned up 15 mins late and not warmed up and then almost fainted since she's only eaten a sandwich all day, about 4 hours before the lesson. I was there at 6pm on the dot even though I had to lane-split for about 5 miles on the M25!!!!

God I'm such a b!tch!

So then I took the warmup for the usual class and I had to spar with 5 people in a row for 30sec rounds. It was great fun! I completely loved it! There is some guy who's come back after being away, for just about all the time I've been training. He seems to remember me, but I don't remember him at all, so he must've left just after I joined. Unless he was trying to hit on me!

Got home and chilled out and we ate ice cream in bed

Today is my rest day from weights at the gym and I'm planning on doing 45 mins or so on the treadmill, but we'll see how narky my knee is feeling. It seems a little odd this morning, but in a different place! I might ice it while I'm in the meeting, then depending on what time we finish, we may or may not go to the gym. Hubs is out this evening, so I get to tidy and wash up and batch-bake and make the airbed up for the 'rents coming at the weekend. Lucky me! I quite like a relaxing night without him since he doesn't usually want to help tidy the place, but I quite like to be straightened out a bit!

Anyway, keep on keepin on!

Morning all.

Nice sunny day here. I got some lottery tickets as well didn't win anything.

Have you started work yet Chris?

I'm off out for lunch with a british friend. Don't know where we're going to go. It's not been a very good week eating wise. The scales will tell me tomorrow. I'd better go get ready.

Hello everyone

I dropped the hairdryer on my toe this morning oh the absolute pain. Don't even try to imagine me starkers on the bed crying for my hubby who came up to find me with my leg in the air crying and swearing. I said I've killed my toe he then proceeded to rub my leg and said what have you done. What have I done you fecking big eejit I thought I' ve done myself the most terrible injury. Anyway after a while it calmed a bit and I was able to go to work but its been throbbing all day and I have a bruise. However I have managed to go to the gym I am a complete martyr.

You look gorgeous in your dress Helen the boys won't be able to resist you.

Lou my brother who is almost ten years younger than myself had pyloric stenosis also. I remember his puking as if it were yesterday. His scar is much tidier than mine too I have been butchered.Mind you this was over forty years ago so I'd say things are way better these days!! I was told there was a high chance of my boys having it but neither did thank god.

Glad you are all ok

Goodnight godbless

Michele - I hope your toe feels better soon!

I did just over 7 really fast miles with running club tonight. I'm definitely getting better at keeping up with the fast girls now

Clydegirl - hope you had a nice lunch.

I was a bit annoyed at lunchtime. We had compulsory training from 12 - 2, and they didn't provide food. I was ready to eat a small child by the time it finished. Luckily I had some emergency food to eat, but I still ended up raiding the vending machine for flapjack before running club. But then the flapjack fueled a fabby run so it's not too bad, I'm just annoyed that they don't think about us when they organise this stuff as there then wasn't really time to go out and get anything either.

Helen I had a lovely lunch. We went to Red Robin and I ate way too much. I had their classic cheeseburger and endless fries. Plus their classic lemonade with strawberry garnish.

I've got a sore throat and an itchy sneezy snout

Red Ronin hey CG? A regular you'll be. Glad you had a nice lunch though. We' ordered take out tonight from a place J sometimes gets lunch from, I had the most marvalous grilled chicken wrap, it was huge though, I ate half and will eat the rest tomorrow for lunch. It was very tasty.

Helen, good job on the flapjack fueled run, I dind't know they made flapjacks for machines...thought they were always fresh baked at the bakers... see how much I know.

Michelle, hope your toe feels better, hope you've not broken it luvey. It does bloody hurt when you drop things on toes... I do it all the time, lluckily, my toes are short so it misses a lot of times.

I think I may be being naughty tomorrow and going with a brit friend to the local tea shoppe (why do they feel it must be olde world writing to make it look better) for a cream tea..... I think I've done good this week with my food though, so reckon I can have a treat Don't reckon I'll ever do the Easter challenge though... we're into week nine tomorrow and I don't have a pound loss to show to my name...no one's fault but my own though.

Ok, must go and find another throat thingy...see you all tomorrow.
