hi guys!

well i guess the cake finally found me cuz although i have been walking and going to the gym I am at 229 ... i'm with u Val time to buckle down and get back on the losing side of things... I got new shoes !!! ( Mizuno's they are white pink & gray) so maybe that will inspire me to get outta bed in the am and move! lol

i went last nite and got my hair trimmed again.. i dont think i will ever let it grow back out long now its just too easy to deal with shorter... its a chin length curly bob one day i will get around to gettin a pic so u guys can see!

geez the weekend was crazy... we are all trying to clean out my grandmothers house (what a packrat) and trying to get it emptied out so it can go on the market : ( just keep reminding myself its just bricks & wood ...

i am excited tho becuz I am going to have her family room furniture, and its brand new... wooo hoo dont think i have ever had any new furniture in my life!!! so i am working on painting my ceiling and shampooing my carpet before i move the new stuff in...

in other exciting news.. my dad is building a garage and is going to build me an apartment over top wooooo hoooo! i wil be so happy to get out of this mobile home!

Good to see u back Petra.. would u like some kittens ????

I like your new shoe Curly! I need a new pair myself. I talked to someone at Bally's today but didn't join. They were really hard selling the 2 year membership at $39 a month. I really can't afford that with my Curves membership. I'm still sad that Womens Work out World closed.

I have a new foster Kitty who is a real sweetie! His name is Simba.

Hi girls!!!....I'M BAACK!!!! from vacation that is!!! I had a great time although we ran out of time....we had sooo much we had wanted to do and the time just flew by. The driving time went well, we divided the first day for the 12 hr and the second day for the 6 hrs. Thank goodness for all the electronic gadgets the boys had. Also proud to say they also read 3-4 books each. Family is all good and boy have they grown, the boys cousins that is..... , one little one was only 3 months old last time we were there and now he is almost 4.5 yo !!! Can't believe he's walking and talking!!! I def. wasn't OP but didn't do too badly either....I tried to balance it all out with occasional desserts added in. I won't weigh in for a little while though, as TOM is here. (blech...) I'll read up all the posts and get caught up later.....NICE TO BE BACK!!

Welcome back Angel! We missed you!

I had another high day here with 2157 calories. At least I did my cardio and weights. I joined Bally's today for 3 days a week. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 3 days a week there is the same as everyday a Womens Work out World. Too bad they closed I'll miss them.

Hi girls.....I've been lurking since coming off of holidays. I sure have been struggling, one big major carb fest after another. I really have to get my head straight and think about my goals and where I want to be with my weight and health. I went for a mammogram just before I went on holidays and received a message (via my machine) when we got back saying they found something and I had to have more intensive tests. Thankfully I had these done a few days ago and everything is fine but it really did a head number on me and my stress was off the charts!!! I really REALLY need to get focused!!!!

I've been struggling also. I've been averaging around 2000 calories a day so it's no wonder I'm not loosing weight no matter how much I'm working out.

Angel I'm so glad your tests turned out to be ok!

I discovered some Tofu noodles today that I like quite a bit. They're only 3 carbs and 20 calories a serving. They do smell a little funky when they first come out of the water filled bag. If you hard boil them for 5 minutes the smell pretty much goes away.

OK I say we come up with a challenge... ya know when we counted points (eggs) it was a pain in the backside... BUT we all lost a lot of weight doing it...maybe we should try it again??

My birthday is oct 14th... and i have decided that I HAVE to, must be, gotta be (lol) in Onderland that day......... so I am going back to tracking all my food, exercise points etc like we did for the eggs .. its the only way i can get myself back on track .... total accountability

it was with great fear that i stepped on the scale this morning ... even closed 1 eye ... and dont ask me why i sucked in my stomch... (hmmm i dont think that makes u weigh less... but shoot cant hurt) anyways the dammage wasnt tooooo bad "228"
however looking back at my stats I should have made better progress than this... so not gonna beat myself up...

We know what we have to do... we just have to get re-dedicated so if anyone wants to jump in and grit ur teeth .. and join me in total accountabilty..

this means posting calories, posting exercise time, and water consumption... and in my case carb numbers...

lets get crackin!!!

Its been really nice to just sit back and read up on the posts and see how everyone is doing BUT NOW ITS TIME to get back OP. Its been prolly about 3 weeks since I was at the gym last. (1 week of after holidays, 1 week of holidays and then 1 week of a nasty head cold) SO TODAYS THE DAY!!! no more excuses!!! Come on....lets get this party started!!!

Curly.....WHAASUP?.....what about this new contest/challenge then??

Congratulations to everyone one who lost, everyone who got their excercise minutes in.....and to all of you for sticking through it. And thanks for all of you for hanging in there for me to realize that sooner or later it will catch up to me and I don't want to sit on the sidelines and watch all of you blur by me in the weightloss dept!!!! Here's to a great day!!!
