Carri-The weight will be falling off in no time!

Wow I just binged on lo mien, half a candy bar,1 cookie and some popcorn!! This is the first time I have binged in a long time, why am I doing this to myself?! All I keep thinking is I have to be at 202 by Sunday or I have failed....I think the thought of not making it really brought my spirits down and I binged Seeing 206.4 this morning didnt help (though I weighed after breakfast). All I can do now is try to do better....so what if I don't make it to 202 by sunday-life goes on right?!

Mel, stop the madness! Quick! You still may make your goal by Sunday, but if not, an extra week isn't so bad. I've done this yo-yo thing so many times, and I can definitely relate to that bad feeling about not making it to where you want, WHEN you want, but keep in mind how far you've already come. Being a tiny bit off schedule is not a failure! Now get back on that wagon!!!

Mel - Absolutely life goes on! What's another week? It's nothing! Don't get discouraged, you've done so well and you'll be at your goal in no time, even if it's a bit longer than halloween (or at halloween, too!). Back away from the lo mein....

Default Rainy again here

And woke up feeling crappy again. Maybe I'll feel better once I get some into me.

Carri, good for you getting back on track! I bet those pounds will drop away in no time. Just so freakin' easy to let a few sneak on here and a few there. Man, they add up, huh?

Auntie g, it's hard to get to bed early enough to make up for 5 a.m. wake-ups but it really makes so much difference. I remember seeing one study that just compared dieters who got 7-8 hours sleep a night with those who got 6 or less and the sleepers lost a lot more weight. Maybe I should go back to bed...

Mel, my goodness! You've been doing so great -- one slip-up is not even significant. You're a success!

Liz, your sister's 2 under 2 might be a handful now but they'll be great friends as they get older. Does she have other kids?

K, Wimmins, I am off to fight the particular dragons attacking this day. Let's win it!

Arabella - Hope the coffee made you feel better! I know a few cups usually gets me dancing and singing with the kids, before that I would probably be more likely to growl. My sister just has the two, she is 40 now and pretty sure she does not want anymore! How goes the journalling?

Mel - Hope you're having a great day and feeling positive!

As for me, just getting Jakie ready for preschool, and STILL getting over this cold, this is really getting old! Hope everybody has a great day!

Hey ladies,
Still feeling pretty blah here...the storm today didn't help I feel very off plan this week. Seeing 206 this morning didnt help...I think it is really bringing my mood down (time to hide the scale again I guess). Hope everyone else is having success!

Thumbs up

Still not 100% here but good enough to do what needs to be done. I'll go for a walk after I get a bit more into me. I ordered a pair of Shape Up Strengths yesterday.

I get a kick out of the way they look -- high-heeled sneakers. (Now all I need is the alligator hat.) And they feel fantastic on. I tried them at a local store yesterday but they only had them in blue. And they were $120. Found a "new or nearly new" black and white pair on eBay for $50 including shipping. I bought two pairs of the sandals in the summer and they were great. I've got foot problems and I could walk in them for hours.

Liz, caffeine is a wonder drug, no question. Hardly ever fails me. The journaling is going well. I've stuck with it throughout and the weight seems to be subsiding. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Hope you're feeling better soon! Man, everybody's been sick, online and off.

Mel, this too shall pass. Some weeks are better than others. Just do what you need to do to make you feel better.

K, I'd better either get some work done or head out for walkies. Let's make this a good one!

Morning Girls, didnt go to work yesterday due to a sinus headache, hope I am not getting in infection from the cold I just got over...been steadily staying OP even with the nasty headaches ( which may be from me starting back on again strict )...so cant wait to weigh in this Saturday and hopefully see a few pound loss.

Mel - DONT freak out about it...I do the same thing once in a while and boy can I binge...we are talking about a whole med pizza to myself and then anything else I can find...I know you feel absolutely horrible after and who knows why we do it...well I know why we do it, we are going along strict for so long and then we go nuts on food. But please dont let it get you down, by cutting out a few more calories for the next few days you may still make your 202 and if not, then like everyone else said you go another week, no biggie Hon !

Arabella - I have been wanting to try those shoes but have heard mixed reviews, so I will be anxious to hear what you think.

Liz - hope you get over the cold soon, I know how ya feel ...I am still trying to feel 100% again too ...

Hi my Auntie G - hope you are hanging on like me ( by a thread ) haha

Okay back to stinky work

Later Girls

Arabella- Good luck with the shoes! I thought about buying them but I am a little taller then Dh so anything that makes me taller is bad LOL

Carri-I really hope that you feel better!!

Thank you all for the kind words! I told DH I am at the point where if I don't make it its not the end of the world...I will make it there eventually! I have a feeling some of it is water weight bc I feel bloated. I was trying to find something for lunch with no sodium and its so hard! If anyone knows some good meals and snacks that are low in sodium I would appreciate it!
I managed to exercise some today (thanks to DH giving me a little push...which I asked for lol) I was on the treadmill 27 mins and did 7-8 songs on my Just Dance 2 Wii game (it will make you sweat lol). I am going to go hide the scales until sat so I wont be tempted to weigh in early. I am hoping for a pound loss since I only have 3 days
I hope everyone has a great wednesday!

