Hey Chickies....I'm back. Lost 2 pounds at WI today---lost the 1.6 I gained last week then a teensy bit more. I'm please but believe it or not a bit disappointed b/c I felt like I lost more b/c my clothes are fitting better/looser! I will take it though.
You should see these tents: BEAUTIFUL! They are still here working on them though but for the most part are done. There's stuff being put in an area I was unaware of and I told them it has to be moved Sunday morning. Of course they weren't happy about it but that's how it goes. I called the rental co and they are on board and so is the bride and coordinator, even though it will cost extra to have them come in on Sunday. When I was talking to the coordinator she said she had a problem--get this: she ordered a chocolate fountain from CA that was to be delivered to the caterer between 10-12....well they missed the deadline so me, being the WONDERFUL, NICE, SWEET person that I am said they could deliver it here as long as they came by 4:30! OMG you guys...my head is splitting and now it's spread down into my shoulders....it's all tension/stress. I stopped at Wawa on my way back to get a coffee...and yes SPILLIE I was thinking of you as I stood in line with my coffee looking at the Cowtails! LMAO! You guys would be proud though...I didn't buy any Cowtails! Gotta go....BBL! |

TWIDDLE: where near you will there still be a Strawbridges? I called my mom at lunch to tell her (she likes to shop at the one in the WG Mall) and she was pissed! I told her I would try and find out from you guys where there still might be one standing! Did anyone notice that on the OTHER thread that I got a shout out from S? Even more did you notice no one replied? I'm so tempted to go over there and post under my T name and tell them a thing or two...like the truth. Ok, am starting to wind down a little bit. Sure do wish I had a drink and a massage!....I've never had one before! |

Hey, I'm still here!! Sorry Rocker, but I'll be going to Newark airport tomorrow afternoon to pick up our friends coming back from Hawaii.
What I meant was, when they said there are 9 that are closing, they meant 9 that Macy's has to sell. The other ones in the area are all going to become Macy's. (There are more than 9 in the area - the report didn't mention the one right by me, at Neshaminy Mall.) There won't be any Strawbridge's left. Make sense? Didn't mean to confuse you! Re-reading that, I'm not sure if that makes any sense or not. I did see that shout out, too. I was quite surprised. BTW, so you guys know, the one with the new baby over there e-mailed me about what happened while she was off of the board. She said she asked C and D about it, and they didn't give too many details, but didn't say anything bad about anyone. I explained everything to her as much as I could in an e-mail, and she was okay with that. I just wanted to let you guys know... Alrighty - I'm outta here for the weekend. OMG...I almost forgot...congrats ROCKER on your loss!!!!!! Woo hoo!!! See you gals on Monday! |

Hi Chickies...don't know if any of you will be checking in this weekend or not, but I thought I'd post anyway. Today (Sat) has got to be the worst day of my life. :cry: :stress: :stress: :stress: :stress: :stress: :stress: :cry: I'm at work and it is a total nightmare here. I came in at 2pm and I'll be lucky to get out by 12:30am. I will now have to come into work tomorrow as well. My boss will most definitly be hearing form me on Monday. And Monday will be no picnic either b/c I'm sure by then this place will look freakishly messy. I will have to hear it from the rental companies about all their crap getting mixed together--which BTW, is NOT my fault.
I only slept an hour last night :tired: :tired: :tired: b/c thoughts of today were running through my mind and sure enough everything rang true and then some. S, bless her heart, has had to endure my many phone calls today trying to keep myself sane. She just called and will be bringing me a coffee and will stay for a visit shortly. I will be glad for that. I'm so tense right now that my back and shoulders are in knots. Luckily this mess will be done by 10:15 but then it will take the catering staff at least 2 hours or so to clean up and move everything around to where it needs to go. I brought my sneakers so I can be out there making sure it gets done. I have sandals on now and my feet/ankles are so swollen from earlier! Have to go. Have a great rest of the weekend everyone. I will check in on Monday if I get a chance and am able! |

I hope all had a wonderful weekend. I sure did. Again was able to relax and do really nothing. Saturday just went to the gym and then went to Oxford Valley Mall area to the Bally's out there to meet up with a friend of mine that is the manager there and he hooked my sister up with a real good deal. $249.00 for a year and no contract no monthly payments. Nice huh, wish they had that when I was joining. I have 2 years left in my contract. But you know, going to the gym is part of my life now and I don't mine having this contract with them...it keeps me going. CHICKIE, I sure hope you are doing better today. I had checked in about 4:30 on Saturday to see if you had written anything and didn't bother writing myself because I thought you would be too busy. Good morning. I can't believe the weekend is over already...that really blows! Had a good weekend although it was too short.
ROCKER & BROOK: I went into Sephora to get Jonathan's DIRT...and it's sold out nationwide. So it doesn't look like it'll be available any time in the near future :( The demand for it is very high! They had his other products but I want the DIRT! Don't forget about the reunion special. It comes on tomorrow night at 11pm and on Wednesday evening. SPILLIE - I can't walk tonight. My knee has been bugging me since last Sunday, and it's about time I actually go to the doctor about it. I hate the doctor's, so this is a huge step for me. I'm going right after work...hopefully it's not anything serious! ROCKER - Sorry your days have been so bad. You need a serious day off! How about Saturday? Around 3? We'll have plenty of booze, and if need be, we have a spare bed for ya!! VIVA - Bummer about the DIRT. And I completely agree...these weekends go way too fast!! HAPPY and BROOK - Good mornin' to you guys, too! Hope you had a good weekend! We went to see Wedding Crashers on Saturday - too freakin' funny. I highly recommend it if you need a good laugh. There were times when people were laughing so much that you couldn't hear the next lines. Don't know the last time I was at a movie like that! Alright...I've gotten delayed a bunch of times here. TWIDDLE, :( I'm sorry to hear about your knee. Get that taken care of, weren't you the one who said that you had surgery on it...please take care. I'm sad that we can't walk but it actually worked out fine, this morning my car had a flat so I guess I should take care of that tonight :dizzy: .
