HI girlies!!!! Taking some time to log on today for a bit.....seems like it has been a couple of weeks..

Sounds like everyone is doing wonderful, I wish I was one that was able to get bike out and ride in that 60 degree weather but this has been a very cold below zero month We are however picking out bike colors for my husbands motocycle, his is standard black right now and well it is time to get it painted but not sure on a color yet...... Need to decide because it goes to shop after we get back from vacation

Oh and vacation we leave in 9 days but actually vacation starts for me in 6 days whoppiiiiii

I am also not following any certain plan but I am watching what I eat and the whole portion control thing is huge..... I honestly know what is bad and good for me it is just doing the right thing....

Nutrisystem- I know a few people that have done that and it does work but as soon as they quit the pre-packaged food and do it on their own they have gained but that is their own fault it really it......

Ok well I suppose I should get off my butt and get some work done, will start trying to log in daily again

Have a Great Weekend

Happy Saturday!!

Did a Circuit Training class this morning - I have to do 5 of them in order to start teaching them. This was #4....they really are a good workout. It's a mix of strength machines and cardio machines that you switch every minute to the next machine. The class was FULL...prolly cause it was raining this morning...clearing up, now.

My eating has been hit and miss when it comes to staying on plan...I think my plan is just keep swimming....

As for Nutrisystem....I've never really seen the point. How do you learn how to eat by having it mailed to you? And I can only imagine what it tastes like...

Reda....vacation is coming!!

Holly - you can be on the just keep swimming plan with me.

Mandy - free trainer - that rawks! I have good days and bad days as well with weight training...for me it has a lot to do with my protein/carb/fat ratios and how much crap I've consumed. Try and figure out what you do on the days where it seems easy and do more of that.

scarahjs - hope the kidney stone thing has resolved itself...that sux!! Good for you staying OP thru all of that.

"Just Keep Swimming Plan" - that's good!! and is what I'll do

Yesterday did Keli Robert's Step aerobics tape, with ankle weights and hand held weights to make it harder. Which does the trick. Not sure what I'll do this morning, before I go to work.

Have a great day chicks and keep swimming

Is anyone here staying away from peanut butter? There hasn't been any recalls (yet) of individual jars...and I figure anything we have here in the house has already been tasted and we're not sick.

Just had some peanut butter...according to the news it isn't the peanut butter you buy by itself....it's stuff that has peanut butter in it. Here's a link to recalled stuff and the story according to the FDA. The only thing I might have gotten nailed with was Zone bars...as far as I could see...and I didn't happen to have any peanut butter flavored ones on hand. So I'm not trippin'.

I should prolly eat less peanut butter...but that's only cause I've been a lil too into it lately.

I never really heard of women getting them either. It seems like anyone I ever knew was only men.

So yesterday was my first opportunity to get back at the gym and I did the exact same routine and it felt completely different. My form was almost perfect, I wasn't near as exhausted and I am not quite as sore. I could see this happening after a couple weeks of the routine but this fast??? I don't get it.
I would say in some ways it was more painful then labor just because the pain wouldn't go away. At least with contractions you have a little break in between them

I'm glad your feeling better from your first workouts. Keep it up!

I did pass my stone on Saturday morning and didn't even feel it. I guess when it moves down is when the pain is the worse. I'm glad that is over!
I did workout yesterday but not today. I couldn't get out of bed. Hopefully tomorrow I will. I have ate really good this last week except for last night, I got hungry for sooo much junk food. I was at MIL and ate a small Slim Jim, Pringles and a Little Debbie Cake thing. I felt horrible after that. But today is a new day and I am eating healthier. It is also TOM time so I think that is what caused my cravings. Have a great day everyone!!

good evening! GOOD to hear that the stone is gone, scarahjs!! ohmy, doesn't TOM create the strongest cravings for junk...there was a lady here on 3FC that had such a good solution, she just regularly worked out extra a day or two before TOM and she felt that helped work off the inevitable extra calories she's take in.

Thanks for those links, Gina! I could dip into pb all day long if it wasn't loaded with calories. But I know it's an acceptable protein source, so I've been having 1 TBSP on whole grain toast for breakfast, i love love love it with my coffee.

