Made it throught the night without touching one chocolate covered pretzel. I am so proud of myself. :D Went to :ebike: last night then went home and vegged in front of the sofa watching C.S.I. and Without A Trace. That was all she wrote. I hope everyone had a wonderful, restful, and quiet evening as well. It was so :hot: out last night though and we had to turn on the fan in the window just to be able to sleep. My DH said I was going through menopuase because he wasn't :hot: at all. I hate him. :dz: Well off to get my :coffee2: and start doing some actual work. Morning Chickies! :wave: I feel and look like chit today....damn PMS, sinuses & weather! :mad: Anyway, woke up at 4am and have been up ever since. Did a little cleaning, wrote out bills-went to the post office to mail them out, went to Wawa to get gas, went to DD to get coffee, came home--showered and got ready for work, went to Walmart to pay my bill and do some shopping and I STILL was here by 8am!
Well it might be a wash out :rain: for this weekend's festival. They'll make a decision sometime today about tomorrow and I guess sometime tomorrow for Sunday if we get to that point. The inflatable dudes are here already getting their stuff out. Shortly there will be people over here yet again working on stuff...although I don't know what the point is b/c of the rain. Anyway, by lunch time there will prolly be about 20 people here to eat. It's a tradition we all have lunch overhere. BLECH. Everyone brings something....or they are SUPPOSED to but it usually ends up only a select few and those that do put $$$ out NEVER get reimbursed and they're too stupid to ask. I keep telling this person she's NUTZ for doing it year in and year out but I might as well save my breath. She also supplies the alcohol for after the festival to which NO ONE chips in for. AGAIN, she is foolish but it's not my $$$ being put out so I guess it doesn't matter. Some even include their entire family which I don't think is right--ends up being 6 ppl just from one guy. GRRRRR. I am so out of it lately and I know a big part of it is b/c I'm not OP and haven't been for quite sometime now. I don't know what it is but I just can't seem to get back on track. Now with my parents coming this weekend I know this will come up and I'm dreding it. I will just have to be as polite as I can about this to them. ACK! Fluckin phone won't stop ringing with vendors wanting to know about tomorrow! Thing is they prolly won't make any decisions for a bit. To top it all off, 4 golf carts are getting delivered here this morning and they'll have to be put into the ballroom--where the **** are we supposed to eat now? Can't go outside b/c of the rain! GAHHHHHHHHHHHH! I think I might leave at lunch and go home for that hour. I need to hit the produce store on the way. I dunno. Maybe I'll do that earlier. I apoligize for all this negativity, I really do. I'm just so damn frustrated with everything in my life right now! Hi to EVERYONE...have a great day and I'll try and get back here soon! PS) I bought 2 big bags of those Amoroso club rolls for today's lunch. Whatever is left over is going back home w/me and if anyone thinks they are taking them, THEY'RE WRONG! :mad: I can use them while my parents are here--dad loves those kinds of rolls! |

I'm in Philly today...gotta love bomb scares on the one stinkin' day I'm taking the train in. *sigh* SPILLIE - I would've said something, but I packed my lunch for 3 reasons...to be healthy, to save money, and because if it's raining I don't want to go outside at all. ROCKER - Good luck with everything today and this weekend. VIVA - When do you leave? Wednesday? I'm not sure why Wednesday is sticking in my head... Not much going on here. I had a good workout last night. Went for an hour on the treadmill...ran/walked a 5K, and then walked the rest of the time. I was pretty happy. Then I worked out a little on the Total Gym...gotta get this belly and arms back in shape. Guess that's it for me for now. Hope you all have a great day, and if I don't get back in later, have a fantabulous weekend! GO PENN STATE!!!!!!!! |

Thanks Twiddle....just found out everything's postponed til Sunday & they will make a decision by 3pm tomorrow for Sunday if it's still raining.
Guess I better sign off too....I may sneak out a couple minutes early so I can get to the stores before everyone gets off work! I have Monday off (paid holiday) and will be coming in later on Tues since I have to work Tues night. Have a good one and GOOD NIGHT!
