Thanks JM. It sucks quite phenomenonly. I've got a permanent headache from crying so much and unfortunately have so much going on with work etc that I can't just hide away which is what I want to do. It's bloody hard to put on a happy face and pretend that everything's ok.

Aw. *hugs* I can't help with much, but for the headaches, there is a little trick my husband taught me because I don't like taking pills unless I have to.

Between your thumb and forefinger, you have that skin and muscle area - the web, if you will. Use your other thumb and forefinger to rub that area. It will likely be quite sensitive and hurt, but keep rubbing/squeezing - like you're pinching it, but you don't have to do it quite that hard.

Do it on both hands. It will hurt - usually the worse the headache, the more it will hurt - but when you release, you should feel your headache ease off.

Julia, I'm sorry you're hurting. I think it's the right choice though, and the brave one. It's hard to leave when things are "okay" and not "bad".. but you really do deserve more! If you're not getting it there, even if it's noone's fault, you have to move on.

Take your time to be upset. xoxo

The past week I have been feeling so bloated. i went for a walk around the block and when i got home my feet were the size of balloons. What is going on with me? grrr

I havent put ON any weight per se but I havent lost anymore either which is quite disappointing.

Hiya Lani, welcome to our thread

My hands swell up when I go for walks unless I drink water from the beginning of the walk and continue to take regular drinks while walking.

Happy Summer Guys!

I wish I could tell if I look bloated or not...I'm pretty sure I'm in that state all the time. The only time i ever noticed a change was in my feet after 14 hours on a plane...blech!

haha Gen at heels. Hope u had a great time. As for the sodium intake - i dont add salt to anything and try to eat minimal processed / high salt foods. probably just this thyroid thing they STILL havent got sorted. Mind u thats partly my fault as I am 2 months overdue for the next biopsy and bloods

Ah ok.. yes that makes sense. I didn't realize you didn't have that sorted out yet. That makes it frustrating to try and lose weight!

As for me, my feet and I survived the night (thank goodness the place was carpeted so a bit easier on the feet because we were standing almost all night!). Even camped out on the dancefloor later in the night - in those heels! Haha. Had 4 drinks and was jolly but don't think I embarrassed myself. Although there was a table of docs and nurses from the children's hospital watching our group dancing and laughing ...haha. I think that was more at one of the other girls in our group who was having a giddy old time. We had some old man dragging us out onto the dancefloor one by one.

It was nice to have a dressy occasion that didn't stress me out about an outfit - I had a nice top I found in storage under my bed, and a skirt I bought and never wore. Once I got my heels and some tights, that was it. Nice feeling. Also didn't feel uncomfortable all night with pulling up tights and sucking things in... just got to have fun

As an added bonus, apparently having 2 slices of pizza for lunch yesterday (work meeting) + 4 vodkas + half a piece of chocolate cake for dinner = 1kg loss on the scale this morning.. go figure that out!! So I have officially hit the 30kg+ loss!

PS: I can officially confirm that yes, I have clavicle bones!