Had another OP day today I shock myself sometimes. I guess as long as the OP days outnumber the not-OP ones, I'm ahead a little. When I'm working out, and it disappoints me to see the extra flesh and fat, it's hard not to just give up...but I tell myself that I am making muscles, that will shine through once I get some of the extra flesh and fat off

and I do appreicate the good it does to keep me flexible and limber.

well have a good night!! I have off tomorrow, getting my hair cut and highlighted

good morning chicks Just finished my workout, I did Gilad's Step and Tone.

Does anybody know about that "PB2" that is advertised over in the margin-->

I checked their website..I guess it's a powdered peanut butter that you add water to?

besides getting my hair cut/highlighted, I want to hit a few thrift shops. I'm sick of what I wear all the time, and I literally rotate between 2 pair of jeans and a layered melange of tops that I feel I'm hiding under. I still want to hide, but under some new stuff. Of course if I were a pounds smaller, I would be in all my other jeans and small tops I really didin't mean that mad face. I'm accepting of what I've done and where I am

Okay me again It was sooo nice driving around with the full sunshine today, even though it never got above freezing. Got my hair done, looks good, and she even charged me $15 less for some reason! but I always tip her 20%. Also bought two huge bottles of good 'poo and conditioner.

Didn't have as much luck thrift-shopping, I couldn't decide between 2 coats so I got both, for $2 each how can you go wrong. No jeans this time but maybe next time.

Wow Holly awesome deal on the coats You will need to post pic of new hair cut I to am thinking of getting my cut but again really short like where I can spike it in the back short.... I haven;t decided yet but I will probably do it just because it will always grow back, right???? Are you getting excited for your trip coming up in Feb.? At this time in exactly one week, well I will probably already be in bed because of the drinking on the plane and then the drinking when we get to resort.....You know first day there usually gets alittle out of control

Well I have not been doing so great these last few days, actually got on scale and up about 5 pounds and I let this happen right before vacation, what the heck (choice other words) am I doing I have been doing well thoughout the day and then at night everyone always wants to go out for supper and all, I have been getting home late so of course it is time to eat with no time to cook

I guess I will just have to work extra hard when I get back from vacation

Great Job staying OP and to both you and Gina for keeping up on your exercise!!!
Well I suppose I do have some work to get done yet tonight but wanted to drop in for a bit
Have a great HUMP DAY tomorrow

Good morning and I hope no one is feeling (too badly) the effects of the storm that's going across the country...I *guess* I'd rather deal with the forthcoming 10 go 16 inches of snow rather than the ice...ack to both!

ooooo, Reda's heading to SUN and WARMTH in a week!! Yay!!!!

Just finished Cathe's Step and Invervals, which is 9 minutes active warmup, 21 minutes very active step aerobics, and there is a chest workout but I skipped that because I did alot of upper body weights yesterday with Gilad...then finished with ab work.

Food-wise, I think I am doing Okay with being mindful of calories and carbs. Just need to keep it going long - term!

have a great day everyone

I will have to try working out more and see if that will help. Thanks for the great idea!!

That really does not sound good. If you ever try it let me know what it taste like. Powdered PB just doesn't sound right.

That is a great deal!! I love going to thrift-shops to see if I can find some good deals.

It's vacation, your alowed to get crazy!!

Well I once again didn't get up to workout today. I feel bad about it, but for some reason I have been soooooo tired in the mornings. I just need to get my butt moving again. I am still eating OP. We had about 3 inches of snow this morning, so I got a little workout shoveling out my car and sidewalks. Well have a great day everyone!!!

I have seen people rave about PB2. It was over on Spark people, they loved it.

My husband bought me a jacket and gloves for Christmas, the sent the wrong size so I had to send it back, the new one arrived today WOOHOO I am so excited. It should come in handy this Saturday since the high will be 59 when we plan to ride, now all I need is the helmet I want. An extra surprise, the gloves I wanted, they siad were out of stock and would not be in the shippment and would be sent later, well they were in the box.

This is my gear....
