ugghhh 5:30 am my eyes just wanna go shut... i know i have to get out there and get those 3 miles over with.... cant keep being a slug... must be dedicated!!! jumped on the scale this morning 224.6

ok ok i am going ............ DONE!!!

OK I WAS THINKING WHILE I WAS WALKING... yeah i know scary huh? but we should all be really proud of ourselves even tho we have gone thru a "slow time" as far as motivation none of us has really gained a "lot" of weight or totally reverted back to our old habits... I think this will be our test... to see if we can get back to being totally dedicated ... if so then will make it...

if we can take a break and gain a few lbs BUT get back OP .. then we have had a really good lesson in maintenance.... woooo hoooo

sounds better than we got lazy doesnt it ??? hahahaha

have a great OP day! think i am safely back on the wagon! (fingers crossed)

Hey girls....I'm checking in also!! Yesterday was a great day for me, first in a long while for staying OP AND.....I even made it to the gym. That being said though, I hurt myself. I was more gung than ho and strained my hamstring muscles!!! Silly really, thought I could do a bendover excercise with weights when I should have not used them. Today is a killer....just walking hurts (and don't get me started on the stairs!!) but went walking outside (nice and slow pace) with a gf and tried to stretch things out a bit. After walking, we caught a bite to eat at subway.....a nice light lunch and very little temptation. So far so good with day #2. I'm feeling much better about being back on track.

BTW...I'm in for the spooktacular punkin challenge!!! Nice to see some daily posts!!!

Petra.....Hope your move is going well!!! Don't forget about us here

Hi girls......Not sure if I mentioned this but also with my pulled hamstrings.....I had a yeast infection!!! blech!!! but I am very happy to say, that since falling back into a balanced (thanks jillian) carb/protein food ratio, my sugar cravings ARE ALL GONE!!!.....AND I'M KICKING THE YEAST INFECTION TO THE CURB!!!! And I might add, no more Zantac either for indigestion!!! YEAH ME!!! Hamstrings are on the mend, although stairs still do a number on me.

Dh is away working for Saturday...(been away since Wed morning) so its just the boys and I. Think we might take in a movie, been ages since we saw something. Have to go shopping for ds, his PE teacher told him his running shoes....(REAL runners shoes....) are not acceptable for gym class. apparently the elastic cord/toggle closure are not the "norm" and he MUST have laces !!!! Maybe coach would like to buy him the next pair

Curly....How's the foot? still swollen? yikes, remember to prop it up. btw, how's the internet co doing? Don't be discouraged, it'll pay off!!!

Valerie.... How are you doing? You are doing a great job. Hard work though with working fulltime, but keep at it.

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!!!

hey angel! i was startin to think i was talkin to myself here lol... well went to another dr today. its not a stress fracture its a ligament issue.. dr says u see it a lot in "BIG GIRLS" guess the ligaments get tired of holding too much body up or something.. actually i think its from overdoing on the leg press machine.. so he gave me naproxen and said try that and come back next week and give me some more money.... hahaha

i said big girls?????? @@#$^^%^ ive lost a ton of weight and i exercise everyday???? WTH??? hehe and he said yes i see that and u look awesome!!! did i mention this dr would make ya just drool all over ur self?

food is good and i did manage to get out and do 2 miles walking today..

i told my family dr today i plan to lose 30 lbs by halloween ... he just kinda nodded so now i have to do it just to prove i can hahahaha

hmmm, know the feeling!!! Last summer I booked an eye appt. since the last one I had was over 5 yrs ago.....and he said "congratulations" , well not knowing what he was talking about. He went on to say that I was right on target for 45 yo, and bifocals were suggested. The Dr. then said, that I was right on the border, and could get away with magnigfying glasses (think cheap dollar store glasses) for 1.5 strength. So thats what I did....went and spent a whole dollar for a pair of reading glasses!!! So far so good. He still gave me a prescription for glasses, just in case. Hope you're okay with them....just another part of mid life.

yep thats what the dr told me yesterday also i could continue with my contacts for distance and just get some reading glasses from the store... or use 1 contact for up close and 1 contact for distance.. I went for the bi-focals becuz they were having a half-price on lenses sale and got the progressives..

how is the program going angel... i just got back from my work out gotta go find some dinner...

uh....its not!! Had a really bad pity party for me today. So no...not going well. Dh sprang on me yesterday that he knows of a job position open (with the same co.) and he might want to go for it. It would mean moving AGAIN....but we would be so much closer to home. Lots of mixed feelings about it and unfortunately, they got the better of me today. Tommorow I have a field day with ds and his grade 3 class....so that will take my mind off of things for awhile.

Hi girls..uh er Curly. I've been lurking the last couple of days and feeling really out of control. Lots and lots of stress. Do you ever get the feeling of an extreme sense of "being overwhelmed"? Not sure even how to explain it but sometimes even the smallest of details seem so huge! I never made it to the gym after yesterdays fieldtrip but I am dressed and ready to go NOW!!! Something...ANYTHING...has to be better than doing nothing.

Listen to this: I was waiting at an office this morning and there was this dad playing with his twin babies( 4 months). So cute....he's going on and on about how they didn't know until the last 3 weeks that his wife was even having twins, just thought one baby. While he's waiting, she finally finishes up her appt and comes out of the office and I was in shock!!!....she was about the size of a 13 yo....like maybe a size 2!!!!...def. hovering around the 100 lb soaking wet range!!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE??? She was wearing these low slung jeans, belly ring and showing about 5 inches of her tummy. HOLY COW!!!! Anyway...just had to share that.
