Remember back when I told you I think rain makes ppl stupid? Well, this morning one of my fav caterers had a 10am appt here at the building whre my office is. At 10:15 the perspective client was still a no show. He goes to get her number and I call....here she's been sitting out in the parking lot this entire time waiting for him! WTF is that all about? LMAO! She told me she was waiting for him to pull up. WHAT? The building's been open since I got here and all the lights are on too!

I have NOTHING to do til they fix whatever they have to fix here. I can't get on the system...and the window I did have up from this morning closed out so I can't do a darn thing! I wish I could just go home! :^:

Good morning. Happy Hump Day. I hope everyone had a great evening. I ended up having to stay late yesterday, so I guess I'll just have to leave early on Friday or something, LOL! I had to get done things that HAD to be done (according to some people here) yesterday before I left that I couldn't do during the day when I was having computer issues. I was so tired last night! I went home, made up a quick grocery list and went to the store. For dinner I made some Marinara Sauce (it was SO good and low in points!) and then some whole wheat pasta. I sprayed a light multi-grain english muffin with a little spray butter, sprinkled some garlic powder on it, and popped it in the oven for 'garlic bread'...and then had some pumpkin pudding for dessert. I only ate 19 of my 22 points yesterday. I wish I would've known during the day that I was going to have extras because I would've had another snack, LOL! I also got the Cheez-it "Right Bites" at the store and they are VERY good. They are SO close to the real thing. I like the Nabisco 100 calorie snack pack Cheez-its but they seem more baked.
I ended up going upstairs and getting under the electric blanket at 6:30pm!!! I watched "Good Eats" on the Food Network (my favorite channel...go figure!) and a few other shows and I found myself falling asleep at 8pm!!! So around 8:30pm I turned off the TV and went to bed. I had such a great sleep! It's no surprise that I didn't want to get up this morning because that's how it usually is...but once I was up I was fine. ROCKER: I hope you feel better! VIVA - Wow, what a long sleep! Even if I'm falling asleep I can't go to bed that early. Just can't happen! I came into work to an e-mail about a problem with this d*mn project I've been working on for the better part of this year. I'm so sick of this f*cking thing. Just be done already! So I e-mailed them back saying I didn't want to make any changes. Guess we'll see how that flies!! Didn't do too much last night. Got a good arm workout in on the Total Gym. I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow's WI...I just hope I can be good today. They're serving us free lunch today, but if it's bad, I'll just go out and get a salad. At least that's the plan. Hmmm...I guess that's about if for me for now. ROCKER - Hope you're doing well this morning. The rain's gone, so hopefully the stupid people went with it! I'll check back in later. Morning Chickies! :wave: Well it's HUMP DAY and only 2 more days til FRIDAY! WOOHOO! :carrot: I still may have to work on Sat but I don't know for sure yet.
So this morning I'm making breakfast (no, not a WW one) and was getting something out of the oven and burned the chit out of my hand! :yikes: It's all nice & red and a blister of about 1.5 inches + is forming. FIGURES! I feel a lot better today! No more :headache: for now....am so glad! Ok....am I the only one having a hard time finding the SMILIES I wanna use? Ever since they added the :) :carrot: :lol: :rolleyes:, the original ones have shifted and aren't in their usual places! :mad: Ok, guess I better get going...have to write up a request for a purchase order for those blasted refrigerators! HAve a good one.....BBL! |
I'd like to report that I got gas for $2.28 a gallon this morning on my way to work. All the other gas stations around here are still $2.58...I guess Wawa is stepping up the competition! :carrot:
