Default New to all this

I just joined up iwith MRC, and I can see after one day of preconditioning that unless something changes, I am going to be hungry. I hope the food class this Friday afternoon helps with that. My hubbie and I went to the grocery store tonight, and I can see I am going to have to search for some of the recommended items (we live near Longview, TX).
Goals for the month:
stay off caffeine and sugar and get enough sleep!

I understand your frustration. I just had my menu tweaked a bit this week b/c my scale didn't budge at my last weigh in. I would take a look at your food diary and see if you could change anything. I don't know what menu you are on, but I am on metabalance & was told a few things to help with a plateau: max out clear HNS, limit creamies to 3 a week (vanilla wafers were my vice), limit exercise to no more than 4hrs a week, limit water to 96oz a day. Of course, this was what was advised to me, but I hope that it helps you out a bit. I would speak to someone at MRC if it last longer than a week. Sometimes this also happens if you have a big loss the week before.

I hope the food instruction helps. Depending on your menu, you will probably still have a good amount of food to eat at every meal & also your HNS in between meals. I hope that brings a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel

I haven't checked in for several days. Finally broke the plateau and lost 6 pounds last week!
I'm now down 37 pounds and 34.5 inches since Jan. 18th. My mini-goal is to lose 50 pounds by Memorial Day. We're going to Phoenix to visit friends and play in the pool! Can't wait to show off the weight loss so far.

Still haven't dropped a single pant size. Really frustrated with that. My jeans are constantly falling off, but the next size down is so tight I can't breathe! It will come in time I suppose.

sooo since I started back i've been on preconditioning for the last couple of days, and then I go for WI (fingers crossed) tomorrow. After tomorrow, since I didn't gain any weight back while Off-Program, I'll go back OP. Sooo excited to start seeing results! Hope everyone is having a great day and staying OP!

So total I've lost about 16 pounds...how much does it generally take to go down in clothes sizes? I feel like I'm peeing all the time. Went from eating out all the time to this strict diet and it's been great. Just started the plan today. I was dreading the drinks, but I am actually loving them! Can't wait to have a tracker...they are so cute!
I have read you change sizes around 20lbs.. I have lost 22lbs and my clothes are deff alot bigger on me! I was already a lil too big for the clothes.so im thinking by 30lbs lost I will deff. need smaller pants! One sad thing is i have deff. lost in the boobarea LOL I mean I dont mind be a LIL smaller but i dont want them ALL to go away lol.. I get worried..

Hi all.. I've been MIA lately. Just kind of struggling with the program. I'm going to go face the music today. I keep putting off going, because I know I haven't lost. I figure it's time to quit putting it off and get back on program. I'm going to ask about Metabalance.. Maybe changing up the program will help some. Wish me luck...

Good Luck! I took a month off..and im going to weight in today also!! Im a lil disappointed in MRC b/c they said they had all kinds of classes to keep me motivated but in 3months they had ONE class. Some kind of cooking class..but it really wasn’t what i would consider a cooking class. You would think the scale would keep us motivated but real life seems to creep in for me..then I so easily stray! I hope we both get back on track!

Yes, you have some so far, so finding a way, a tweak, anything to move past your fear and hit it head on is awesome. If you have suffered a set-back, just get to fixing it. You have already proven you can do it! All the Best!

Got back from WI.. only up .5 lb.. WAY better than I thought it would be.. I'm going to try Metabalance for a while and see if that work as a tweak.. So far the menu is very different from Meta-Slim. Any advice from you Metabalance girls out there?

Bunny.. our doesn't have many classes either. I'm always looking for ways to learn or deal with my "baggage". You would think the scale would motivate us more.. Maybe it's tasting the forbidden fruit. Once you have that bite, lick or taste of something, It makes you want to eat other things off program. Good Luck.. Hope your WI went good..

Thanks Joy... I know I can always count on you girls to understand what I'm going through.. My darn skinny friends just don't get it..

Here's to a great rest of April.. We can do it... Ready to recommit... Hopeing I can actually hit the 50lb'd mark..

Did you get the paper from them about how a plateau is good and you might even gain a little in the beginning? If so reread it and it may comfort you. If not I'll try to remember to grab mine and tell you what it said. You're one your way to a loss and possibly a big one just keep your head up and keep moving forward.

I went to the MetaBalance plan last week. I think I like having the in between snacks and that has helped me not to cheat or eat off plan. They did tell me the weight loss would be a little slower, but I figured that it can't be any worse then me eating carbs, candy and all the other junk I was eating and slowing my weightloss down anyway. As one of my councelour's put it, I was supplementing my program<G>.. so this has actually helped alot so I think you will like it. I was told to try it for a couple weeks and see how it goes. If it doesn't work I can always go back to Meta slim.. I hope I don't since I only have 6 lbs to go..

Cheers!

Ronnie
