    First off let me apologize because my post to you was not to imply that anyone was anything. I was writing the post while I was at work and my thoughts got ahead of my fingers. Please do not think that I am suggesting that you are an idiot, my intention was definitely not that nor do I feel that way. When I read your post I read something else into it and replied that way. I am deeply sorry. My comment in regards to PM the other sistas is our postings have been light so I got a PM from Cassy that maybe we should see how the other sistas are doing since we haven't heard from them, so I did. I feel really bad about this whole mix up and I hope that you understand that I am extremely sorry for the misunderstanding. In regards to the support I am here for you and the others whole hearted. That's a promise.

    I HAVE READ SOME THINGS HERE AND INTERNALIZED WHAT WAS SAID BECAUSE OF MY OWN PERSONAL HANG-UPS, BUT I REALLY FEEL THAT NO ONE HERE HAS EVER SAID ANYTHING INTENTIONAL TO HURT ANYONES FEELINGS. NO ONE IS ABOVE ANYONE HERE-WE ARE ALL TRYING TO REACH THE SAME GOALS AND HAVE THE SAME ISSUES THAT BROUGHT US ALL TOGETHER. BEING OVERWEIGHT IS HARD AND WE HAVE BEEN PRONE TO ASSUME THAT PEOPLE ARE PICKING AWAY AT OUR FAULTS SO QUICKLY THAT WE DONT STOP AND LEARN TO APPRECIATE THE GOOD THINGS THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO OFFER US.

    REGINA PUT THE CALL TO ALL OF US AND WE ALL RESPONDED. SHE HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT ENCOURAGING TO EVERYONE HERE. EVEN IN HER OWN WEAK MOMENTS SHE HAS FOUND A WAY TO UPLIFT SOMEONE ELSE. IF YOU LOOK AT THE PREVIOUS POSTS I AM SURE THERE HAS BEEN A POINT THAT SHE HAS ENCOURAGED YOU WHEN YOU NEEDED IT.

    I THINK IN THE FUTURE WHEN SOMEONE HERE FEELS OFFENDED PERSONALLY BY A COMMENT BY SOMEONE ELSE A PM NEEDS TO BE SENT TO THAT PERSON. TO LEAVE IT HERE SHEDS A NEGATIVE LIGHT ON THE OVERALL GOAL OF THIS THREAD AND MAY DISCOURAGE OTHERS WHO NEED SUPPORT FROM JOINING US. WE NEED TO STAY, BE AND REMAIN POSITIVE NOT JUST FOR OURSELVES BUT FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO NEEDS IT.

    I AM HOLDING ALL MY SISTA'S WITH ME EACH DAY THAT I DONT FEEL LIKE WORKING OUT, WHEN I FEEL LIKE GIVING UP OR GIVING IN. I ESPECIALLY HOLD MY SISTA'S WHEN I ACHIEVE A VICTORY. I FEEL THAT EVERY INCH OR OUNCE LOST BY ANYONE HERE IS MY VICTORY TOO.

    SO THIS IS TOO ALL MY SISTA'S- PUT ALL THE WEIGHT OF THIS ON MY SHOULDERS SUGA AND LETS MOVE ON FROM THIS!

    I have been doing my thing for the last 2 days,,,I am weaning off of sugar,,,and it connected to wheat. And that is a challenge in it self. But as I said really did some deep soul searching and thought I have to wait 4-5 months till i see this Dr for my weight loss I am going to do my own thing to help me loose some of this weight. Im drinking my water,,,going for walks..Miss Skittles will benefit from this also,,,its a win win situation.
    I normally don't do well with challenges cause I feel restriced and flub up. But as long as you guys are cool with me working along side you with my thing,,,Im in.
  • May 29th-June 19th....So who else is up for this challenge ?? 3 weeks to healthier bods :O) I've gotta be honest, I'm not really good about drinkin' lotsa water!! I gotta small bladder or somethin?!?! But I'll do my best... And I swear I'm not gonna abandon all you sistas',, or become an exercise-maniac on ya'll again :O) I'm gonna be a good sista' from now on :O) I really did miss ya'll and the support from everyone here during my 30day absence :O(

    sometimes i have difficulties too with challenges but i know that we can do it together! i love french fries with a passion but i found some sweet potatoe fries as an alternative. they are good and give me the french frie fix with a little bit to satisfy my sweet tooth!

