Oh Rosey I'm sorry about your snow not sticking and becoming a real big slippery but beautiful mess. Just teasing.

DH discovered that he had a shortage on his fuel pump relay in the blazer. He had already bought the new relay but realized it was a loose wire that cause it to fire up or not.

In other news: Ebay suspended my account indefinately due to me having 2 accounts. They were both linked to the same paypal account and evidently they don't allow that. Sometimes I used one just for bidding but mostly used my newer one only. They said in the email if you want them to reconsider to reply to the email to get a list of things you have to do to requalify. I replied to it but haven't heard from them. I had tried to sell some insulin syringes the other day and they ended up stopping that auction and said it was against the rules but there was a page of others who had them up for bid. I had emailed them to see what the difference was but never heard a word. They don't have anyway of communicating except for the email. It's a real bummer cause I was doing well. I even put some of laken's clothes that looked good but was too small on there friday. I hope it gets cleared up.

Anyway, I need to take my bath. It will be bedtime real soon and school tomorrow. I probably will go walking. I don't know if I had mentioned that I walked last wed. and thurs. but friday my shins were too sore to walk. So I need to go back tomorrow. I had won and paid for a weight watchers pedometer if I get it. I am anxious to see how many laps around this one track is a mile. The other one that I've walked at is marked out so you know how far you've been but the Oktoberfest just wrapped up there today so they have carnival rides and mess probably most of the week and you can't go walking.

Well anyway, I hope you all had a good weekend. I need to get the ball rolling for another long week coming up and hopefully at least 1 more x-mas present this week. I'd really like to be halfway there before nov. starts. I'm leaving our kids last. I want to finish everyone elses first. Have a good monday.

I walked today for 6 laps which equals .71 of a mile. Gradually working my way up to a mile. I'm going to alternate tracks once Sertoma Field is cleaned up from the festival they had over the weekend. Anyway, nothing going on here but house cleaning. Sorry that I didnt post on Sunday..I was trying to get some things done since I have been sick things are a mess....Jim trys Bless his heart but still I need to get somethings done..Which I did...I am feeling soooo much better since being on the new meds..They are doing the trick.. I go back to the Dr..in a couple weeks..to be checked .. I know that I will be 100%..cause I almost feel that now.. All my Meds will be finished by Saturday..Thank-You To ALL OF YOU for sending such kind well wishes for me...They worked..:..I appreciate them so very much..

I hope this gets straighten out real soon..Did you watch the race Sunday..Jim is not a happy camper that Jeff Gordon won..any-body but him..Jim does not like his attitude with the fans..Thats another story..I hope that the wire on the Blazer is all that it needs to work..as you have had your share and then some with that truck..WAY TO GO on your walking.. Donna..What a sweet thing to say..Thank-you..How have you been doing.. How was the Bible study Brunch.. I bet it went great and they loved the food you prepared..Sounds like you are on your way to Christmas shopping.. I havent did any yet.. This will be the first Halloween we will not be home..Jim does not want to be tempted with candy..so we are going to the mall..I am giving my neighbor some candy I bought for the children from us.. I just couldnt have nothing for them although I understand how Jim feels..He has to ajust to all of this first..Candy is just too tempting right now.....His sugar has been up and down..Its really wierd..I know that you will miss Jim when he starts all those long hours..but like you said extra money for Christmas..My Jim is going back to work November 2...It will seem strange after 7 months of him being home..Have a great week.

Ladies, sorry did not post much last weekend. It was not a good weekend for this household. Anyway, that's in the past and today was a better day.
Tonight Jim and I are going to a concert by the Christian artist Michael W. Smith and Mercy Me. I have a baby sitter which I have never used before so this will be interesting but I need to find one so we can go out together more.
Dana, sorry that ebay is giving you a hard time. I hope by now you received some kind of response on the syringes and being reinstated. I would think it's more of a protection to the buyers kind of thing because there is so much fraud that it ends up hurting the good/honest sellers like yourself.
Daphne and Kris I miss hearing from you two and Sheree too.
Glen, sorry you gained but that's to be expected with Turkey Day isn't it? I dread it. LOL
Summer, so glad you are feeling better! I don't blame you to get out of dodge for Halloween but around here the mall would not be the place to go because all the trick or treaters will be out there getting candy as well. Maybe you could go to see a movie? How long have you treated yourself to that or are you two movie goers?

