Jamie - You will love the book! Today is my first day on the program. I'm going after work. The only thing I feel like I can't do is up my calories as much as he suggests. Nope - don't think I can. I'm going to to 1600 cals every day and hope that's enough! I'll re-analyze if I'm feeling weak or something.
Also, I'm ona 3 week scale freeze. Whenever I start doing weights I always gain weight initially and I just don't want to see the scale go up, so my next weigh-in will be March 30th and hopefully by then my weight would have stabilized. So for now you will all see 207 on the scale for a few weeks - LOL.
Sara - Sorry you are struggling. It seems your calorie intake is correct, if maybe on the low side. As I mentioned I've been at 1600 cals with no exercise and my losses have been consistent. Can you try breaking your meals up into 6 small ones? This helps to rev up metabolism. Also, with each small meal try to have carb and protein. I have a carb & protein with each small/meal snack except my 10am banana break

But I may add nuts to that.
