Hi my name is sarah and "akrosey" is my mom. Not sure if I am doing this right! I am "soooo" very tried and have never been on a chat sight before. Took me awhile to find you and hope I can find it again!! So I am sorry if I make any error's... Mom want you to all know she is in the hospital. It was a surprized to me, because she has been in and out, due to the very good drugs she on. And this sight seemed pretty imporant to her. She had a very bad gullbadder removed, and is lucky she is alive at this time. Not trying to scared any one, but it was pretty bad! It almost ruptured and has infected her liver. Thank god dad brought her in, as I live 5 hour away. She had a terrible upset tummy tuesday night, that wouldn't go way. Any who..... the rupture would of caused a bleed in her liver and that would of caused death. Scared the heck out of all of us!!! She has a 18 in. incision across her belly with many layers of stiches and staples. She is on a breathing tube, long with many other tube's and thing's everywhere. Looks pretty scarey and is very pale! We are having trouble with her lungs right now( 84% without oxygen and it should be 100%) and has a temp. today! So they have her on pure oxygen. I am very scared. There fearing a infection now, due to her weight and the presure on her lungs, also it is so hard for her to get up and get moving. This get's the system going and helps her lungs, along with all the rest of her body. She's so brave. I don't think I could do as well as she trying!!! It's gotta hurt so bad. I feel so much for her right now. It make's me want to cry. But she was up three times today. Which is so good. The good new's is they moved her out of ICU and into a new room. The doctor said, it going to be a long ride. So will see. Dad and I hated leaving her tonight, but it's been three nights with no sleep and dad with his bad back should only be up on his feet a couple hour. And has done way to much also. He is supose to be on bed rest. He's in a lot of pain too. There really two pea's in a pod right know! I guess when it rains, it poor's!!! Any how, she is in good hands. And she wanted us to go any ways. "TOO" many mother hen's around her! Plus I think we were bugging the hospital staff with our present~how ever, I could care less about that! She my mom and I love her. Anyways I should be sleeping right now but can't! I hope this letter does not scared the heck out of you all. But you must of been special for her to ask! So thank you for all your suport on this sight. I have heard her talk about you all offen. And I know she enjoys it. I will try to up date you all when I can. If all goes well they said, a week to 10 day's in the hospital. I know she want to write you all when she can! take care, Sarah

Sarah thank you so much for filling us in. We were all concerned that she hasn't been on here in a few days. I will be praying for her speedy recovery and I know it has to be scarry for you all. We appreciate and care for your mom so much and she's been so supportive of each one of us.

Yall add my grandpa to your list of prayer as well. He was attacked by a swarm of yellow jackets today and he's allergic to them. My grandmother was able to get 2 benadryl tablets in him. He nearly smothered to death on the way to the ER. He is expected to come home later today and will be fine. Dr said if it weren't for the benadryl, it wouldn't have been such a good outcome. It helped some. my DH went and found the bees. They were like a huge tornado coming up out of the ground. He sat a gas can near there to mark the spot and is going to try to go back tonight when they all should be in the hole and pour the gas on them. I hope he kills them.

Summer i hope you have a ball today. I'm looking foward to hearing all about it and hope you can show us a picture of you too!

Hello Everyone...its raining here..damp and cold..I have a Doctors appointment at 4:45 for Jim ..He sugar is not coming down like it should..I hope that the Doctor can give him new meds to help..

Rosey...I am praying for you my Dear Sweet friend.. I hope that you start feeling better real soon..Thank you Sarah so very much for letting us all know about our Dear Rosey.. I wil be praying for her everyday.. I hope you can let us all know how she is doing.. Dana.. I hope that you Grandfather feels better real soon.. He was so lucky that your Grandmother gave him that Benedryl to take.. Bee stings can be life threating.. Hi Everyone...I'm the other daughter of Roseys'. My name is Laura! Nice to meet you all. I hear so much about you all. You've all made a huge difference in my moms life and happiness. Thank you for that! Her is an update: She is doing much better and is getting around quite well. Her doctors are all pleased with her progress and she may be able to come home within the next two or three days!! Yay!!! I got a pedometer last week $10.00 and can't figure the darn thing out...it seems like it counts a lot of steps when I am not stepping that much. My DH says you are walking more steps taht you think...but man it seems liek too much. I have the little button in the middle between teh + & - any advice would be great..
Up .6 this past week...uugh! what is the deal... I know I am too busy to focus 100% of the time on my points..probably eating too many...NEED to buckle down and get back on track...to meet my goal..
We have SNOW>>>like gangs busters.. Winter is here..
Well just wanted to say hey and thanks for hanging onto me even though I don't have the time to write daily..

