Good Morning!
Well, I don't know what happened to me yesterday but I got up early and after writting you ladies I thought what a great morning to ride my bike! When I got back I thought I'll rest here on the couch. I was useless the rest of the day. I didn't want to do do anything. What happened? There is no way I over did it. I wasn't that tired when I got off the bike.

Anyway, I've got alot I have to do today around here so I'm not to sure if I want to ride my bike today or not. Maybe I'll just exercise inside today.

Browneyed I am glad you are exercising. As far as eating. If you LOVE CARBS I have found that eating NO carb Breakfast and lunches really has curbed my appetite for snacking or benging at the end of the day. At night I eat all I want of a well balanced meal which always includes carbs and I always have dessert of some kind.

BainidheDub you are going to love the challenge. It has been fun.

Angel eyes - Way to go!! I can't wait to fit into a 14!!

exquisitern, A lot of the restaurants are for the tourist if you know what I mean. Geat Scenery, over priced and small potions of okay food. The locals don't go there. Depending on where you'll be I'll give you the closer ones I would go to. PM me. It would be a shame not to meet up while you're in town. When are you leaving for the cruise again?

I am so excited to see everyone writting in again.

Hpnotq I've missed you!

Amber you are unbelievable! 10 miles and Pilates? Way to go!

Good Morning Ladies,

Well today was weigh in day. I'm happy to report that I'm down 2 more pounds!

Janice-Good job exercizing. Just take it step by step, you'll get there.

BainidheDub-Glad to see you're back.

Potato-Glad to see you're okay, I was wondering why you weren't around much yesterday. Maybe your body just needed some extra rest.

Hope everyone is doing well this morning.
Talk to you all later.

2 pounds!! Way to go Leec!!

Donna the reason I can only count 1 pound is because my actual weigh in day is Sundays but for the challenge its Friday. When I started Friday I had already lost 1 pound. But that's okay because I'm losing and that's all that matters

I figured out why I was so tired yesterday. "Aunt Flo" just surprised me with a visit today. I could have sworn she was here just two weeks ago. Anyway I feel much better but I better get some chocolate for my reward meal

I'm with you on the warm water. Once it gets warm I don't drink as much. At work I get a 36oz cup full of ice and only fill it quarter way, that way it stays colder because of all of the ice.

I havent tried that... am gonna have to.. sounds really good! hehehe....

Amber, it just takes practice. I do better with the line dancing. AND I have a guy that dances with me whenever he is there and he makes me look good! We danced for about 4 hours total this weekend.

Default Good Morning

Hi everybody,

Sounds like everybody had a pretty good weekend. I did but I didn't! Fell off the wagon Saturday night. My great-nephew and his dad had a joint birthday party. Had a cupcake and they were having a fish fry/crawfish boil. I felt guilty for eating but I did enjoy it! Then I went and danced some. Hopefully, I danced some of it off! I'll know when I go on Thursday to weigh in. Ugh!

Linda I used to love clogging. Can't find anyone who teaches it around here. It wasn't like I was any good at it but I enjoyed it just the same. I'm sure even though you splurged this weekend all that dancing will keep the pounds off.

Laura that's great about you and your sister walking. Keep up the good work!

I spent the entire day volunteering at cubscout camp .....phew, am I beat!!! All day out in the sun, with 7x8yo's is enough to drive you CRAZY!! The other moms all brought bags and bags of chips, but I was a good girl crunch a' munching on my carrot sticks!!! Drank a TONNE of water...hehe, more money to the pot!!!

Hi all! Hope everyone's day is going well. This is my last day of work until the 19th. Our office is moving, so I had to pack up all of my stuff for the movers. I'll be glad to miss the moving drama, but I'm going to hate having to unpack all of my stuff in my new office when I get back.
Potato: We're going to stay at the Edgewater Beach Resort. I'm not sure where that is in Panama City, but I know it's right on the ocean because they have a private beach. I'll pm you with my full name and my cell phone. Hopefully maybe we can hook up some time while I am there. Hopefully a good seafood restaurant won't be too hard to find. I appreciate the assistance.

Well, everyone have a good evening and stay on target!!!

