Do you think TWIDDLE is in a chocolate coma? :?:

SPILLIE 11-01-2005 10:46 AM

No since she has time to post on the other place. I think she is ignoring us again!

Me too...WTF? When she finally does post, she'll say something like: "oh I've been so busy and just realized I hadn't posted here yet"     Um yeah, ok....WHATEVER! :p

46oz done....on my way to fill up for another 46! (after I make a pitstop at the ladies room! :dizzy:

VIVA~GIRL 11-01-2005 11:01 AM

OMG! I'm just getting done my first bottle... *sigh* :(

twiddle-my-thumbs 11-01-2005 11:13 AM

Actually, I've been busy drinking my water and running to the ladies room. As soon as I post on the "other place" (as you so eloquently put it), I have to go pee-pee. So there. :p

Or maybe it's just because I like them better.

In any case, the decision is that it's next Wednesday. It really shouldn't matter where...you'll be drinking the same amount no matter where we go! Do you guys want cheap casual? There are a couple of places nearby for that. We can go to Old Chicago (www.oldchicagobc.com - I think), or we can go to the Eddington House (I think). Old Chicago is on Street Road, just on the other side of Route 1 from where I live. So pretty easy off of the turnpike, or from Bustleton, or from 95. Eddington House is across Street Road from where I live, so it's a little bit closer to 95, and a little bit further from Route 1/turnpike/Bustleton, but only a little bit. Both of them are pretty much neighborhood sports bar type places, but with plenty of tables for eating.

6:30? I dunno about time...you guys tell me.

I brought all of our leftover candy into the office today, and it was scooped up in record time. Someone else brought in a bag as well, but it's still sitting in the kitchen. I took a Milky Way, since I hadn't had one, took a bite, and threw the rest out.

BTW, ROCKER, if you get kicked out, I don't know you.

SPILLIE - Sorry to hear about KoP, but I think you gotta go with the L-town job. Even though I don't want you leaving the city now that I'll be there.

VIVA - Hi.  Get to drinking!! I've had about 40 ounces so far...2 16.9 bottles, plus some of the third.

ROCKER - How are you doing with the water today? It's your challenge, you better be doing it!

SPILLIE 11-01-2005 11:22 AM

I think I've drank 8oz so far today. I have a 32oz bottle but just haven't been able to get it down. :(

Where ever you gals decide to go is okay with me, but with the strike going on, please give me some time to get there so maybe we should meet around 7:00pm. :?:

VIVA~GIRL 11-01-2005 11:23 AM

VIVA will be coming from the TURNPIKE.

I just want something GOOD for dinner.

Just let me know WhereTF I'm going!

Well apparently you aren't reading my posts too closely b/c I already posted I was done 46oz and filled up for another 46! It was the post right above YOURS, TWIDDLE! .....just in case you don't have time to go back and look: 46oz done....on my way to fill up for another 46! (after I make a pitstop at the ladies room! :dizzy:

I vote for 7pm too...I'll be coming by way of Street Road like I did on Sat. night!

VIVA~GIRL 11-01-2005 11:35 AM

:carrot: I'm not going to ask where you did your signature, ROCKER...LMFAO! :carrot:

VIVA~GIRL 11-01-2005 11:41 AM

Okay...so I mapquested to Street Road and I'm like 30 miles from there...so I'm guessing it'll take me at least an hour around that time of day to get there from where I live?

Actually...it will take me longer now that I think about it...it takes me 1 hour to get to the Wet Whistle from my house!

twiddle-my-thumbs 11-01-2005 11:47 AM

Notice while you were all yammering away at me in e-mail, I was actually busy. Posting. Here. :D

ROCKER - I'm going to ask you every time I post, whether you just posted it or not. :p

VIVA - If you mapquested it, shouldn't that tell you how long it will take? And do you have EZ-Pass? If so, it shouldn't take you much longer than usual, especially if we make it 7:00. Just know that when you're exiting the turnpike, the right lane is exit only, but the center lane does also exit (and goes straight), so you don't need to be in the backed up right lane.

Okay, let's go to Old Chicago. It's in the Holiday Inn. I posted the website above, but if you need more details than that, let me know. I can give some landmarks, since it'll be dark. I'll just need to remember to run down there sometime so I don't give you the wrong ones.

ROCKER - How's that water coming?

twiddle-my-thumbs 11-01-2005 11:49 AM

Keep in mind that Wet Whistle is on "back" roads, with traffic lights, slower speed limits, etc. This place isn't. It takes me about 40 minutes to get to the KoP mall from my house, and this will be closer than my house.

RockerChick 11-01-2005 11:53 AM

My water is coming and going just fine thankyouverymuch! :p

Old Chicago, 7pm on 11/9 it is! After you get off Bustleton onto Street Road, how far is it? Will it be on the left or right side? Is it before or after Hooter's? (which is on the right the way I'll be coming). PLEASE ADVISE.

Yes, I have EZ-PASS...but can you tell me WHY the EZ-PASS lane was backed up so much farther than the regular lanes when I was on the turnpike last week??? (around the same time) -- If I could've used the regular lane I would've! It says it'll take me 40 minutes. But Mapquest tells me it'll take me 35 minutes to get to the WW when it takes me an hour...so I never rely on their estimates!! If I did, I'd always be late!

I'll leave at 6:00pm to be on the safe side.
