Gen I know what you mean. I just spent my days off sorting out and cleaning because I had just dumped stuff everywhere when I came back from Bali. I am already planning my next trip, even though I have only been home for a month
.
Don't let those mind games beat you. I think you have done a fantastic job sofar, and I have no doubt that you can do anything you set your mind to. Who cares if you are losing weight more slowly than some other people? The reality is you have lost heaps of weight already, and the benefits are obvious. I am proud of you
.
Julia you are SO right, it's a head battle. Isn't it funny how, when we are wavering we allow outside things to divert our attention. Mind you, if I had been through an earthquake and the aftershocks I would have put "weight loss" way down the list of priorities. I have no such excuse - just a battle in my head to get it right.
I wake up every morning determined to get it right, and manage to do well until mid afternoon. Then I seem to stuff things up. I really need to plan better, and to make better decisions.
Today I am going to give it a real crack, and aim for less than 1800 calories, 30 minutes of exercise and 1.5 litres of water.
So Vonni I suppose you're not going to scan that pic from the paper - or post us a link?