Donna you are going to love Edgewater. There is actually 3 Towers. They have the most beautiful pool. Its like an Island with a small water fall in it. The waiters will come into the pool and serve you. That's where we used to go when we lived in Ga. and came to Panama city to vacation.

Angel I think everyone would understand if you cheated after all you can always make up for it> Just kidding.
I didn't ride my bike today I just had to much to do since I laid around all day yesterday. I drank alot of water today and feeling really good. My reward meal is coming up and I am having chicken casserole for dinner.

WARNING: I've been away for several days and have alot to catch up on. I'm warning you now that this will be long! I bolded the names of everyone I'm personally responding to in case you don't have time to read anything but a response to something you said or did.

Hello ladies! I'm finally getting a chance to catch up with yall again. Boy has it been nuts since the last time I checked in with yall. Wednesday (May 31) we packed frantically for an emergency trip outta town, and then I worked until 9:00 at work. Unfortunately, an emergency trip outta town is just that. We were headed outta town for a funeral. My husband's grandmother passed away on Memorial Day. It's kinda ironic actually. She was born July 4, 1913 and passed away on Memorial Day. This was my husband's last living grandmother, so he took it rather hard. I don't think he's over it yet, but only time will help with that. Bright and early Thursday morning, we were outta bed and on the road to Indiana. We got into town in Evansville around 7ish that night (about a 12 hour drive cause we only stopped twice for gas), and we went straight to the funeral home. I don't know about any of yall, but I'd rather not be at a funeral home...it kinda gives me the creeps. I guess it's from that horrible joke I was told in like 3rd grade about the guy driving the hearse and the person in the back tapped him on the shoulder. Yikes!

To make matters worse, I was very tired and it started pouring when we left. Needless to say we got drenched running to the car. On top of that, I've only been to Evansville 5 times counting this past trip....so I don't know the roads very well. That was a nightmare in itself. My in-laws were wonderful and put us up in a hotel for two of the three nights we were there, and the third night we spent with them. After spending a while at the funeral home meeting people in my husband's family that I'd never met before and stopping by his parents' house, we settled in at our hotel for the night. We were up until around 2:30 just watching tv and talking. On top of my long drive and being up so early, I couldn't sleep. Go figure. Add to that having to keep an eye on my hubby who had a little too much to drink that night and couldn't find the bathroom to get sick in, and you find how I managed to get only 4 hours of sleep.

Friday (June 2) was the day of the funeral. I didn't get to go to the funeral because I was asked to stick around babysit for a couple of my nieces so their parents could concentrate on the funeral. I mean after all, what kind of interest would a three year old and a six year old have in sitting through an hour long service? After the funeral, everyone came by and we had a huge lunch...and I do mean huge. The girls were overall pretty good, although my three year old niece Maddie has a VERY short attention span. Between the two of them, they made a huge mess around my mother-in-law's beautiful clean house. It took me around 20 minutes just to clean it all up. Later that day, we headed off to see my husband's other mother in law (yes I have two...my hubby is adopted...thankfully I love em both!). We were completely exhausted from a lack of sleep and turned in at the hotel around 6ish. I picked up dinner from a restaurant nearby and spent alot of time online (free local calls at the hotel) working on preparing a new message board that debuted Monday.

Saturday was probably one of the busiest days I've had lately. We had to be up and outta the hotel early cause of check out time. That was easy enough. We had to run to the grocery store (I'll explain in the next paragraph lol). We visited with so many people because it was our one and only day to visit with alot of my hubby's family and friends. I'd say overall we met around 20 people through the day. Back at my in laws' house around 6ish to start settling in for the long drive Sunday back home.

Sunday was a driving day and simple as that. We were up about 4:45 and hit the road by 10 after 5. We wanted to get outta town early, and we succeeded. We still didn't make it home until nearly 7, but that was my fauly. I missed my turn about an hour away from home and we ended up nearly an hour out of our way. Yikes! There was some tension in our truck after that one...sh...stuff happens though. To make matters worse, I started getting sick on our drive home (sore throat etc) and I was tired. Little did I know that sore throat would turn into a terrible Monday morning. I was so sick yesterday that I was miserable. I feel a little better today, but I'm still not at 100%.

