Good Morning Ladies!!!!

Changed my avatar this morning we finally got to ride yesterday, though it was only in town but I finally got to get her out
Today is suppose to be alot nicer and we are going for a ride out of town, but a little later it is still only like 25 degrees out right now

Well we had our pre river party last night and lucky me had a few mich ultras and tried a couple new shots last night, they were good....

Got our son all moved into his apartment Friday night and then I went to the Dollar store and bought him $52.00 (everything is a $1) worth of stuff, but just moving in by himself he had nothing so needed to buy all the household stuff and it was alot cheaper on me there than walmart.... So when I told him I bought him a bunch of household stuff he said "What about Food" I told him I would go to grocery store with him but he would have to help pay for his own food that is part of being on your own now, but the nice mother that I am, I did pay for his grocery bill toooo.

I will get my exercise in today before we leave actually as soon as I get off here, I am going for a walk hopefully outside but it might have to be on treadmil.

Holly have you gotten 30 Day Shred yet? Whats up Doc was a hiliarious movie and like you said even without all the profanity and nudity

Hope everyones Sunday is going great!!!

Holly, I agree with the profanity and the nudity.... I am not a prude and not against it all the time, however I guess the look back into the movies that were good and not so "nasty" is good. I think there are some movies out that would be decent if they cleaned up a bit.

I am glad you survived the ride. I felt the same way when I drove with me ex husband. At one time he was considering being an EMT.... I told him I would take my chances and wait on the next ambulance....... he was that bad of a driver.

Chopper Chick, it is the mother in us. I tell my son all the time (the 19 year old) he is going to have to pay for (whatever) for himsef if he is going to be an adult. Of course, I never stick to it-- although saving for Vegas has made me tighten the money reins a little. That is just part of our maternal instinct I believe-- to take the burden off of them. It kills me if I know he is out somewhere and does not have money to eat on. Tightening the reins on the money was a must for Vegas though, I have NEVER been on a vacation like that. I take business trips for coding and things like that, but I have never taken 2 weeks out of my life and stopped work to go somewhere.

Mandy is your husband still sore?

good evening ladies! ChopperChick, that was very nice of you to foot the bill for the groceries I'm sure I would have done the same. And one can sure get alot of stuff at the dollar store. Nice new avatar!!! you are one d*mn hot chick to ride that chopper!

Ladyrider, I sure hope you can ride to work tomorrow and Tuesday! I am afraid to jinx our run of spring-like weather by saying anything (actually for us, Spring-like is anything above 33 degrees!) but we're supposed to see low 50's on Tuesday and Wed. Thursday will be rain but in 40's; then a few days back in the 30's for day highs. But it is soooo much better than non-stop snow!

I am pretty sure (employer just has to commit and confirm) that he'll be closing the store for about 10 days, while his family goes on vacation, from mid-April to the end of April. That is very kewl news for me, because my last day was to be April 30th...so that means my end of the annoying deli job will be around the middle of next month! I had voiced that I would miss my pay, however, and employer said that he thought I should be able to get at least one week of unemployment insurance, as I will be scheduled to start the beloved summer job the first or second week of May. I'll check it out.

ChopperChick, I haven't received my Shred yet. I will check the mail tomorrow (we have a post office box, and sometimes I let a day or two go by without checking)

Hey girlies, well being bored tonight, so thought I would log on and say HI

Ladyrider I hear ya about tightening the reins on the spending, actually we were just talking about remodeling the bathroom but I told him we will have to waiuntil Oct possibly Nov because we will use all of our extra money on taking our trips this summer and just riding, even just to take rides through the summer for a day or so cost minimum $30-$40 bucks because of gas for 2 bikes and then drinks and or food. But it is worth every penny....

My avatar, well we went riding yesterday but I can't pull my bike in and out of driveway because it is a gravel/mud hole all the way and we have a long driveway so DH has to take out to the road for me so when we got home and he pulled his to the garage I told him to grab camera so he could get a picture of me so I could change my avatar as I have had the same one since Aug 08. I hope to get more soon now that I will get to ride more.