    Nothing new here. Weather has been really crappy lately and it's been affecting my workouts this week. I want to be out in the sun jogging or rollerblading... basically doing anything fun that doesn't feel like a workout. I just can't motivate myself to workout indoors ladies. Any suggestions?

  • You're right - I shouldnt be so easy to offend & should have PMd instead of posted. I need the support and want to be supportive as well. Like everyone else I have other issues in my life with work and family and some days are worse than others.
  • Cassy,,,I know for me they are connected I love donuts and cakes/and all that horrible binge foods. So i thought if I can keep off the sugar,,,and slowly wean off of white flours...maintain my whole grains,,,flax seeds and such I would be on a wonderful path with no binging...
    Amanda Mae..head for the mall,,,do some laps...do two,,,first one time yoruself and the second beat that time.

    Tryingagain,,,I am so with you in having things happening in life and work and needing support, so lets all get together on this and do your thing,,,as Im doing my thing and we can talk about whats working whats not and support each other.

    well Im off to a refresher class for computers...duh...lol

    Crystal, I know I have to go bathroom every few seconds it seems when Im drinking my water,,,but it does get better from what ever one says to me...as I race past them to the bathroom...just keep drinking the water and eventually yor bladder with catch up with you.
  • Hey everyone :O) Hope ya'll are havin' a great day !! I've been go-going all day long... I didn't do well with drinkin' water nor counting my calories,, I did make it to the gym though so that's a thumbs up!!
    The 30day challenge I joined was at my local gym,, consisted of 63 ladies/contestants all competing to lose the most in one of three categories ; body-fat%, inches, and/or pounds lost.. The three top "losers" won prizes and bragging rights :O) The biggest "loser" got a grand first prize,,, I won,
    of course, the first prize with the most pounds lost and I won second prize for the most inch loss.. Third place wasn't me, boo-hoo!! A gal with the most body-fat% loss won third place... I'm soooo greedy I know :O) I wanted all three prizes for myself!!! I'm an only child and I must've never been taught to share with others :O)

    Angie: Walking around the mall is a great idea! I have tried to avoid the mall because when I go all I want to do is BUY NEW STUFF! I promised myself I wouldn't buy anything new til Mid-June But your suggestion would be a great way to window shop for my Mid-June shopping spree, AND get exercise at the same time!

    Well ladies, weigh in for me this morning wasn't that great. Gained a pound, up to 152, but I can guarantee its from my lazy workout attitude this week. Food was fine, I just have not been motivated to work out because of the crappy weather. Next week will be better, I PROMISE!

    HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE MOMS WHO HAVE KIDS, PETS AND HUSBANDS....HA!HA! YOU FEEL ME DON'T YOU...

    Well I am at work right now and I am so ready to go home. It's sunny outside and I am stuck in this building. My week has been an itchy one..let me explain. Ever since Saturday night all I have been doing is scratching the crap out of my head, my arms and my shoulder area. I have been getting welts and all. I've been trying to figure out what the heck is causing it, it's funny though because the itching doesn't start until I get home. I had gotten after my daughter earlier this week and broke out in hives...it's her mental revenge...HA!HA!

    Angie- How is the sugar weaning doing for you? I know what you mean about the donuts and cakes...yum!yum!

    Crystal-Congratulations on your contest. KUDOS to you!!! I know what you mean about being an only child, I was one too. Oh and I feel your pain about the bathroom and water..ugh!!

    Amanda- Hope you are feeling better. The idea about walking the mall sounds like a plan, but I know what you mean about wanting to spend money. Just think only a few more weeks until your concert and your tiny clothes. You go girl!!!

  • Regina,,,are you possibly having an allergic reaction to something? I regularly get hives,,,seasonal thing...take some Benadryl if you can. And call me in the morning,,,geesh I sounded so medical didn't I? j/k but seriously could be something near your yard that is causing this. Trees/plants.

    Amanda Mae, I would say go to the mall to walk,,,no money! check out things,,,and if you see something you like,,,before your workout or after your walk go try it on,,,go one size smaller and then work out! Motivation!

    Day 4 no sugar and Im feeling great...
    ate healthy all day,,,no mishaps,,,like fire drills or dropping it onto my passenger seat. All it well..
