Hello Everyone... I just wanted to say Hi and let you all know that I didnt get in here yesterday as I got to feeling bad again..Went to the Doc today..I still have Bhronchitis..but now I have walking pneunomia..Thats why I feel so bad..He gave me different meds and said go home and to bed..I am taking his advice..I am going to go to bed soon..Jim saw the Doc..He gave him a brand new Sugar testing kit and a RX for the Ultra one Dana recominded in case Jim didnt like the one he gave him..The cost of it was 80.00... I was shocked they are so high..but Dana said they would be..Jim has to test his sugar 1 time a day..He also wants us to go to a diet and Diabetes class at the hospital..He gave us a referal so maybe the insurance will pay for it..as I know it will be costly..Everything always is..
I just wanted to update all of you and say I will be out for a couple of days.. I am real tired and soar from coughing so I want to rest awhile..Thanks for understanding..

Rosey.. I am glad you had a good time enjoying you DD BD..Please wish her belated wishes from me...sounds like a fun time..shopping and all..I hope that Steve feels a little better.. I know that it has to be hard....as far as the Adkins.. I agree with Dana about it..when it comes to Diabetes.. I didnt know today untill the Doc told me about sugar in carbs and high levels of protien and so on.. It alot to learn for this old woman..hense the class the Doc wants us both to take.. It seems you have to be so careful when you have Diabetes..so please research and talk to your Doctor..I think it really boils down to real sensible eating..but Dana has the scoop and I would talk to her to..She got alot of wonderful info from the people in the hospital for Brett..How is your cards coming??? I know what you mean about carbs..cause thats the first thing I go for too.. I have to train myself and Jim to more Veggies and the right fruits...

Sorry that it rained but its always beautiful the day you have to come back..I would have loved to have been there with you on the beach...Where at is you Dad's house close to???I tried to picture where it was..You dont have to say exactly..I understand....I am so impressed staying OP all weekend WOW what will power.. I have been sick but I am still eating not over eating just eating....I lost a couple pounds but thats water weight I am sure....I hope that Jim is feeling better..Your Jim and mine have real bad sinus trouble..My Jim got meds for that very thing today at the Dr's.... and I am sure Elena will get better in school..sometimes its just harder to ajust but she will..She has a Great Mom to help her...I am sorry that there were not alot of people at you sisters BD..Please giver her my belated wishes..Your food for bible study sounds really good.. I am sure they will love it....I amd hoping ot get into the swing of things with walking and diet after I get over this stuff..I pray that I will not have anymore hurdles to climb over after this as I dont think I could take it.. Sorry that you have no help at home..I have been there and done that..so I very much understand..As far as the Menopause thing..Well just let me say it is not a pretty sight.. ..It can do a number on you and everyone can be different with different things happening to them..What has made you ask??..Are you having some sort of symptons??..I will be glad to be out of the big "M" one day..Please feel better soon..Take Care of yourself..get pelnty of rest and liquids and if possible..go to the Dr and get some meds..Oh yes please feel free to ask me anything about the "M"..I will try to answer you with what I know and I am no expert but I will try to help you..Get Better Soon..

I am trying to clear my lungs ans it had been hard doing that but not as bad as I remember when I smoked..it was much worse so much I could not smoke but when I would feel alittle better I would start up again..wasnt that stupid..but i am thankful that I am not now and been smoke free for 3 years now..I cant believe I have pneunomia..Now I know why its hard to breath and I am so tired.. I got new meds so I will get better.. I am sure you read that Jim got a machine and the Dr gave us a RX for the Ultra one..He said the Ultra one was the best too..so we shall see..If I dont take that class due to the expense if insurance will not cover it.. I will need you help please..with the carbs and protiens..I get so confused soemtimes about all of this..

Gee. Long post and then went to post it and it said page unavailable and lost it all. Briefly, summer hope you are getting better quickly and by all means take advantage of that sleeping. It's not Brett's b-day. It's in feb. Don't know how that got started but I believe yesterday was Kris's DH's b-day.

I haven't been up to posting myself due to TOM. Since going to the pill back in june, the cramps are rough and heavy. (too much info I know) anyway, DH doens't work this afternoon and I bet he will want to go somewhere. I get all of my "on the road" doing groceries and taking kids to school. I hope the medicine is helping you and you are over the initial side effects.

Daphne, I am VERY concerned about you, girlfriend!! Jason better get his act together soon or I'm afraid you are going to be wore down and sick from stress like poor Summer got. You have not been sleeping well and therefore your body has not been able to repair itself. Please post soon so we know how you are.

Summer, so glad you are FINALLY getting the rest you need. Since we returned from the Atlanta trip I finally can sleep through the night. It's amazing how much better I feel during the day now. I myself will be glad when Halloween is here and gone. All it means to me is MORE CANDY that I can't eat and exactly what Elena doesn't need. Elena has a party at school but they are not to dress up. Which suits me just fine because we don't normally celebrate it. She wanted a lion king outfit at the Disney store but it was so expensive. 35 dollars for a outfit! I will wait till after and buy it for her when it's marked down for a dress up clothes. Too bad I am rusty on my sewing.
My stepmother did well with her eye surgery. I called the day of it and she was resting. My Dad is suppose to return home here today and Ann's daughter Brenda is still living in her house with her husband so she will continue to care for her mother what needs to be done. I was seriously thinking of driving up there today but need to prepare for the lesson tomorrow morning. Jim's schedule at work is going to be changed again. They are really swamped with work and they will some time soon start working 5 - 10 hour days. So no more off on Fridays. The extra money will be great for Christmas. Although I would like all purchased soon. I do have one present!

