awwww I love kitties! We had 5, but are now down to 2. If hubby had his way I think we would adopt every one that is featured in the weekly local paper by the humane society. When the oldest is gone, I'm thinking of a puppy. After having to give my dog away years ago cuz I couldn't find a rental that would accept dogs, I swore I'd never get one til I owned a home.... it's time! A lil Chocolate Lab *nods* or a Vizsla. i dunno... hopefully Annie my older cat will be around a while longer.

Happy Sunday to everyone!!!!

Red face Hello

Hi Chickies! How goes it with you and and your Sunday evenings?

Love the kitty photos, Curly. What sweeties!

Paid all my bills, had lunch at Subway, went to Barnes & Noble to order my Barenaked Ladies DVD by using my gift certificate card (I only had to add $4.46 of my own money) then went grocery shopping. The Barenaked Ladies DVD has to be shipped to my house instead of the store for some weird reason. But as long as I get it...
We were supposed to clean house and move furniture today, but so far... all we've done is run around all over town, play on line and watch TV. Ooops.

I want in on this Turkey challenge, I really do. I'm just not sure how to start. I'd like to request a motivational kick in the pants, please. Don't hold back, I'm tough, I can take it (aim low I'm pretty short... just don't hit my knee). I'm tough, yeah, but I just can't seem to get my feet back under me. I'm thinking step one would be to plan something out, step two: give up drinking so much diet pop. Yadda yadda yadda Any suggestions?

Default Yes, I am up at this hour of the morning

My dogs don't realize we changed the clocks, so they came to rustle me out of bed at 5 am. However, they are confused because I let them out but I didn't feed them breakfast yet.

When I woke up this morning, I was wishing I hadn't walked on that treadmill yesterday. My ankle isn't feeling so good today. I should get my elastic brace for it finally and that should help. If I get home from work in time, I will try to go to pilates. That doesn't usually bother my feet.

Turtle-my suggestion is that you make a small doable goal for yourself like 5 lbs or less so you don't get overwhelmed.

I think the is about to hit the fan over on the biggest loser forum. I think this is the longest gap in posts from the person calling herself "Jillian Michaels" and I don't think it is a coincidence. It will be interesting to see how the moderators handle this. Right now it looks like they are hoping this will fizzle out on its own, and maybe it will.

Hey Ladies,
busy weekend here. I had my WI, I'm down .6 but I can't move my tracker yet. ahhh....this week I want to do better. I was totally about getting on the right track, and then I messed up last night. I don't know why, I went shopping and it was like I wanted to taste some of everything I had just bought. that is so weird and so bad. all in all, I had a bite of a Luna bar, a few of these bread kind of things that are made out of brown rice, hummus, and some birthday cake that was left over. I think the cake is what did it for me. ahhh, I wish my sister would just throw that thing away.
Anyway, today is a new day, oatmeal and an apple for breakfast, and I brought some ratatouille, and some of those mini quiche kind of things that curly gave us the recipe for, I made them with eggs, veggie sausage, cheese, onion, and peppers. They are very yummy together. I really want to get under 200 but I just feel like I am sabotaging my self every week.
I skipped out on the jog this morning, I looked at my log, an I haven’t taken a break from exercise for 2 weeks straight. I’m going to try and do something light tonight, like yoga or Pilates.
I hope everyone has a good Halloween. I am scared of all the candy my son is going to get. I might try and convince him to leave it at my parents.

Happy Halloween Everyone!!

A BIG thank you to Curly for the avatar...I LOVE IT, its absolutely perfect. I cannot make it stay animated on this site...but it is beautiful.

How is everyone today? Looks like everyone so far really did great with the Spooktacular Halloween Challenge and is ready to buckle down for the Turkey-Takeoff... I actually sat down last night and planned out what to eat for today. I can't do the whole week, cuz it'll freak me out So, one day at a time....baby steps.

I actually managed to eat half of a bagle with fat-free veggie cream cheese (I knew it was bagel day at work for halloween from the boss...so I planned for it). I filled up the 64-ouncer full of water....sipping as I go.

I feel good today, really good. I have passed up the cookies, and baked bars with the butterscotch ships, and the gummy worm chocolate cake, and the carmel apples, and the chocolate chip cookies, and the chocolate and peanut-covered pretzels, and gave my treatsy bag of chocolate from the boss to my neighbor to hide in her purse and take home (she is a skinny whip of a thing...but she also is so supportive to me).

I even measured the 1 teaspoon of powdered creamer for my coffee. WHOO-HOO.

Watch out, cuz I'm going to be dropping some of this junk in my trunk on the Highway to Health.

L2L is back... and I feel my sense of humor coming back....

This afternoon I will Dance My Pants Off....

but for now, I must return to cube life and type

Have a wonderful day my fellow PICs. ((Hugs))

Morning Ladies!! This has to be really quick because I am at work but I wanted to update you all on my weight this morning so you will know where I am for the Turkey Take-Off. My weight this morning was 199.6 so I am rounding up to 200. It was nice to see that 1 in front though!!!

Red face Monday (it's my Sunday)

About to change my weight (up to the sad gain as of late) tracker. And then we're tearing into our cleaning and furniture rearranging. I even bought cleaning supplies and organizational tools. Gotta run. Gotta change that tracker.

A shout out to all my PIC Diva Chicks.
L2L I'm right back with YOU!

Hey Pic's!!! How is everyone today? I see alot have already popped in before starting their day. I weighed in today and had to blink my eyes....I thought I was seeing a mirage....hehe, I lost 6 lbs!!!! Couldn't believe it!!!, but YES ITS TRUE!!! That makes my spooktackular total for 19.5 lbs!!!! BOOOYAAAA!!!!!! My turkey takeoff goal is going to be a nice well rounded 6 lbs, as it is one month. Hope everyone has a great time tonight if you're dressing up or just taking the kids out. Stay out of the goodies though!!!

Petra.....Say it isn't so? Could have an imposter been trying to be the real Jillian? thats SCANDALOUS!!! LOL.... Hope not. And if it is? no big whoop, I still enjoy the book and the workouts.

Well ladies, I'm having a quiet afternoon. Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone. I came home a little early and have to pray my pager doesn't go off again before 4:30.

Mom-Congrats!!! You are the first to make it to 200. I'm right behind you. Hoping it will be this week.

Angel- 16 lbs! You are on fire girl! Must be all those Winning by Losing workouts.

L2L and Turtle-glad to have you both back and committed to yourselves. One day at a time is the only thing we have. Sometimes we have to take it one hour at a time.

Well my luck just ran out ladies. I have to run back to the hospital! Hopefully I'll get home in time to go to pilates but right now I"m not sure.

Hi Pic's!

Happy Halloween!!!

I can't wait to get my first trick or treater!

Congrats to everyone loosing weight! You all are doing great!

Unfortunatly today was my weekly weigh in and I was up a pound. It's really fustrating because I was good last week staying right around 1400 calories a day. Maybe it's because of my period. Not a good day to have a setback with that candy staring me in the face. I'll stay strong though!