Halfway through the week and I'm still on plan - woo hoo! I think that giving the plan a name really helped me remember why I'm doing this. I even have the Halloween candy sitting in the kitchen, unopened, which is a shocker!

Arabella, I've been curious about those crazy shoes, but I've never even tried them on in a store because of the cost. Maybe I should reconsider if they feel that good! My feet are in serious pain, now that it got too cool to wear my ugly, but oh, so comfortable sandals.

Carri, congrats on staying on plan while feeling crappy! I keep snorting saline solution every time I feel slightly sinus-y, and so far, it seems to be helping me to avoid a full blown germ attack. What do you think about these BL guys? I'm getting annoyed with those 2 gamers on the black team. Grrrr.... I always root for Jillian's team, but they are making me rethink it this time.

Mel, that sounds like a lot of exercise to me! You're gonna have a good weigh in this week, don't you worry!

Liz, hope you're feeling better, too!

Time to walk the pupperoni... Have a good one!

Congrats on staying on plan Auntie!! I hope to lose 1 pound by Sat but the tuna sandwich and mac and cheese for dinner didnt help (I did great until then).
I hide the scales so no more weighing until Sat!
I am going to Logan's fall festival in the morning then going to the grocery. Dh wants me to make a pumpkin pie, snicker doodles, brownies,Halloween cookies AND snicker cookies for him to take to work Friday. I think he is trying to kill me haha I have to make 2 dirt cakes for a Halloween party Sat too....if I can make it through all this temptation I can make it through anything!!

It would be nice to wake up feeling good one of these days, eh? Not today. I don't feel totally horrible, just kind of wobbly. But it doesn't make me want to exercise. I never did get my walk in yesterday. Today I'm going to aim for at least an hour walking, even if I have to do it in segments. If I walk to the office and come home for lunch that gives me just about an hour. I'll just throw in another little walk down town and that'll do it.

Low weight for this week so far has me down another pound. Right direction, anyway.

Auntie g, for on plan! Interesting how giving the campaign a name revs up the motivation. Especially a well-chosen one. Who wants to FLS all the time? The shoes are pricey but you can get them for less on eBay. I can't wait till mine get here!

Mel, DH doesn't ask for much! My goodness. Mine has a potluck he has to take food for a couple of times a year and I usually make him cook it himself.

He's 6'4 so I've got no worries with the shoes. Any time I wear shoes with a bit of height, I tell him I'm taller than he is but he just laughs at me.

Carri, I use a neti pot for sinuses. It really helps me with the annual, winter-long battle. Ugh. Think I need to go do it now.

Liz Hope you're feeling better!

All right -- I vow to make this day work for me. Let's hit it!

Good luck today Arabella!! DH can't bake so if I want the guys at his work to not get food poisoning then I need to make it haha

I am going to head to Logan's preschool soon to be with him during his fall festival, then off to the grocery to pick up all those bad ingredients lol I won't have time to do the treadmill this morning but all the walking at the school and grocery will make up for it It feels so weird not stepping on the scale in the morning but it had to be done for my sanity.

Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Morning Girls ...another OP day down ...feeling a little better, had a good day yesterday and hope to have another one today...kind of excited that Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin is on tonight ( CBS at 8:00 ), never really feels like Halloween or Fall to me until I see that...so gonna have to DVR Community and The Big Bang Theory and watch them later.
Very cold here today, gonna be a high of 51 ...well cold for what we have been having lately anyway, kind of dark and cloudy too ...dh and I are gonna make chili tonight, he makes the best chili, and will probably eat on that for the next few days...gonna make some cornbread muffins to go with it...but I will only have one...his chili really cleans me out ....hahahaha ...so will be good for some weightloss

Auntie G - yeah I am getting sick of the black team too...especially the big guy that is such the baby...blanking on his name right now, italian guy I think ...he has a bad attitude and seems all about the game rather than the weightloss...gotta find a good balance...FREDO ! Just thought of it...and I think Jillian is also getting sick of it as well....ahhh but I will keep watching ....

Arabella - I always wonder about the neti pot...I hear good things...might have to try it.

Mel - Geez, I would go crazy being around all those baked goods...and one of my favorite desserts is dirt pudding...is a dirt cake anything like that? I think it is like crushed up oreos, cream cheese, and cool whip ...dang it, now I am hungry for it, haha

Liz - Hi ya !! Hope you are feeling better.

Have a good day everyone...I just want to get through this work day and go home and relax ....and of course watch Charlie Brown ...see ya

Hey gals!

Mel - That is A LOT of baking! I find I really have to focus with baking, I always tend to lick my fingers off or something (real sanitary I know) and not think about it. Have fun!

Carri - YAY for Charlie brown halloween! I'll have to see when it's on around here to watch it too, you're right it totally makes it!

Arabella - Yeah not feeling well really does not bode well for exercise. Hope you enjoyed your walks though!

As for me, I can't believe it, but still sick. This is I think the longest cold I've had - I usually don't get sick. I am a lot better though. VERY tired though, Katie has decided that between 3am and 5am for the past three nights is the perfect time for playtime. UGH. As for weight loss, this week I have plateaued a bit, no loss so far! This would be my first week without any loss if there's no downward movement tomorrow. I've been OP, so I'm chalking it up to lack of sleep and also sickness. Oh well! Hope everybody has a great day!