ME well busy as you can tell..I can't even remember when I posted last...I only have a minute as it is..
THe hosue is not done until Dec or Jan time frame...still living in the A frame.. teaching, being a maid, mom and wife is a full time job around here...
yes I have lost weight but not much..I had a fluke of a week a month back and gained 6 yes SIX lbs for no reason...then lost 4 the next week and another 1.8 and another 1.8 so now am down to 165! I will post my updates after this Thursdays weigh in...

I did a few years ago and had to have an emergency gallbladder surgery...it is NOT healthy..yes you will loose at a faster rate that WW but you will gain it all back and it is not a good way to lose weight even though the world is IN LOVE with it...it is because they are loosing at a faster rate...hey do you go to a meeting to have a WW leader encourage you weekly??? It helps me a lot..I am sorry I have to go and don't have time to chat more..

Hello Everyone..its been a very busy day here today..Alot of catching up on phone calls and mails..Unreal.. I am getting my house in shape too..Tomorrow will be a big cleaning day.. I am having a lady over to help me cause I need to do baseboards and heavy-duty cleaning..since being sick and unable to do things its has backed up and need to get it done and alot of othere things windows etc..so I will be real busy.. I cant believe how late it is now..I have been on the pooter for so long today and this evening..
We are playing the Moose Hallowen dance on Saturday..WAH-HOOOOO..They called today and pleaded with us to play..as if we had another gig LOL..but I was so glad to get it and so glad I was not sick anymore so I am able to do it..

I wanted to just say Hi and check in with all of you..as I know that all of you are busy ladies and have alot to do everyday..

Donna I'm envious of you living so close to the Bilo center. Wasn't that where the concert was going to be? I grew up listening to michael w smith. his song "friends" was our class song as well. But I like Mercy Me even more. People are making such a huge deal over "I can only imagine" but my favorite one is "Word of God Speak". They are both beautiful but I just like that one even more. I like what it says. Let me know how it turned out. I can't get to greenville for concerts during the week with school and all.

Summer it's great to hear from you. Sherry too! I got the ebay thing straightened out and i"m back in "business" now. I got me a new printer today. I think this is like the 14th one in 3 years and i"m not kidding. I don't know why they always tear up on me. Dh was going to buy me a lexmark for $35 from walmart over the weekend. This is lexmark as well but it was $55 for the all-in-one which is what I had 2 printers ago. But it was HP. Anyway I thought it was a great deal. DH hasn't noticed yet but it was funny that Brett came in and noticed a pack of paper. He said mama why do you have copy paper with no copier? I said it's also printer paper. And he said "but yours is.... and looked up and noticed I had a new one.

Kris I may be in Huntville. AL the end of march. Is that far from you? I've never been to alabama but 5th grade is planning a 3 day trip to Chattanooga, TN and then onto AL. I have to work out something for my other kids in order for me & him to get to go and if they get enough that can pay the $$.

Well anyway, hi to all of you. I need to get ready for a bath myself and get my clothes out for in the morning. I've been walking on 2 different track for most part of a week now. I weighed last wed. morning and this week and lost 1.5 pounds so I'll take that as a start. I got my WW pedometer and it came with a booklet called Let's Walk with a plan in it broken up to about 5 weeks. How far you should walk and in what amount of time and such. I'm actually walking too fast for what it says but it's exercise.

Anyway, I hope you all have a fabulous thursday.

