I woke up with a migraine at 4:30 this morning. That is one of the friends that TOM sometimes brings to my house. So I didn't go into work until noon today and felt sick to my stomach almost all day. I've barely made it over the 1000 calorie mark and didn't make my minimum protein requirement but I'm not going to worry about it today.

Mom-if you want to keep the weight off over the long haul, you have to stop thinking about it as a diet, and start thinking about it as a way of life. That is why we have all lost and regained weight so many times before-this has to be forever. Hope that isn't too depressing.

I learned PSP just by playing with it.. there are a lot of tutorials online... just google psp tutorial.. and u are right this is for ever.. tho I must say its nice to be able to tell when i am really hungry now.. and to be able to eat my meals and be satisfied... I actually have to stop and make myself eat now... what do they say? "do u live to eat" or "do you eat to live" :hungry:

Howdy All,
It is almost TGIF..I have actually enjoyed this week because I could focus on me and workout everynight. Now I am trying to figure out how to get to the gym most days next week. I love it there. LOL I told Dave tonight..exercise is addictive. LOL I did the dreadmill, eliptical,bike and then added a little stair stepping in it..I only could do that about 5 minutes but that is 5 more than I did yesterday. I have noticed since I have started exercising I have increased my times some and I am not so winded going up and down the stairs! I also managed to swim tonight...and did 5 laps...needed the arm work out. LOL I sweated gallons so the pool felt GOOD! I would of tried more but I ran out of time nad had to pick up M at VBS.

Hope everyone is on track and doing well. I weigh in on Saturday and looking forward to it.. I KNOW I loss this week...anything will be a blessing.

WEll..I am tired and heading for my pillow.

TGIF.. lol tho i will be working tomorrow also.. Today some of the girls from work and I are gonna go check out that new ladies workout express.. my budget is tight but i guess i can pinch a few more pennies to be able to afford it...

isnt it funny the small things that can excite u .. i had to go buy new panties cuz mine were fallin down.. lol and a new bra that fits also!

29 pounds doesnt seem like a lot .. when i look at my goal but , then i look at my dog who weighs 40 lbs and think its almost like carrying him around all day..

Everyone enjoy your day.. just want to tell everyone that your support has been such a blessing!!!

Making myself post. Not that I don't enjoy it, but I'm still working on this "fake it 'till ya make it" thing. I do manage to post a journal entry most days.

I managed to pack two bags today: One full with a complete workout outfit (including my geek gear) and one that's HUGE and full of like four HUGE bottles of water and some fruit, one pepper and some rice cakes. I'll be brief, but the story is, I got tired of comments here at work and vowed NOT to eat here (or in front of anyone) ever again. No one intentionally MEANT to be cruel and I truly know that it's just ME being overly sensitive. But anyway, this place is a "ghost town" during the summer, so I may sneak a snack HERE rather than waiting until I'm in my car like I normally do. My plan is to hit the outdoor track just before midnight (I get off work at eleven-thirty). Facing the stale, stinky, hot and smelly gym after my "fall off of the wagon" seemed too daunting a task to pull off. So although I know it's not the safest thing to be out there in the dark and so isolated, it's what I want to do (the outdoor track). I have my cell phone, I have a whistle and if I have to, I'll take a weapon ;) . The battery in my WW pedometer went dead and I didn't bring a watch, so I have no idea how I'll measure how long or how far I walk, but I guess I'll let my lazy turtle butt be the judge. I just hope I don't whimp out and change my mind before the end of my shift.

I would post to everyone individually, but my entry is already so long, self serving and boring that I ought to delete it :( I do tend to ramble on once loosed on a thread.

Curlylocks Very cute dog. Great job on the pound lost (and 29 total) and cheers to the new under dungies. Small things like that excite me too. Doesn't take much to make me squeal, but I figure that makes me easy to buy for.

MomX3 Congrats on getting an eliptical (I'm on the rain check list for K-Mart, but I doubt they'll call now, been too long) and AWESOME JOB on the 6#'s!!

This site has been pretty slow. Wake-Up Chickies. I know, I know it's hard when life gets in the way. ;) I hope everyone is doing well this Friday. I did my 3 mile WATP abs this morning. Felt pretty good. Anyone else have that one? My feet are still hurting 'cause I'm not giving them any time off :devil:.
If they are going to be mean to me I'm going to be mean to them. :mad: Actually I am so scared that if I take any time off I won't want to come back. So instead of taking time off I am pushing harder. I really, really want that surgery. :s:

Curly - I don't cook. I have never been any good at it so I leave that to DH. He can make something out of nothing. I'm not worried about gaining back this time 'cause I am making healthier choices for me instead of some crash diet like I have always done before. This is for life :D.

