kathy, i am glad you weren't ill last night. sure hope you get some rest tonight.

frouf, congratulations on losing those lbs, girl!!!!!! i am so happy for you. being sick isn't a good way to lose weight, but i'd take it. i try to stay off the puter late at night, too. seems i get wide awake in just a few minutes of surfing. i'm glad the dancers didn't get hurt with the glass. that's scarey.

curtis did the 4f with me today. he didn't enjoy it as much as i do. i told him that when he goes, we'll walk in the park instead of the 4f spot. there are some port-a-potties there so i'd be all right. my feet are hurting quite a bit right now. i honestly don't know which is worse. the doctor is planning to operate on the right one but the left is hurting more at the moment. we're doing catscans next week prior to surgery. i'm going to have look and decide which to do next thursday. i am soooo ready to be pain free.

vickie, if you're hurting as much as i am, you need to think about getting your feet "cleaned." i'll keep you posted on my tootsies.

Hey Chicks! I'm home and very tired. I'm about to go lay down on the couch for a while and contemplate dinner. I'm thinking it will not be very healthy. We are both pretty darn stressed. Nothing happened.....just anticipation. We spent the whole day running around and are now tired. We have lots of TV on DVR and will be watching under our blankies tonight. I'll answer posts in the morning.

I hope you all have a great evening. I'll be watching Idol.

Vickie, I thought I'd let you know...I finally made your tamale pie tonight, and dh raved about it! He's not too enthralled with a lot of Core foods, so this was a major thing.

I hope everyone gets a chance to relax tonight...

FINALLY HOME!!!

We had a "girl's night out" for our clients and it went WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY later than it was supposed to. I guess no one else had anywhere to go??

I'm sorry but I'm not going to respond to posts right now. I'm so tired and there's laundry, lunches to pack, etc, etc, etc.....

A big to Vickie!

Melissa, I know what you mean about being tired, girl. My day starts at 6:00 and ends around 11:00 or midnight, and there's nothing but running in between. I'd love some down time right about now. I'm sorry you had to stay so late. It's no fun, is it?

I just finished cooking dinner and it's nearly 8:00. I still have some laundry to do for work tomorrow. Fortunately, Judd's lunch will be easy because I took the whole loaf of bread to work today and keep a jar of PB in my desk. He has no idea! Now I just have to remember to take his vegetables when I pack up my lunch tomorrow.

Just a few minutes until AI! I hope Kevin leaves tonight but I'm afraid it'll be Bucky instead.

Ugh! The dog yiped at 3:30 in the morning and got both Jim and me up. She seems fine and is wondering why we won't give her breakfast. I told Jim we couldn't feed her until her regular time or she'd wake us up at 3:30 every day. We'll be exhausted the rest of the day since neither of us could go back to sleep. I decided to come on here and try to catch up.

Kathy, you poor thing! I sure hope you don't get sick. No one can run efficiently on that little sleep. I guess I shouldn't be complaining after reading about your day yesterday. My life will be like yours when Jim has his surgery. I'll be running constantly. I'm contemplating a cleaning service while he recuperates. I feel sorry for Judd with his nightmares but I feel sorrier for you! My goodness.....what a HORRIBLE way to be awakened. And of course NO ONE could go back to sleep after that. I remember how hard it was to be at work after a bad night's sleep. My work was largely reading affidavits and documentation and there were times I could feel my poor little eyes crossing! I hope you had uninterrupted sleep last night for MANY hours. I'm also thrilled that Kevin is gone. I think I accurately predicted the bottom 3 for last night.

Saundra, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. It's not easy to learn new things. I talked with our receptionist about the lack of computerization. She says they are starting to computerize WW but she's dreading it. So maybe there is hope for your area soon. I can only believe that will make things easier and faster.

Frouf, you sound like you had a much better (although busy) day yesterday. And, you got paid which is really why you go to work, right?! How scary for the girls that the light fell from overhead! I sure hope they checked everything else out. I'd be a little freaked out if that had happened where my daughter dances. on your loss! It sounds like you are doing all the right things to keep it moving in the right direction. You are right around the corner from the one hundreds!

Melissa, ugh, what a horribly long day for you too. There will be lots of tired ladies here on this board today. Any new house possibilities?

Sandra, Jim and I love being under our blankies. Cassie likes it too. Jim sits on the right end of the couch and I lay on my left side on the couch next to him to watch TV. I say "Mommy's got blankie" and Cassie will come running from where ever she is to jump up on my side and curls up and lays down on me. Pretty darn cute and good for my blood pressure.

Angela, I'm SO tickled that your DH liked the tamale pie! Did you like it too? I haven't had any in a while so it's time for me to make it again. I love having lunch sized portions in the freezer for lunches. It really sticks to my ribs and makes me feel like I'm having real Mexican food.

I'm actually caught up for the moment so I'll go post a menu thread.

Vickie, I loved the tamale pie too! I don't usually care for polenta, but as a crust underneath all that yummy stuff, it was great. It really doesn't feel like a "diet" food. And the spices are just perfect. I didn't put in the olives or chiles, to accomodate the children.

It looks to be a cloudy, gloomy day here. I've got laundry and shopping to do. Whee.

Later,
Angela

Hi friends,
It's going to be a long day today. I'm still exhausted from yesterday and I have to make two different 45 minute trips today. I'm hoping for little else to do though. Hopefully the day will go quickly. DH has promised me a "fun" evening, which will probably include eating out, knowing us.

Vickie, sorry to hear that you were awakened so early! Cassie probably heard something. Murphy does that sometimes, especially if an ambulance or something goes by. I hope that you get to catch up on your rest.

I hope that everyone has a great day.

Good Morning,

I made an appointment for a pedicure (which I was going to cancel), but I am going to go at 10:00. It will be my spring coming out.

Vickie, sounds like Cassie really is your BABY. The kids tell me that Natan kept coming into their bed at about 3:00, so they finally put his bed in their room and now he feels secure there. It seems to be working for them. The joys of little kids and doggies.

Melissa, hope you at least had fun with the girls. Sometimes I find that there isn't enough of that any more. Of cours, I do love being with the guys in my family, but last week with my sister was such a nice change.

Kathy, I don't know anyone who works as many hours as you do. I'm going to have to send the union boys in there to organize your outfit. Bernie sometimes yells out during the night, but doesn't get up or move things around. Usually, I give him a jab in the back....I'm so kind.

Sandra, I guess you are out walking, how is the weather? It's finally getting better here and right now the sun is shining even though they predict rain today.

Frouf, good scale new for you, keep it up. Sometimes an illness gets the ball rolling and the loss can motivate us to continue the loss. Did dd have the performance yet? Where is the stage?

Better go, before I am late, later,

Morning, all! I'm a little late getting on here because of course as soon as I walked in this morning there were things to do right away.

I slept a little better but am still a little tired. Sounds like that will be the theme of the day for us all! A Whole Bunch of Tired Chicks on a Diet ...

No time to stay ... they're already harping on something else so I'd better scoot. Hope to be back in a while.
