Morning all. TGIF!!!

Ellen - Totally understand being in a funk - it's a big effort to eat right when it's so much easier to eat something fast and convenient and not usually healthy. Hope dd's itchy scar stops being so itchy! A walk sounds nice, or it did a few days ago when the weather was nice! This chilly, windy - and soon to be rainy - weather is not pleasant. Doggy will be lucky if we get out for a walk tomorrow...

Michelle - No long weekends for me in the near future. We don't get Good Friday off, unless I want to use a floating holiday. No need for this lapsed Catholic, LOL. Yeh, last night was the pork chops. Bf grilled them and made a noodle dish from a mix. Typical bf - no veggie. I was busy stripping chicken meat off the leftover rotisserie chicken and shredding it, so I left the meal prep up to him and that's what I get.

Shad - I sometimes think of bringing my big fitness ball up from the basement to sit on. At this point, it would probably be more comfortable than either of our desk chairs in the home office!

Mel - Yeh, you should get a new chair out of all you've done for so long!! Glad Jen's feeling and looking better. I just heard the other day about this rotovirus going around - one of the book club women missed Saturday because her son ended up in the hospital! The allergies are bad - I've not worn my contact lenses for 3 days now!

Ceejay - I'm not a huge believer of complex vitamin & supplement regimens, so I'm glad you're deciding against it. If you were specifically lacking in something important, as identified by you're doctor, that would be one thing... Sorry the thunder kept waking you up. Unless it's particularly loud, I usually sleep right through it.

Annie - Okay, where do you get the energy woman??!! Full day of work and then off to do the gardening. And you still can't sleep?? Wow.

Hello Happy!!

Soooo glad it's Friday. And payday too! Went to a Tighter Assets class last night. Different instructor, just as challenging. I'm sore today. Lots of squats and lunges, then some balancing and core work too. Good class.

Only one meeting today, yay. Yesterday I had two long ones - ugh. Tonight is chicken soft tacos for dinner. Sat. morning will be an exercise class. Sat. night I'm getting together with the HS chums. Finally got in touch w/ the mone coming in from MN. Now to see if she's up for the restaurant one of the others picked. She never has any money to spend, so it's challenging.

The weather is going to be crummy this weekend, but there's plenty of indoor chores to do, as well as some grocery shopping. Oh, Michelle - meant to tell you I ate the last of my baby carrots with some roasted red pepper hummus bf had sitting in the fridge (as usual, he bought it and never ate it). It was yummy. More baby carrots and hummus (another flavor to try) are on the shopping list.

Okay, better finally get this posted before I manage to lose it.

Michelle - Took me so long to get to finish my post (interruptions, as usual) that I knew someone would sneak in! Boy, both you and dh working a lot this weekend. Hope you both get in some nice relaxation time. Enjoy the movie!

Happy Saturday.
Snuck off with out the neighbor too so I got to do what I wanted to.

Talked to my bff last night via Instant Messenger. She's been in a vehicle accident. One of her ribs was broken and had whip lash. I'm going to stop by to see her in a couple of weeks when I have my next dr's appointment. Her car was totaled.

It's been a quiet day for me also. Did make it to Blytheville to pay off Sears. But the runs to J C Penny's was pointless. I'll have to stop in Jonesboro on the way to Paragould next week end. Super Walmart was the most eventful stop.

Was watching Dr Oz the other day and he suggested using the stairs for 10 minutes a day. I could do this and I really need to do this if we go back to Silver Dollar city to the Echo Hollar show. I had trouble climbing those 300 steps.

Good Afternoon my fair ladies.....

What a great day....went to see the movie Soul Surfer with DD....OMG what a GREAT movie.....I absolutely loved it...so funny...DD so emotional being preggers and all, cried, laughed and every other emotion....lol...I just patted her leg all the way through the movie, and even held her hand part of the time...lovin' it. Then we went to dad's. We were there about 3 house. She cut his hair. Then we talked computers...BORING...but makes him happy, he gave me some speakers for my puter....God love him.....

Came home, vacuumed the house, finished laundry, getting ready to refresh make up then meeting date (snaggle tooth) at Menards (hardware/lumber yard) for my date....it was my plan as I LOVE going to huge hardware stores..lol. I am a dork. Gorilla glued my vertical blinds at the sliding glass doors...

We have had a 4 or 5 break ins in our neighborhood. They knock on the door and if no one answers they kick the door in and rob you.....this has been going on in Indy neighborhoods for months...some get caught, some don't....I personally do not care if they break in and take my chit, I don't care, just don't take my pictures......as I am sure they will not....TVs, puters, stuff like that...none of mine is up to date and I do not really care...material stuff does not mean squat to me....go for it. I could use some new stuff...lol.

Shad...Not only are you too busy to post, but then you lose your post, well that sucks....

