I also drank a ton of water, all my HNS and walked miles and miles and miles. I lost 11lbs in two weeks on that trip. Crazy.
This trip (and many others between then and now) i've planned to do as good as I could, but not be too worried about it. I always take HNS with me, in case I have cravings (i still try not to snack too much off plan, thats dangerous for me), but mostly I try to eat "smart" and not worry about the rest too much. I didn't do the fat and carb blocker because I was worried about the bathroom thing too, and I am all about being responsible for my choices. I CHOOSE to eat ice cream...i'm gonna gain a little weight. I am really working to teach myself to balance this time around. If I have a few days out of town where I'm kinda free with what I eat, I'd better be ready to buckle down when I get back.

That being said...I gained 4lbs while traveling. Thats exactly what I expected. It'll all fall off this week and I'll be back on track. No worries
thnx so much! I am thinking the same also...I know it's my choice and I know the consequence <sp?> but I do want to enjoy some of the food I have missed from the south

Ok tomorrow I am going to order those Protein bars and see if they can get me through this. I will not resign again.. I feel like a real loser and not in a good way I am just letting my mind and my stupid cravings get in my way of losing a few pounds.. I haven't been to the center this week either. I need to get there tomorrow and weigh in and suck it up again.. Thanks or all your kind and helpful responses.. That is the kind of thing that will make the difference..

Cheers!

Ronnie

I guess I am not alone in this.. Why is it when we are so close we are yet so far? We can do it.. I know we can..

Deb & Ronnie - I know you can do it girls! Hang in there and keep the negative thoughts out of your head. Negativity doesn't help you lose weight, in fact I think that attitude has alot to do with success. What you put out there is what you'll get back...put out negativity and you'll get it back. Keep your chin up, smile when you drink that HNS and KNOW that weight will come off!

Hey, on a positive note, isn't absolutely how SPECTACULAR and VARIED they can make PROTEIN taste! It makes this whole process so much easier, not to mention tastier! I say, WHO NEEDS REAL CHOCOLATE ANYWAY?

I'm back from Peru and went straight to weigh in. I ate on plan as best i could, but wasn't totally able to. I took tons of C&F blockers, drank 8+ waters every day and always maxed HNS and did a fiber a day.

The good news is, I didn't feel like i was too obsessive about eating on plan, strayed a little but didn't indulge which helped me really feel like this is sustainable and i'll be just fine on maintenance. The other good news is I didn't gain any weight, but weighed in at the same I was before I left. However, I think I was retaining a bunch of water from all the flying, so I think i actually might have lost a bit.

I started this morning on meta quick to help kickstart my body into ketosis again and am hoping to have a really good loss week when the water comes off.

It's time to really focus now as i'm in week 10 of 24 and am only about a third of the way there in terms of weight. I really really want to do this without having to do extra weeks!

Oh and in case anyone is interested, customs and TSA didn't even notice the enormous supply of HNS, Fibers, Pills and Meal Bars I had on me.

Hope everyone is having a great april!

Just checking in... I haven't been here in forever!

Wow GWE... Big congrats to you on completing a half marathon.. that is awesome... I'm still chugging along in prego world... 11 weeks to go to delivery day (planned c-section)... Glad to see you're still sticking with it and doing well... Take Care.

Congrats to all others on their great progress!

I'll be back when all this is over to finish my weight loss journey... hopefully I will not have added to many lbs to that during this pregnancy :0)

Smile New to MRC

Hello all,
I just signed up with MRC on Monday. One of my coworkers has lost almost 40 lbs since November with MRC. So I thought I would check it out. Well after 3 days on preconditioning I lost 5.5 lbs! I know a lot of that is water...but it is still extremely motivating. I have almost 70 lbs to lose and it is so inspiring to read all of your stories.
I've been reading many of the posts here and you all seem great.
I look forward to more reading, posting and support!
Gabriela

Definitely an awesome start, go you!

I weighed in last night and I'm down 4.5 lbs. Signed the 45 lb board and I'm only 3 lbs away from the 50 lb board! I might actually make it by my goal of the end of the month.

I mentioned when I weighed in that I still feel fat, like I'll always be fat. So my next visit is going to be my 're-motivator', take some new pictures, do full measurements and body comp - so there is something more than my skewed perception of myself and the number on the scale to tell me how far I've come.
