I'm at work too, but I am not due to start for fifteen minutes, the tram was early! Despite several police ejecting people, but I had an MP3 player firmly lodged in my ears so missed the drama.
I'm going to the gym at lunch, and then tonight I am lifting weights for the first time in two weeks, and am really looking forward to it. I bet the gym is going to be crowded!

Morning all
Anyone see the programme "Larger than life: eating themselves to death" on ch5 last night? Ugh! Definately a good motivational tool!
Anyway, my plan for today is to walk down to Tesco this morning to get a few bits and pieces (I am limited to what I can get in the shopping basket under the buggy, so can't get a lot). Wanted yoghurt for breakfast but went to the fridge and we didn't have any
Then when my son has his afternoon nap, study calls!

It is repeated on Thursday so I will watch it then. Might be a wake up call to me!

We can't get Channel 5 out in the sticks, but it's the talk of work today, everyone else seemed to have seen it!

It was scary. When they rolled the woman over, she ended up lying on her folded up stomach (folded vertically). Put me off eating ANYTHING!

I haven't seen it, but have set it to record the repeat. There seems to be a lot of weight loss related programming this week!
Today I hit a new record, my boss managed to wind me up by 9.02am on the first working day of the year And that's despite me being happy to be back to my pre-Christmas weight
I managed to resist some boots in the sale today, they didn't have a price on them and the queue was too long, then when I went back later they'd gone, so I was saved from myself

Aw, that's not a good start to the year Helen (btw, good name - that's mine too). Bosses can really suck. I ended up being signed off work for 5 weeks with depression back in Sept because of my boss but luckily I'm free now, as I quit in November and am now a full time mum.
As for the weight programmes: yes, there are a lot on. I'd not thought about it till you mentioned it, but it must be because this is the time when everyone makes the same resolution!

I did start to record that programme but I had a peak at it and stopped. I couldn't bare it.

Ah yes, Gillian McKeith's New Year Detox.
Think I'll pass on that one. Firstly if following her detox programme means I get to look as unhealthy as she does, then I'm not doing it. And secondly, it has been reported today that detox diets are pointless and you are better off just drinking more water and getting more sleep.

I like watching them just so I can shout at the tv
I've got sky+ so I think I'll record them both and see whether they're any good.

Gillian McKeith was on while I was at the gym, it makes me laugh watching her when I'm exercising! Someone buy that woman some decent rouge for goodness sake. You'd think all those mung beans would do something for her skin!
YP sorry about your management hassles. You be careful, or they might make you the boss!!!! She'd love that! I read all about the dramas on your blog.
I'm rally tied, so sad old me is going to go to bed before 10.30 yet again! Ah well!