Petra - I hope you are feeling better today :goodvibes. What you said is what I have been trying to say. This is my way of life now and I have come to terms with that. I am not constantly thinking "when I'm done with this I am going to have me some cake". I have not thought that at all this time so what I'm doing is working for me. Finally!!!!

Clipclop - you must be busy studying. Take a break and come say hi :wave:.

Lisa - I have also noticed myself doing more. After Curves yesterday I did the elliptical for 30 minutes and the treadmill for another 30. I felt really good when I was done. :D

Hotcup - I like the "fake it till you make it" motto. I am just so happy you came back to us. You can say what ever you want. We have all been in the same place as you are right now but don't worry you will get back on. You are a strong lady. Look at all you have been through with your weight loss. You can do this but do it at your own pace. You are the only person that knows what you can handle. Just remember You Are Worth It. :flow2:

Guess what??? I did it.. I went to the orientation... and signed up this evening for ladies fitness express!!! i am guessing its like curves.. u go from machine to machine when the music tells u to!

I have to admit i was feeling leary of heading into a fitness place.. but I just concentrated on the instructions they were giving me for each machine... and I loved it!!!! wooo hooo!

I even got a free t-shirt... and the lady that runs the place is a registered nurse! wow i am excited .. she really was a great motivator! and she watched and made sure i was using the machines correctly...

I am so glad that i finally went!!!

Hello everyone!! Hope all is well!!

I lost 7 pds this week!!! Hello 270's goodbye 280's! Woohoo!! I can't believe it!! I love TOM I lose weight while on it and then a lot after it!! Woohoo!!

Last night we were in a parade. My DH drives a concrete truck and he drove it and we all threw out candy it was so fun!!

Howdy PIC Friends!!!!!!

Well..I am EXHAUSTED! Mallissa is EXHAUSTED...Dave is EXHAUSTED! Tonight was the end of VBS. They had a pool party at one of the outside community pools. I never knew it was there. LOL Our city is not real big. I was a nice pool but becuase we had storms in the area they kicked us out after only a 1/2 hour. The kids were disappointed. M's buddy went with her. On the way home we stopped by DQ...for ice cream. Yes, I had one.. I probably shouldn't have but I hadn't used any flex points this week and I had 41 exercise points which I only used 1/2 of them.. I know they have to be used on the day they were earned..but still.. I cheated today and weighed myself at work..so I am still exspecting a loss tomorrow even with the ice cream. I am also going to work out in the morning after WI. Tonight after Dave goes to bed..I am doing Richard Simmons. It is the only thing that will make me feel better from eating the ice cream. LOL

Sunshine! WOW! 7lbs..that is AWESOME! I exercised my butt off this week and I only exspect about 3lbs. I am hoping the ice cream don't effect that.

Curlylocks: I love going to the gym. Next week with normal schedule it is going to be harder to get to go. I am hoping I can go on Tuesday nights and one other night and of course on Saturday to start off my week right. I figured I can walk while M is at gymnastics and on the weekends bike ride with her.

momx3: I haven't tried the WATP. Maybe try some exercise like bike riding that is not so hard on your feet. The elliptical does kick butt.. I might change my routine some and start on that first. LOL I normally do the treadmill first. Dave is having trouble with his right now...his ankles are swelling badly and he says they hurt.

Clipclop: keep your eye on the prize! Your degree will be worth being stuck in side on a beautiful day. I also have a 3 day weekend next week and I am really looking forward to it!

Hotcup: I take my headphones to the gym. I rarely talk to anyone. LOL I am isolated..it is just me and the treadmill or what other machine I am on. I have to put a towel over the time or I will obsess about it. Most that come to the gym at the Y do the same. I wave or say hi to some people (like Mallissa's swim teacher or a lady I see all the time at the pool) but other than that I am anymous and I like it that way. We have the high school over the footbridge and I have thougth about going to the track but it is out of the question with my schedule. I know my feet and legs pounding the payment wouldn't be that good. I am glad you are back and you can do this!

Petra: I have only had 3 migranes in my life and that was enough. Mine come from lack of sleep! Which I am feeling tonight!! Have fun on our trip..is it this weekend or next?
