It's November 1st! A great day to rededicate my self to health and fitness. So, this weekend was a bust. I ate out every day including nuggets and a McDouble at the golden arches. It was a solid 1000 calorie meal but I know that with a little more focus I can still make 155lbs by new years.

Fattiegirl - Welcome to the good times!
jigglefree - Working out 2x a day is something I've never been able to do- I just lack the dedication and my hair would hate me.
Brit - I read somewhere on here that going into maintenance when your body demands it is much better than pushing to a certain number your mind decided.
Matilda- The 2teens are at your doorstep! Just keep moving forward.

new month, new start. ladies i am fasting/detoxing today to start my month off right. only having green tea sweetened with sweet n low and water.i heard its suppose to help with the craving/binges that i have been doing lately..its really hard and im hungry lol but im pushing through..tomorrow im thinking of doing a veggie/fruit one.

my plan is to get to goal by thanksgiving and start maintaining..so then i can enjoy just a little bit more of the holiday food if i want. my ultimate goal was 140 and i've calculated if i loose only 1lb a week in December..i can make my ultimate goal by new years which sounds perfect to start my new year off.loosing 1lb a week is NOTHING to me being that i loose about 2-2.5lbs now if im OP everyday.

Hello ladies!! I wi at 226.4 today so im not complaining. Im going to really try to stick to my guns this month I want to be at least 210 year end. I screwed up october so I dont think I can make 199 but ill shoot for the best. Im just happy to still be making progress. Its getting harder to lose these lbs I know from this point to 199 is going to be a lot of hard work.
My b day was 10/30 and I had a personal training session Ive lost over ten inches in all!!!!! Body fat and bmi went down a few points Im proud of that.

Cake- Hey girlie thanks for the compliment. You also are loooking great and keep up the good work with instructing!!

i have also decided i will start maintaining at 145 rather than going down to 140 and maintaining under 145, cuz honestly, im tired of loosing weight ladies, staying strictly under 1400 cal, etc. exercise is no problem, its just i been getting hungrier lately & eating maintenance calories will serve me just right. plus the holidays are coming, exams will be here, stress, etc.if i wanna go down to 140 , i know i can cuz i know HOW to lose weight whenever i want.but i plan on start maintaining once i get to 145..maybe when it gets back to spring time, i'll wanna loose another 5lbs.
i hope u have a big 3FC party once u reach ur goal! ur so close and i wouldn't even stress about exceeding your goal because meeting your goal is such a monumental feat that no one can say you didn't go all the way!!

hey ladies. I may have overdone it yesterday. Went for a 3 mile run that was actually a 4 mile run and it included a few "obstacle" courses. Huge tree roots and ditches. Then I had Zumba to teach right after, it was all a bit too much., Hadn't recovered from Saturday's 15 mile run fully. Ah well i have 8 to run tonight.

Brit - You are doing awesome. its all mental once you get this close to goal...so just stay focused

Matilda- Well hot damn. 10 inches is freaking awesome!!!! How was your birthday?? Did you do anything special...well other than the trainer?

Sal - Whats your plan to tackle the month of November? For me it is simply cooking more and not eating at my moms. This is so I can control what exactly goes in my mouth. I am aloso giving up diet coke...it makes me want sweets

Sunny DC and Slim CB - Hello ladies.

Hi Ladies, so yesterday was my meeting and official WW weigh-in is 167.2 which is EXACTLY what I weighed last week. I tried to really take a look back through my food diary and I think i need to really focus on trading processed 1 & 2 point snacks for fruits and veggies. The problem for me is that the 1pt diet twinkie taste a heck of a lot better than a medium apple or a 1/4 cup of blueberries. I suppose that's what this journey is all about....

Brit, congrats on being so close to your goal and on having the focus to stick to a fruit and veggie fast. I really find I need the boost that comes from rice, beans and bread...

CakeBatter, Diet coke is like my life blood. I can't imagine letting it go. November is all about fruits and veggies for me I am trying for 5 a day.

I don't think so....The thing is I did not have that much lbs to lose to begin with. I feel that goal stories are for people like Brit who has lost over 100 lbs or cake who has lost 50lbs. My measly 30 or so lbs.......i dont think its befitting of a goal story.

Hi Ladies! I hope everyone is having an on plan Friday and feeling excitement for the weekend. I've really tried to focus on fruits and vegetables this week and can't wait until next Tuesday's weigh-in to see if it's working. I have eaten 5ADay for the last three days and It really does keep me fuller longer although it's harder to battle the sugar demons without my trusty 100 calorie packs.

Question for you all: Is pumpkin a vegetable? I mix half a cup into my oatmeal in the morning and count it as a veggie/fruit but my sister thought it was too starchy so shouldn't count. What do you think?

Matilda, I'll probably post pictures but won't do a success story. Although, when I make it to the 150's or 140's I may feel differently. I am just starting to look different with 40lbs lost!

I totally disagree! Losing weight is so hard and I dont care if its 20 or 100 lbs they are hard to lose and it takes A LOT of hard work and dedication. Girl pat yourself on the back u deserve to make a BIG deal out of reaching your goal weight!! You have done a great job and it didnt happen over night.