Dh came home and loaded up the trash to take it off and now the blazer won't crank. Would you believe that? I guess it did good to go 10 weeks with hardly any trouble. I haven't talked to him since he tried to crank it. He took the garbage and but it in the car but me and my mom were just bragging on things starting to turn around in our family and look at that. Just makes me mad I guess. Well anyway, we may go shop a little today and then again we may not. Hope you all are having a grand afternoon.

Hi everyone..you will never guess>>ITS SNOWING>>> ..too soon for me.. i will bet it wont stick tho..at least im hoping ..have been down in the garage helping the dh.. and i thought i would get what i wanted done or at least started ..hes been making all summer hope chests for the grandkids. he works for a few and then comes up and lays down..has a soft chair he can sit and work too in the garage.. anyways he needed my help..the chests are like a old steamer trunk with rounded lids.. the kids names are on them cut out of wood..and they have brass fittings and locks.. and cedar lined with a false bottom in them to hide treasures..hes so clever working with wood and these are truly a labor of love as he can only do a little at a time and then has to quit as hes in pain but he needs a project and a reason to be so i gave him the idea months ago and little by little they are getting done..ill try and get pictures to send..hope you are all having a great weekend.. oh by the way am using my winnings for xmas and am all most done shopping..but then xmas is my favorite holiday and i always go overboard... will check in later..as the dh gone to the post office etc and i have a moment to myself so am taking advantage..stay on pts and drink water.. rosey

Wow Rosey I would love to see the hope chest that dh is making. They sound so beautiful and wow what a gift of love. I have been shopping for Christmas all year. I love to find bargins that I know family can use.

Ken tell us about Canadas Thanksgiving. Have you gone back to many meetings? I stopped being as I had missed a few meetings I won't pay the back fees. I was also resenting the weighins. Do you fish at the cabin?
Donna tell me about the eye surgery? WHat was it for? I am back to having trouble with Mr. Robert again. We went to the Drs. on Friday and have put him back on the add meds. I don't like the meds but it is a stronger dose this time. I will see if it helps him any this time. The school is pushing for him to see the school counselor. **** no!!!!! Sorry for the wording there. I will not have the school meddeling in our business any more than they do now. Has Elena adjusted to school now? How are her grades?
Summer you shall never cease to amaze me. Please get that rest that you so well deserve. How is the DH doing today? I hate how the cold meds make me sleep and it isn't a restful sleep. I was hearing voices the other night and thinking bugs were crawling on me. Guess I had a fever huh?

OK now as for Christmas shopping. I have bought a ton of gifts so far. Jason has a large family that buy for us. I came across some Pfazinger(SP) tart butners for .99 cents. I bought those for his Aunts. I also have another small gift for them as well I just can't remember what it is right now. I have Jasons Gramma a beautiful red glass candy jar. She collects red glass. Jasons Mom I have a Light house night light and some other things with light houses on them. Jasons Dad and our neighbor that is like a Dad to jason I bought 2 baseball hats each that talk about fishing and being a great Dad and or Grandpa. Robert and Tony I have been getting a few small stocking stuffers. I have our 3 Nephews and 1 Niece gifts as well. I have a Dalmation soap pump that barks for a friend and Jasons brother a musical waterfall and his wife a gift as well just can't remember what. I need to start wrapping them soon so it isn't over whelming to me.
Jason is talking aobut going to Cali sooner and being there like 2 1/2 weeks. I don't know if I can handle it. I will be a total bi*** this time when FIL tries to get me left with all the kids and take Robert and Jason off. I will not do it and I will not be silent this year. Last year I wasn't that silent either but when I was sick I just didn't care. I will also find a cyber cafe to post in this time. Main reason I am going? I get to go to Mexico this time and I really want to go.
OK I hope that I didn't bore ya all with my Christmas lists. I have a few other bought as well I just have to get them wrapped/ Oh a gift for the friends kid as well. I plan on having a wonderful Christmas this year. If Jason leaves to soon I am still going to get my tree down and decorate it so it is up for when we get back.

Daphne it was a JOY to read a post from you. I'm so glad to hear from you. Sorry I wasn't home to answer your call the other day. I hope it wasn't too disappointing. Your christmas shopping is awesome. I finished up Dh's neice yesterday and got my mom's birthday. Both of our mom's b-days are in nov. Now we have MIL's to get. I've finished xmas shopping for 3 and if his sister would tell me something then I would have that family "knocked off". I hope that you can really go to Mexico and hope that's not a bribe. I remember the awlful time you had last year. Why aren't yall going every other year or something? Couldn't the inlaws come to you? I know that's happened before too hasn't it??

As for the blazer, the battery cables are nearly new. Less than 5 months old or so. The weirdest thing was he checked the oil and I think when the hood slammed back down, it loosened something. We think it's the fuel pump relay but he's not sure where it's at to see.

Well anyway, I'm cooking breakfast and have to get ready for church so I will post later.