Now I'm gonna stop right there and tell you that my eating from Thursday until Sunday night was absolutely horrible (for the most part). I knew it would be because there are things we can get in Evansville, IN that I can't get here. It's one of those special occasion circumstances, and I don't feel the least bit guilty about it. Warning if you have food craving triggers stop reading now! We had pizza when we got into town because we didn't feel like going out....and I was sooooo sick after I had it too. I'm talking nausea, stomach ache, the whole nine yards. Anyone had that happen when they've been eating really well for a while and then have something with alot more grease than they're used to? Lunch after the funeral wasn't really bad because I stayed away from things I shouldn't have had (like deviled eggs, cookies, cake etc). I stuck with the lunch meat on the sandwiches and the fruit and veggie trays. I certainly cleaned them out after the luncheon was over...took some leftovers back to the hotel with us. Dinner takeout Friday night was actually pretty good (sweet potato and a salad...oh and 2 rolls cause I wanted them and we were on vacation). I did drink a bunch of Double Cola though (if you don't know what it is don't feel bad cause I didn't until after I met my other half). Saturday we did buffet at Ponderosa, and I know you know where that headed...YIKES! But it's not every day you get to go to places that you don't normally go. Sunday was probably my worst day though because we had Hardees for breakfast and lunch (we don't have any Hardee's near us and it was something special).

We had to get Double Cola, BBQ Fritos, Grippos Potato Chips, chocolate cake donut holes and Big B Barbecue to bring home with us. Those are just some of the things my hubby grew up with and now misses when he can't have them. Of course Sunday night when we got home we were so tired that we just heated up a jar of Big B Barbecue and had that for dinner. Oh and of course if anyone is in an area that they can get any of those above items, pm me cause I'd like to talk to you for a few about it lol. Overall not the best weekend for eating, but that was something I had already told myself was ok before we even left. What a relief Monday morning when I got on the scale and hadn't gained a single pound...WOOHOO! I did gain inches, but I'm ok with that because of what I allowed myself to do.

Today still hasn't been the best eating day for me cause I'm still getting over that cold and soup is the only thing that makes my throat feel better. But I plan to come out kicking strong tomorrow on my day off. I'm thinking as a part of this sticking with it, I may start coming here and posting what I expect to get done in a day so I can be held accountable for that as well. Too many times I've had a bunch of things I planned on getting done but didn't because I just sat around on my computer all day. If yall would help to hold me accountable for those things as well, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Now....on to everything I've missed since Tuesday when I checked in last!

emzi_bops-Glad you got that hangover taken care of and were able to hop right back onto the eating right wagon. I know how easy it is to hop off and not get back on. I'm starting to go through it right now. I think the only reason I wanna hop back on is cause I know yall are here for me if I need to encouragement. Hope your interview went alright...let us know how you did.

potato-Glad you had fun out on the water for Memorial Day. I had a great day too cause I was off of work. We grilled out that night...boy was that fun. I had turkey dogs and corn on the cob lol. That was about as good as my eating was going to get. I'm so glad you're drinking more water. It's just such a great feeling and an energy boost on top of that! Woohoo way to go drinking only water while you were out on the water. LMAO at your joke about Captain Flash (and he's hot)! That was too cute! You are so right about our support group! Everyone's here for a different reason and yet we're all here for the same end result. Thanks for the congratulations on the 1 lb loss! It's not easy, but it's still going...little by little! I'm totally up for the piggy bank challenge....although I'll be a little behind. Let's try to tweak it just a little for adding water (because water was a big challenge for me when I first started on my weight loss journey). Just a little input on it though. You bet $100 that you'll lose more weight than your friend by January?? Piece of....never mind....bad phrase. I know you can do it! You've got every one of us behind you! And beyond that if you keep losing the way you have been, I'll be motivated to not be left behind! I love it that your husbands are getting involved...that's so great. Hopefully your husband will be instrumental in helping you beat her behind! Five minutes is a fine start indeed! You gotta get started somewhere, and five minutes is 5 minutes more than you had the day before. Way to go! Have you added more time at all lately? Just FYI....I was doing a points thing until we had to make that emergency trip outta town, but the money thing seems more interesting to me! We did 1 point for every healthy meal, 1 point for every 20 minutes of exercise, 1 point for every 64oz of water, 1/2 a point for every healthy snack (the only 1/2 point we were allowed...we weren't allowed any on water or exercise), and we got 2 points for every pound or inch we lost. I like the money idea so much better because we have something we're working towards besides our weight loss. I'm totally up for the money challenge, but could we add something for inches lost? Like maybe 50 cents or something? I tend to lose inches sometimes and not pounds....just a thought. I'll start up this upcoming Friday as far as money is concerned since I missed the beginning. I had been having weigh in on Mondays, but I can easily change that by weighing and measuring Friday. Can yall give me an update on what we decided for the money to be paid to our jars though? Thanks! I'd appreciate it. Never mind...I just got to the post where you put the official rules out....thanks! Oh and by the way....thanks! I missed you too!