Holly you get a couple of weeks off, that would be awesome, well except for the no paycheck but at least you know alittle in advance to maybe save some from your paychecks now. I would love to have a couple of weeks off where my vacation time did not have to be used to just do spring cleaning from top to bottom of the house but I don't want to use my vacation time for that so the thorough cleaning will have to wait

DH is going to take the treadmil downstairs where my bowflex is so that I can just workout when I am ready and not fret about him being home and watching or what not-- I hate exercising when people are in the house

So today I made a menu for the week and hung on the fridge, I am going to stick to plan this week. DH looked at menu and it all looked good until he got to chicken and rice then he said you better put /McDonalds.....He does not like rice but he will eat it

Well talk to everyone later have a great night

i just did Cathe's Circuit Max (the hour long cardio/strength interval one) sweaty!

gotta get ready for work. Have a great day!

oh! husband rode to work. It was still 21 degrees when he left. brrr. but it will be sunny and 40 for his ride home, nice! (yes, we Vermonters consider that 'nice' at this point!')

Good Morning Ladies!

Holly I am glad you will get a couple weeks off..... and possibly with one being with pay. What is your summer job? I hope it is not as stressing as the winter one.

Chopper Chick, I am with you on not spending vacation cleaning. I need to Spring clean, but it will get done little by little at night when DF goes to bed (earlier than me). And, I am soooooo with you on not working out in front of anyone--- except I don't mind to walk on the treadmill at work. But as far as doing an exercise DVD, I don't want anyone around. I am funny that way.

I finally have some pics..... but I have not downloaded them yet. Maybe tonight.

BTW...... I got to ride to work today. There is an overcast of clouds, but there is only a 10% chance of rain. Hope it does not rain on my baby..... I would hate to have to pull it under the front awning of a doctor's office, but don't think for a second I wouldn't! It is really supposed to be pretty tomorrow. I am going to look cute going to work in my lime green scrubs and pink chaps. lol. I get stares now..... I can imagine then.

Ladies, have a good day. I am going to get busy now. TTYL

Good evening chicks! Ladyrider, yay you got to ride! Do you have a pink jacket as well as pink chaps? cute!

My summer job is pastry baker at a private fly fishing club that is tucked away in the woods at the end of a 3 mile dirt road! It is SECLUDED. I can make just about anything I want (as long as it's good ) so it is wonderful for indulging one's creativity. I provide a lunch dessert and a dinner dessert daily, plus the breakfast muffins, coffeecake and granola. And I fill in for the breakfast/lunch cook two mornings a week, cooking breakfast, and occasionally do a lunch stint.

There is staff quarters there, so I get my own room, and I keep changes of clothes and shoes there. Also extra hair stuff, hair dryer, and makeup to repair when I arrived drenched, LOL. Also a nice place to rest if I fill in at night in the dining room.

The ride there is part of my perks! 23 miles one way, along beautiful Route 100, mountains and valleys and on the bike 99% of the time (even in the rain) and then those last 3 miles on a dirt road. I know riding that road 2X's a day has helped my skills alot.

It is a very special place and I love it. This will be my 9th season there.

Hey ChopperChick!! I got my Jillian dvd today. I am gonna preview it tonight and then do it tomorrow! I have heard to pre-medicate myself with some Ibuprofen especially that (hate to admit it ) my knees have been hurting a bit lately after doing The Biggest Loser cardio.

well I have off tomorrow, but first thing have to take my car to have something checked out, then back into town here to pay our property taxes, bleh. At least we have it. And then tomorrow is going to be sunny and maybe 50 degrees!!! I want to do some outside cleanup, and I just wonder if I might be able to get my bike out, through the remaining ice and mud and take her out I will sure let you know if I do. The only thing I am nervous about is all the loose crap on the roads. I just might make myself wait until after we've had some rain. I'm anxious and jonesing, but know to be cautious.

have a great night!