Ceejay...sorry to hear of you BFFs accident...you know my thinking...bright side...she is ok and that is all that matters...vehicles are replaceable....xoxoxo

MELLIE...I hope we BOTH have a piece of mind this weekend...we certainly need it.....so far, so good. xoxoxo

Laura....our weather sucks as well...of course...last weekend when I worked my arse off, it was beautiful...this weekend, it sucks...if you want to plan a great weekend just ask me what weekends I work...lol

CHELLE....hope you didn't work too hard and you got to enjoy some time with DH and DMIL....and all your pains subsided so you could enjoy....xoxox How is Mischief?

Happy...I certainly should get a free pass to the commune as I work so hard all the time and can cook/bake my way into anywhere...please make sure the BF is on board for my free pass...lol

Ellen...hope you are not working too hard and all the family is doing well.....

Gotta get ready for my date at the hardware store with snaggle tooth...lol

Love and hugs.

If microsoft is updating at the same time as I am posting then it has improved. I usually get the message that there are IMPORTANT updates to be had and that it will need to be restarted. Yesterday a message appeared but I didn't even get time to read before it shut down.
Time for a new computer.
Yesterday I went out shopping for a few bits and pieces for the coming weekend and then went to Bunnings for some new plants for the garden. The tomatoes will be coming out soon as they are nearly done. Only a few fruit left on the vines to ripen. They have been so good this time round. Unfortunately the Black Russians are not cookers so they need to be eaten and I've probably given away more than I have eaten. I have bought a new lot of heirloom breeds, and a big one which can be cooked. Hope we get a good load out of these as well.
I dug up the potatoes and came up with 4 small spuds. Enough for maybe one meal. Big disappointment, but I did buy another pot of certified potatoes which I will do as Chris tells me and plant in a bucket. If at first you don't succeed..................
Really enjoying my coffee for some reason this morning. Then I will put the kitchen to rights, finish in the lounge room and go for a drive up to Tamborine Mountain for some fresh mountain air and no doubt some more rain. Doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.

North Queensland had another earthquake yesterday - this one was 5.2 and fairly close centred so the locals will be getting twitchy. Not usually a place for earthquakes either and this was the second this year.

We've had virus' in the office as well. South African girl sitting in my area was the worst. And she ended up with bronchitus and pneumonia. Her doctor thought it was a Swine flu type thingy and then 3 other trainers came down with similar symptoms. Only a couple of us left to hold the fort.

Mel - the manual ? what manual ? is out of my head completely although I may take a look at it tonight. Best time to get work done is when there is no-one there to get in my face.

Ceejay - sorry to hear that your friend is sore and suffering. How sad that she was in an accident. Hope she gets better soon.

Sorry to all the others that missed out on my motivational post yesterday but I don't want to go back and try to recreate it. Time to get on with the day. Lots to do but most of it enjoyable.

And now Annie has just sneaked in above me. Hope the date goes okay. Hardware Heaven is my idea of bliss as well. I go in just to smell the timber

I ALSO HOPE YOU GET TO THE STORES THAT YOU LIKE. SOMETIMES I CAN'T EVEN OPEN MYN DOOR WITHOUT 2 OF THE TENANTS KNOWING I'M IN THE HALLWAY SO I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT GETTING AWAY WITHOUT THE NEIGHBOR!! WE'LL HAVE TO GET MORE PRACTICED AT SNEAING AWAY!!

COULDN'T RESIST I ACTUALLY HAD TO CALL DELL TO FIND OUT IF IT WAS NORMAL FOR SO MANY UPDATES TO BE HITTING ME IN THE BEGINNING. HE SAID YES CAUSE IT WAS SITTING IN THE BOX WHILE PROGRAMS WERE UPDATING FOR ABOUT A YEAR. THINGS HAVE CALMED DOWN SINCE THEN. THE OFFICE TYPES ARE VERY JEALOUS AT MY SPEED OF LIGHT LOADING!! I WILL KEEP THIS PC FREE OF DOWNLOADS. I LOVE THE SPEED. ESPECIALLY WITH THE BANK'S WEBSITE AND THE GOVT'S TOO. WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE HAPPINESS. JEN & RICHIE WERE SHOCKED AT THE SPEED. Annie
I'm glad that you had a good time at the movies. Theater's are to loud for my ears so I wait till the movie is on dvd and buy it.

Shad
I hear you on the computer updates. I'm usually in the middle of writing a post and the puter restarts. It's really aggravating at times.

Mel
I did go to Sears and paid off the washer and dryer. Penny's, however, was a bust. I'll have to stop at the store in Jonesboro to see if they have what I want.
------
After I got back from shopping I started cleaning the house. Cleaned the bedroom and started on my office. I'm not sure where to put my bike. It's really in the way. I moved it out of my bedroom into the office. I'll work it it some more tonight. Still have some ironing to do and there's always laundry.
It's a bit cool this morning but the sun is shining.
bff is doing well and we're both thankful that she was not hurt any more than she was. She's with out a car so when I go to the doctor on the 28th I'm going to stop by and check on her.