LauraCarrotKasey Kahne won the Coca Cola 600...and Matt Kenseth just won the Neighborhood Excellence 400 presented by MBNA this past Sunday. Gosh it certainly has been a while since I was able to check in huh? You oughta pick a driver and follow it a little more closely. I'm loving it, and I've been a fan for 14 years now. Those Billy Blanks dvd's are pure ****/heaven. They're craziness cause they're exhausting, but at the same time I'm refreshed after a great workout. I'm glad you're staying around us for a while cause everyone here has helped me out a bunch already. How'd that water goal go last week? Hope you're feeling better....I saw you were sick. Have some chicken broth and some water. You'll feel better soon! But you gotta eat so you get those nutrients into your system.

exquisitern-Hello! And welcome to our little corner of 3fc! We're glad you found us and hope you'll post regularly!

Angel33-Wow $400??? That's great! Congratulations!

3gwriter-Those size 8's were falling off of you??? WOW!!! Way to go! I can't wait for the day when my size 24's are falling off of me lol. I do have a pair of size 26 jeans that I just can't wear anymore cause they're too big even with a belt on! Yeehaw! You'll be there in no time with losing another size before your sil's wedding!

Bainidehub-Woohoo! 3 lbs in your first week! Wonderful! Yeah if you make it home feeling sweaty and gross you had to have done at least a little something for yourself! I've heard that yes you're supposed to have an absolute minimum of 1200 calories per day. I'm not sure if that's 100% true, but I have read that on multiple sites. My biggest challenge is actually getting to those 1200 calories! I've found myself full for each meal and snack and getting to 7 at night having about 400 calories to spare. I guess I cut too much junk out. I've managed to balance it out now that I'm into my 5th week overall.

Jjeane-Falling off of the eating wagon is okay...but only okay. Just remember to hop back on and never give up. I've found that it's way too easy to give up...basically that's been the case since I was about 13 and wanted to lose weight each and every summer. Then one day I'd binge and eat anything in sight all day and give up. I'm 22 now, and I'm NEVER going to let that happen again. It was kinda a slap in the face to realize that I'm facing some real health problems if I don't do something about it. 20 lbs by Labor Day huh? I think you can do it!!! Keep us updated on how that's going.

AmberD-Hello! And welcome to Sticking With It! We always welcome new faces! We hope you'll post often....we're all here for you! My exercise program varies, but I'm really stuck with my Dance Dance Revolution. I have made it a routine to do with my ab workout video that I picked up. Oh boy..have I felt muscles doing that thing that I have never felt before! I do the total body workout every other day and the ab workout/DDR on my off days for the total body workout.

vapixie-Woohoo! Way to go on beating that WW goal! That's a great feeling isn't it?

angel-eyes-Hello! And welcome to our little group! We're glad to have you here! We're all on different plans but with the same intended results. I've had so much motivation come from this little group right here. Come by and post often. Way to go on your most recent loss! Congratulations!!

BrownEyedJ-Never be ashamed to fall off the wagon. It's alright...we're here to pick you back up and steer you right again. Everything is gonna be alright!

Everyone Else-If I missed you I'm so sorry! I went through I think 7 pages here at work trying to figure out and catch up with everyone. If I missed you I'm sorry and I don't plan to miss this many days in a row again! Talk to yall soon!
