Good morning chicks. Not going to be a banner birthday for me I'm afraid. 3 straight nights of not enough and very disruptive sleep because of the bad storms that have been rolling through here have gotten to me. I doubt I've gotten 4 hours of sleep each night. I am tired, very crabby and my stomach hurts. Word to the wise - keep a wide berth around me today. Sorry to be a downer but I'm just so freaking tired...
Happy Soaking Hump Day...I AM SICK OF RAIN. We had storms all night long, same as Happy, but I believe they are in for far worse than I.

Shaddie...what a wonderful 5 days off you had with R. Now back to the grind...yuk. Need to hit the lottery...DDs morning (actually all day) sickness has lightened up since I told her to go off the prenatal vits and take Flintstones Complete. She can now keep a bit of food down and not nauseas. Flintstones Complete are the very best for anyone, not just kids, as a matter of fact that is the vitamin prescribed to me after bariatric surgery.

I'm really glad it's Wednesday. The weekend is getting closer. Yay! DMIL went to her sister's and will be back on Monday. DH is going to a car show with his buddy on Saturday. So I'm trying to decide how I'm going to spend an entire day to myself. I've got a gift card for a massage, so I'll probably see if I can schedule it for Saturday.
I'm looking forward to doing the water aerobics class tonight and getting some endorphins!
Ceejay - Did your uncle reschedule his trip to Branson? The flooding is so bad down there that my DH's company's branch office in Kennett is closed due to flooding and may relocate to New Madrid. Good luck with the car repairs tomorrow.
Mel - I hope the election canvassing and voting goes smoothly, and that the office drama and jealousy and senior drama all settles down.
Shad - I'm so glad you had a nice visit with R. Smart thinking to remove your hard drives before donating or dumping your PCs. If the drives are in working order, DH transfers the files to the new computer. If the drives are not viable (can't write to or read off of them), a good way to make them hack proof is to drill a few holes in various parts of them.
Happy - I'm so sorry to hear that you're tired and crabby on your birthday. I hope you get some sleep tonight. Have you tried chamomile tea or something else that's equally relaxing that might help you sleep through the bad weather? I can totally relate. In late May/early June when the weather radio alarm is going off every 30 minutes, it makes for a very disruptive night's sleep. I hope you get to sleep early tonight.
Annie - I'm tired of the rain too. It rained hard yesterday. So far so good today, but we've got rain in the forecast for today, tomorrow and Saturday. Thanks for the tip about Flintstones Complete. I'm glad your DD is doing better after she switched her vitamins.
I'm tired already...this may be a 2 cup of coffee day.

I still haven't heard if my uncle went to Branson.
We had another bumpy night and starting out this way. I'm like the other's I'm TIRED of the RAIN. We had street flooding over night. The power was out in my area last night. I was to tired to care last night. I don't know if it went off or not. My neighbor stayed with me. I'll ask her.
I'm canceling my doctor's appointment for tomorrow in Jonesboro. I'd planned on spending the night with my bff but I just don't trust the roads with all the flooding we have had. They haven't said anything about Big Lake but I'm sure it's up to the bridge. Plus the bridge over the St Francis river is probably flooded. It's all in low lying area's.
DDs Doc appt went well. She stopped in here at work to show me the ultra sound pix. Just a tiny little peanut. Confirmed 7 weeks pregnant. They didn't give her a due date yet. They are letting the cervix ride till 15 weeks, then they will examine her every two weeks from that point. If there are any changes in the cervix then they will put the stitch in to keep her closed. That's all for now.
Morning all. Just a quick hello. Busy week for me. Will have to do a major catch up at some point, just don't know when. Tomorrow & Fri are full with software demos, so I doubt I'll have time during the day. Tonight's the movie, tomorrow night is an exercise class.

Laura - Have fun with the software demos! Are you presenting the demos or in the audience? "Hanna" didn't look all that compelling to me either. I'm sure you'll find something better to do tonight.

Spent the last 2 hours sitting in interior conference rooms again. I think the storms are finally leaving all though the weather conditions are very condusive to pop up storms.

I've cancelled my dr's appointment for tomorrow. One of the guy's was going to J today to take some parts over there. He said they were closing the St Francis bridge.
Morning all, 'tis still morning although I have been up and about for a while I haven't got to work yet. Had to go and pick up DS2 and his mad mate from the airport and they got done over in customs and it took two hours for them to get out. I was wondering whether they got done and had been slammed in the pokey. But eventually I got hold of them. Apparently mad mate just doesn't listen to advice. He got stroppy with the man in Bangkok and it followed him all through Singapore and into Brisbane. Don't they realise that customs officers talk to each other? But then again mad mate is 37 going on 13 so I suppose that explains it.
Haven't got time to talk at the moment, I'm at home and I need to log into work and get started on some changes that need to be made and update some doco. I'd better get on with it. Will be back during the day to do personals as I can.
