Ceejay - make sure you are taking an expectorant to get the gunk out of the lungs and lots and lots of liquids. If you get bored with water - tea with honey and a fresh lemon wedge will sooth that ragged sore throat that comes from coughing your eyeballs out!
Oh the doc just called. The pap came back normal. Chorlestrol was 139 triglicerides were 55. I am a bit anemic, but I have been since I was a teenager. I do take extra iron, but danged it constipates me. Oh, and the VD test came back clear. hahahahahahahahha. Good thing for Tony, I would hate to have to string him up!!
The picture in the above post is at Brandon's enjoying my brother's band.
Left is Kristin, me in the middle and Leanne on right - both are buds from my previous job.
Well now I have found out what broccoli rabe is, I am ........ not going to make the recipe. Sorry Mel. Guess I am not good on green leafy vegetables - especially the cooked variety.
Trying to decide what to do today. I have several choices. I think it will be a spot of painting and tiling in the kitchen - at least this morning. Once the sun comes in, it will be too hot in there for all that jazz. That will be one more niggle off my plate as Ruth would say. I'm so good at not finishing off my projects and leaving some niggles at times. Stupid really as they are the smallest bits to be done although fiddly and bitsy.
I found some pics of my new furniture on the net. I'm about to attach them, if I can find where I saved them. Uuuh - can't find the chest of drawers, that will have to wait. My barbie will be a bright blue, not black. Can't wait. The chairs fit right in under the table and it looks like a dark grey cube all shut up.
Annie - ooooh - maybe you should get a certificate and wave it around.
Ceejay - are you sure you don't need some extra sick days just to ensure this bug goes away? I'd hate to think of it coming back again
Happy - Glad to hear the hair came out okay. Warm reddish brown on one person can be almost black on another. I'm trying to work out how grey mine is so I can decide what to do with it. I don't think I can justify the cost of dye and streaks as I have had previously - especially as there is no job at the moment. No point in wasting money.
Mel - sorry to hear about the eyes again. Hope this is not a recurrence of the events last year.
So I didn't get off on the bike yesterday. About to try again today. This time I will get on with it. See yah
Annie - great photos! You look mahvelous! So does Hella Bella. Thanks for sharing! You're going to be getting 40 degree weather?! No fair!
Patty - I hope the doc is able to figure out what's up and get you on treatment. Hang in there sweetie. :hugs:
Shad - We missed you at dinner....but if you want to come tonight for leftovers, you're more than welcome! Sorry to hear your economy is having a rough time as well. Hopefully things will improve soon. Good luck on the bike. I have a barbie just like the one you've got. Your outdoor furniture is really nice!
Mel - I hope you're having a nice, restful day!
Happy - I'll bet your hair looks fine. At least she did a good job with the highlights. My scalp gets sensitive to hair color as well. Sounds like you got a lot accomplished. I still have my Christmas stuff to put away and take down to the basement. As long as I get it done by Easter, right? Sounds like you'll have a nice and productive day off. 3 day weekends are great. I won't be having one of those until Memorial Day (unless I take vacation). I so wish it was 50 here. Ahhh, that would be heaven. I agree that tomorrow will be one of those days when most people, even those at work, will either be watching TV or on the Internet for the inauguration.
Annie - Thanks for sharing the pictures. My your cholestrol and tri are good. Wish my numbers could get that low.
Happy - the hairdo sounds cute. My scalp itches when i get color and with my problems right now, it's going to have to stay grey.
Shad - your table are chair look nice. Enjoy them...
Mitchellez - I'm glad i'm not the only one with Xmas stuff out. I have several boxes i need to put up. Now that i think about it, I have two outdoor decorations that I probably need to bring in. Forgot about them, since I come in through the back.
Ceejay - We'll don't overdo it when you go into the office. You can only do so much.