Good morning ladies,

Last couple of days have been something else. My computer bogged down so badly it would not function. DH worked on it for 2 days, uninstalled the anti virus program and bought me more memory. He is still having a problem getting my computer to talk to his so I can get access to all of his pictures so I can post them for you. Yesterday I just went to his laptop, uploaded the pictures to my online site and downloaded them back to my machine where I could resize them. (His pictures are "raw" from the camera and so big that it would take 5 minutes for you to download them).

My vertigo is better - Thursday was the worst - it really incapacitated me. I have to be very careful how I tilt my head. Yesterday I looked down into the sink while washing my hands and made the mistake of closing my eyes and WHAM - hit me like a ton of bricks. Nausea and all, room twitching. I looked it up online and it seems the most likely culprit could be a middle ear infection tho I have no pain. Thanks for the suggestion on the Zyrtek and such. I hate taking any allergy thing every day when I don't have allergy problems every day but I might have to give this a whirl for one week to dry the ears up.

Yesterday was cool and grey. DH and I both napped which then really screwed up my nightime sleeping. I started to clean out the back bedroom which of course made more of a mess than it did before I started which is very unmotivating!

Today I have to pick up a few things at the grocery store, do some housework, laundry and the biggest thing is helping DH lift the new bathtub so that he can put a bed of cement under it to set it properply. Not only is it a VERY tight space to work in, I am very weak so trying to hold this will be an adventure. Wish us luck.

Going to try and post some pictures now.

The first set is from the gorgeous azalea gardens down the road from us. We went at the right time - things were all in bloom and last Monday's storm appears to have beat them up a bit so we were fortunate to go last Sunday. The gardens are maintained by this cute elderly couple who must be near to being in their 90's. It's pretty azalea bushes with all sorts of "antiques" strewn about - the man accepted alot of stuff the town was going to toss out so there is old railroad crossing signs, a very old firetruck, the town's first jail which is 2 metal bunks in a metal cage. Most of the stuff is old and dilapidated but the couple is very interesting. He likes to talk and talk and talk. You stay there out of respect but are there far longer than you actually want to be

Hope you like them.

First up - me in Jail

And now for some nice flowers -

Now that you've all had a chance to see the commune, I am taking down the pictures. Thanks for all the kind and complimentary things you have said. I'm sure we will love the new house.

You may have an ear infection. Usually mine is the ear drum itself and that makes me dizzy at times. The azealea's are gorgous, as well as the house.

Quick drive by for me. Kinda busy here at work so I can't be too long. Everything is going well, DH and I walked Tuesday and thursday we are making about a mile in 20 mins with some small hilliness. Tuesday was BEautiful and Tursday was a chilly and windy walk...barely made it up the hill. DH will be out of town T and W this week, so not sure what the plans are, but I really need to go thru the kiddies clothes, and my sis is off so I may enlist her for moral support.

I am going to try keeping track of my calories starting tomorrow. wish me luck.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

ack at work Monday. Normal story IDONOTWANTTOBEHERE!

This will be short and sweet since I have much to do and not much time to do it in.

Had a productive weekend and managed some time out with friends. Took tomatoes and lettuces to Chris and admired her new kitchen and did the little shopping necessary for the week. Then yesterday DB2 rang and said they had a new computer but couldn’t make the internet work. Well of course not, you have a new computer without a wireless card. Ring company, go buy wireless contraption (42.50 thank you) install that and reset the modem and router. Okay all seems to be working well except that we can’t connect to a local network. It needs a key. Tried every damn number I could find from when they set up the old one but can’t find the open sesame number. Rung R to get support – no reply. Rang DS1 – no reply. Seems my NO HELP desk is working just fine.

Anyway……….DS2 is now going to Thailand again and has booked and paid for fares and accommodation. Yesterday he went out for a long walk and then went to a doctor to get Hep A&B injections. Don’t want to be around him for a day or so.

Happy – House looks great. Huge but. Glad you like housework. And those azaleas, they are so pretty. Can grow some Azalea up here but the deciduous ones are not one of them. Didn’t realise you were actually in jail until you mentioned it and then I could see your wee hand hanging out the door.

Mel – your computer should be able to do two things at once but restarting and holding unsaved data will not be one of them. I frequently have lots of applications open – facebook, 3 fat chicks, mail, photos, webshots, excel spreadsheet, the entire kit and caboodle. Sometimes it complains about it, but usually shuts up when I shout at it.

Ceejay – glad to here your friend is okay. Better the car is totalled than she is. Hope you have a good visit when you go to see her.

I’d better go get on with my day. to anyone peeking in and those that I missed.
