How is everyone this lovely Thursday morning? I woke up this morning feeling well for the first time in such a long time I had forgotten what it felt like to not have any aches or pains first thing in the morning. (meaning I forgot what it felt like to be young) :( I did nothing last night but watch TV; DS and I watched the movie Guess Who and it was funny. I think I missed my shows this week; I thought they were on Wednesdays but they weren't on and now I'm confused as to when they are on, maybe Tuesdays. Oh well, it was nice to sit with DS and just chill. CHICKIE, nice little ditty. Thank you. I hope your feeling better or do I have to tell everyone to :sssh: again. I'm a little hungover this morning, so if you could keep it down in here, that would be great. I didn't really drink that much, but I usually get a hangover from wine if I have more than a glass or two. The dinner was good until the end...my boss had originally said he wanted to take us out, but when the check came, we all divided it. Flucker. I didn't have any $ with me because I thought he was paying. He's so flucking cheap. *sigh* SPILLIE - Glad to hear you woke up "young." Alright...I gotta try to wake up somehow...caffeine just doesn't seem to be cutting it, at least so far. Hope you all have a great day! Morning Chicklets! :wave: Well we are gonna get some gutt-busting storms today for sure!....I washed my car last night! Well, took it through the car wash that is! I vacummed it out too and when I got home finished up the inside of it! You gotta understand, I get busted on by my parents all the time b/c it's not as clean as it should be! I was expecting to come out this morning and find all 4 tires flat b/c my baby was so excited it got a bath! LMAO! :lol: I even changed my rear brake light too! (my dad had a hard time believing that when I told him last night.)
Ok, so today's the day people will be coming overhere to invade my space. I'm already in a pissy mood about it even though no one is here yet! Grrrrrrrrrr....thing that really ticks me off is they keep the front door un locked and anyone that walks in they send directly down to me. I have a chit load of work to get done and DO NOT schedule appointments during this week b/c of that and trying to get ready for the festival. I can see in my future that later today I'm gonna have to lay the law down :rollpin: so they keep the door locked this afternoon b/c there will be a xc meet here. Normally we have the building open so they can use the restrooms but I told them that it wouldn't be open this time b/c the port-o-potties are there and they can use them. Last thing I need is people streaming in and out of here for 2 hours!!!!! :mad: :tantrum: :censored: I hope we do get entertained on here today! :D I may be able to squeeze out a ditty or two but it all depends on the commotion going on upstairs. :dizzy: Am feeling good today with the exception of PMS but at least I don't have a :headache: ...yet! SPILLIE: glad you liked the ditty! LOL...was cracking mysef up when I was typing it! TWIDDLE: how bout a reg. Coke for that hangover? I can so totally relate with what your boss did. Similar thing happened to me last week except we knew we'd have to put money in BUT he neglected to tell us just how expensive of a place it was! I was ticked and the food SUCKED. The EVP as I told you is leaving after 15yrs with the company and the farewell dinner is at DAVE and BUSTERS on the 20th of this month. 1. DAVE and BUSTERS...are you kidding me? 2. I will not be able to attend I took the 20th and 21st off to prepare for DR. 3. DAVE and BUSTERS...are you flucking kidding me? You would think that after 15yrs with the company and bringing in all that business; which he did quite well and implemented many different strategies and made many contacts and well lets just say I think the guy is getting a bum deal. :mad: |

It's not a matter of not liking DAVE and BUSTERS; it's a matter of they should be taking him out to a classier place after 15yrs.
BTW, I think thats the salad I had when I went about 1 1/2 ago; it is AWESOME! |