Hi guys so sorry I did not post yesterday. After returning home from the field trip with Elena's class to Charlotte NC where we went to the Discovery Place I was so very tired that I went to bed. I didn't think the trip would wear me out so bad but I was extremely fatigued and went to bed and even after I woke up this morning and took Elena to school I went back to sleep on the couch. I know now why... TOM!
The concert Tuesday night was so good! IN fact, there was a surprise guest. Have you heard of Amy Grant? She came and sang a few songs plus was promoting her Christmas concert with her husband Vince Gill. Elena enjoyed her baby sitter and went to bed fine at 8 for her. Too bad this sitter is moving in a couple of weeks. Trying to type with a cockatiel on my wrist is difficult so bear with me. LOL
Dana, even though I do live close to the Bilo Center I do not go much. This concert was only the second time I've been there. Usually the price of tickets are so high and even this was higher than I usually pay but we were not able to make it to the Christmas concert last year and my sister said it was one of the best concerts she had ever been to. So, when we heard of this even though the concert was on a weeknight and since he is not coming back for a Christmas concert here we went ahead. I'm glad we did. It was worth it.
Summer, so happy about your gig!!!! Great news! AND I'm proud of you for getting some help with the housework.
Kris, I'm thinking of you while you guys move dh and I hope all runs smoothly.

Hello Everyone.. I have had one of those days where nothing went right.. I am sure all of you know exactly what I mean..
I wont go into it al but the lady didnt show cause something came up..and my house was upside down.cause I thought she would be here... I have spent yesterday and today cleaning I am beat..anyway I dropped everthing I touched today and well you all know what I mean Gurrrrrr....tomorrow will be better.. I am getting ready for the Halloween Moose thing and I have to get some false eyelashes.... I hope I can get them on.. its been forever since I had those thing on.. I am just gonna tease my hair up and wear a ton of make-up and go as a 60's chick.....I hope to take pictures..if they turn out I will post them on the Yahoo site..

Donna..That concert sounded wonderful..Yes I love Amy Grant and I like Vince Gill too...They both have some great music.. I am so glad you had a great time and Elena was a good girl.. I bet that she would be good with another babysitter... I have a Lexmark X63 All In One..It has been a good one so far..but I would love to have a Flatbed All In One Lazer..but they are outragous in price..so I will wait and see if they ever come down if not I will drop the lazer part and get a nice flatbed all in one jet printer..Dana..How did you get that WW pedometer??? I would like to have 2 of those.. One for me and one for Jim.. Can I order them from somewhere????You are doing so good on your walking and all. I am so proud of you.. Summer my lexmark has a flatbed scanner on it. The all in one I had before didn't have the flatbed and I actually liked it better but this one has been great so far as well. The WW pedometer, I bought from ebay. I think I paid $24 total with shipping but you can get them cheaper if the auction ends with a lesser price. There are a lot of them on there. They are brand new too. I took it with us to the mall this morning (my mom and me) and we walked a mile just the few minutes we were in there. There was this guy selling these toy helicopters that you pull a cord or something and it flew 100 feet up and away and came right back to you. they were awesome and were $14. Mama bought 2 and then he said, "You're going to get $10 something back, if you give me this, I will give you 2 more copters. So she ended up with 4 and there are 3 grandsons. We thought about letting one be for my DH but then on the way to the car mama said, maybe one day when we're alone and no one can see our toys, we can open one to see if we can make it work as well.

I also went to michaels and got the Slab III Rosey. I don't know if you're familiar with that but michaels has the slab of 180 12 x 12 scrapbook pages for $19.99 but today this one was on sale for $12.99 so that was a HUGE deal. i had the slab I and II already and it's all new pages. I'm so excited to make some more cards over the weekend.

I just found out I have to make sure my new one ( when I get one ) is compatable with DSL..Now I have a plug that Jim made me to use when I get a fax or recive one.. This printer is not DSL ready..Its all high tech to me ...The Helicopters sound really cool.. I am sure the kids will be so excited to get them for Christmas..I wish I could get started but not yet..soon..It also sounds like you got some good deals on your Card supplys..Way to go...Have a great weekend..