Hello Laura..I am so happy to hear that Rosey is doing better..Thats wonderful..Please tell her that I am praying for her speedy recovery and I cant wait to talk to her..Tell her that I miss her..but I know she needs time to get better and I know that she will be here soon talking to all of us..Rosey has been a blessing to me as a friend..I am so very happy to have her for a friend..She had brought so much sunshine in my life..She is a wonderul person and friend to us all....Please give her lots of Love from me..

Have no fear, I am here!I am so sorry I have been absent. There has just been so much going on with Elena and medicine management that it's been over-whelming. I had to pick her up from school this morning because she was just "out of it". The teacher could not do anything with her. Her doctor yesterday is looking to find another doctor for another opinion because she has ran out of ideas to help Elena. There is so much going on with her we can't narrow it down to just one thing. I just came home from a Mary Kay Cosmetic party at my sister's house. I wasn't going to go but Jim talked me into going. I did buy things I needed and found it much cheaper than Estee Lauder which I usually like to buy.
Tomorrow is my weigh in day. I sure hope I'll be able to attend my bible study because that would mean that Elena was able to go to school.
Rosey, I'm so thankful and relieved that you are getting better. You have been heavy on my heart and prayers.

My aunt and uncle live in San Diego and I had to call them last night because of those awful fires. Fortunately, their apartment is fine but she said you can't breathe outside with all the ash and smoke. I feel so bad for those people who have lost their homes.
Well, I will post this now and get caught up with other things I wasn't able to do since I was "homeschooling" today.

Hi evryone..i am finally home.. with the help from all your prayers and the excellent hospital staff and the love of my family..im very sore and move like a turtle but the infections are gone and liver tests are normal now.. am sorry i scared everyone me included.. i ididnt have alot of symptoms and it came on fast..i was so sick but bounced back fast..i guess im a tuff old lady..the sad thing is my dh is now in the hosp himself..but the drs. wanted me home to recover so my girls and dh brother and family are pitching in to help..it wrenched me to leave him but i need to concentrate on my self right now..i cannot say thanks enough for your prayers cuz it worked ..here i am.. a living miracle..yayyyyyyy..and so glad to be home.. i will keep you posted and read up on all your posts but for now im headed for bed..rosey

Hello Everyone... Its been a dreary day here rain off and on.. I have been busy getting enrolled in ther Diabetes and Nutrition classes..I cant beleive that we cant start one untill December..They have day classes now but Jim cant go to them cause he is going back to work and the Dr wants him to attend..so the night ones arent available intill December..so thats that..

Rosey....WELCOME HOME..I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE HOME AND DOING WELL.. We all are so happy you are doing good.. I know that you must be real soar and you must take it easy and take care of you.. I wish I could be there to help you.. I am sorry to hear about Steve.. It was so nice to talk to you on Messenger last night..I am sorry that you are having probs with Elena..Poor Little Girl ..I hope that the Dr's can help her with something that works for her..It must be so hard for all of you..I agree about those poor people in California..It was so scarey watching that on TV.. Rosey it's wonderful to see your posts and I"m glad you are finally home as well. What happened to your DH to get in the hospital as well? Were you both in there at the same time? That's just awlful. I hope the both of you get better real soon especially with the holidays fast approaching.

Summer that's terrible that you have to wait that long to have that diabetes class but if there's ever any questions, just please ask away. I think I can help you out some. If not, I have loads of books and stuff with the answers. You just really have to watch all the carbs in foods and not only the sugar in sweets and drinks. How is his sugar since adding glucophage?

Donna I sympathize with you and elena. Does she go to therapy sessions for anything? Like to talk to someone and you be behind the 2 way mirror and see what she says? I have heard of that with children with ADD and ADHD. I believe for the most part that she doesn't even realize how she's behaving. I do hope that a different dr. can help you though. Is changing schools part of her problem maybe from last year? Hope you were able to attend bible study today. Good luck on the weigh in as well.

I have been weighing on wednedays for 4 weeks straight and had been losing fractions at a time but this week I gained 4 pounds. I've even been walking 3/4 mile a day and increased it to 1 mile today. I'm hoping that maybe it's due in part to muscle gain or something. I'm not giving up just yet anyway so we'll see.

Sheree I emailed you some info. on the pedometer. I hope that helped a bit. It's just what I do with it anyway.

I don't know if yall recall me telling yall about a lady at our church named Patty back in the spring? She was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor back then. The news fluctuated from bad to good over time but she lost her battle lastnight. I believe she was only 41 but not real sure until they put her death in the paper tomorrow. She was a fighter and was really ready to go. She faced death 4 times in the last 6 months but came through each time. Last week they gave her 2 weeks to 2 months and she lasted 1 week. I know she's at peace now but thought i would mention it to yall if you remembered. Donna it makes me think of Wendy and Scott. Have you heard how the girls have done since losing their mom?

Well anyway, I need to hop up from here but wanted to check in on rosey and let you all know that nothing is really going on here much. Just walking everyday and eating the house. Hope you all have a good evening.