I did get to ride today. It was a bit nippy this AM, but I am probably preaching to the choir since our 53 is almost summer to you. Lol.
I guess I better stick to my medical job b/c I would be over a 1000 pounds if I were a pastry chef! I would not be on the hawt biker site, it would be the over 1000 pounds and wished she could ride site.

It is funny you ask about the jacket. I had a bid on ebay for it. It was on sale and everything just like the chaps.... but right after I placed the bid and had been outbid once, something told me to ask my coworkers if it would be too much pink. One of them said, you would look like a bottle of Pepto Bismol coming down the road...... and she is right. If you look at the HD Charisma color, if you had the jacket and chaps on..... with a black or white helmet-- it is soooo a bottle. So, I am wearing my son's jacket (yep, I fit in it-- go momma), (I went from a 3XL to a men's large........) until I can find the exact black jacket I want. And, since today was the first day I rode that my "doctor" was there, he said the pink jacket would have been a little much.

I hope all of you ladies get to ride soon! I know how it is to have one and have to watch the temp gage to ride.

Oh, one more thing. I am making a concerted effort to "zip" my abs up and sit up straighter on my bike-- trying to condition a little before Vegas...... and my fiance noticed...... he said with the weight loss, I straddle the bike differently now. This is so "Susan Powdters" I am telling my age.... .but when he said that, I so thought to myself, "he ex husband that weighs 135-- my thighs do not rub together or touch on my bike". (Stop the insanity in the early 90s.... right when my weight issues began.

Have a good night, I am done rambling.

Tammy - that is so funny about looking like the Pepto bottle...I'm glad you had others give you that input

Oh and about the tracker...try clicking on your User CP, then choose Edit Signature. I think it will give you directions there.

Well just got home from an afternoon-evening ride, it was so nice today we reached 70 degrees But the rest of the week will now be 40-50's I believe darn but it sure was nice riding today... Had to wear leathers on the way home but that is what they are for.= Lots of deer out tonight so we really had to keep our eyes peeled..... No close calls which is great

Tammy I think it was Wilson Leater online that had a white leather coat with a pink stripe through the middle of the coat, this might look good with your chaps and sure would break up the pink. I do believe it is Hot Leathers that also has a white with pink and also a black with pink stripe through middle of coat, do some searching I know you will find something.
Tammy that is awesome 3XL to L you go girl....

Holly 30 Day Shred really works your knees and legs well shoot all over. But if your knees are hurting make sure you take it easy...

If you are going to start tomorrow then so am I so tomorrow will be Day 1 30 Day Shred need to get my butt in gear... I am also starting "Great Strides" it is an 8 week walking program so my sister and I will start that on Monday need all the extra I can get
Sandie roads well they are not the best to ride on, we have very sandie roads right now but I am just as careful as can be especially when I am turning corners.

I will check back in tomorrow have a great night

good morning!! and Happy St. Patrick's Day

I got up very early (car appt at 9:00 25 miles away) so I could make sure to do my first day of the 30 Day Shred. I am happy to say that I got through it alright, I think my working out with the hardcore Cathe has really toughened me up

I also took measurements last night, I will wait exactly one month and measure again. I dug out my old measurement charts ( I had hubster word-process them for me) and I haven't measured since May of '06! Sad to say I am up in all areas, but not too bad. Biggest is two+ inches in the hips; two inches in waist; one inch bigger in thighs; calf (ugh!! they can't get any bigger) and arms. And even sadder to say bust is no bigger

talk atcha later!

Happy St Pattys Day!!!

Well I will do my first day today when I get home from work. I just can't get out of bed any earlier and usually if I do it right away when I get home noone else is here....

My measurements are up as well but hopefully the 30 day shred will get them right back down to where they should be.

It is actually suppose to get up to 60 today so I may just get to ride alittle today as well but just around town today.

Have a great day
