I can't believe it!! I finally went to Target and bought a scale over the weekend. It took me another day to get the courage to get on and I was down to 175!!! That's 12 pounds gone forever!!! I knew that my clothes were feeling looser, but I had convinced myself that I had just stretched them out because I don't think I look any smaller. Talk about a great weekend! I'm really on
Regina - That's great that you love your job. And wanting your own cubicle is not dorky - everyone needs a space of their own. I'm still waiting for them to set me up at my own desk. It'll be nice to be able to put my babies pictures up and not have to look at someone elses kids all day! And have fun on your vacation! I love San Antonio (or as it's called in Texas - SA) There's so many great things to do there.
Elaine - Congratulations of the loss and the new plan. It sounds great and pretty similar to the one I've tried to adapt to.

I feel like I've been away forever... so much has happened recently
Where to begin? First, challenge is going GREAT! Water, water, and more water. Second, my vacation is next week already. I'm going shopping for a new wardrobe tomorrow night... wish me luck. And I told ya'll I started looking into a new job after Regina told us her exciting news about getting one herself, right? Well, I DID IT! My last day at my current job is July 7th I'm starting my new job on the 10th! I'll finally have good health insurance, dental, vision, 2 weeks paid vacation PLUS sick time, AND A 30% INCREASE IN PAY right outta the gate! I'm soooooooooooooo excited. But, it means I'm CRAZY busy trying to get stuff ready for vacation and trying to train my replacement before I get the h*** outta here. So, I probably won't be around much But I'll try to do a better job of stopping in at least once a week even if it is just to say hi and see how everyone is doing.
Angie: Good luck with the job search! Way to keep a positive attitude! You are 100% right, it will happen when it's meant to happen.

Im hanging in there...I stgruggle and want junk food...seriously want junk food. But this past while I have just maintaining my goal of staying away from the sugar. I took miss Skittles out for a walk yesterday,,,no long trek or anything but a nice walk. Thank goodness cause its raining heavy since about an hour after the walk.
I go see Dr. McKenna today. I got bumped, some one cancelled and I got their spot. Im so excited...scared though,,,Worried shes goes to say...well its obvious you are wacked! lol anyways Ive been told I can;t have caffeine before going....*heavy breathing that is my lifes blood *whimper

I will be perfectly honest with you all being on a challenge and going on vacation don't mix really well. Let me rephrase that it would have if I had been 100% to it. I got really lax when I went to visit my dad.

Hey Everybody! I hope y'all had a great weekend. My monday morning weigh in went great. Another 3 pounds lost!!!
My parents drove down from D.C. for a short visit. We walked them all around downtown Charlottesville. It was a great excuse to do some exploring of my new hometown. Then we went to my in-laws for Father's day on Sunday. It's nice to go there and visit knowing that we don't have to stay
For all those who fell off the wagon: Get up, brush yourselves off and climb back in. You can do it!! I don't know how everyone else feels, but if I eat badly for one meal, I don't count it as "falling off". I just count it as "splurging" and I'm careful to eat well and exercise a little bit more for the next couple of days. That way I don't put myself in the wrong frame of mind. After all, we're all human and we're going to give in to temptations. Life's not enjoyable if you can't enjoy it sometimes!!
Regina: I'm glad that you had a good vacation and it's super that you're ready to get back to work. That's the sign of a good job - one that you want to get up and go to.
Amanda: Congratulations on your new job!! It sounds like it'll be an improvement from your last one. It really means a lot to have a job with good benefits.
Tryinagain: I'm afraid I don't have any great ideas, but I agree that we need some sort of a kickstart.
