OMG take some Biotin! I had to stop taking it, I couldn't afford the razors for my legs, and I was starting to look like hitler with the stash. Your hair and your nails will thank you. Take 5000 iu's a day. My stylist told me about it.

I eat a lot of broccoli and cauliflower. Maybe I need to mix it up more. I had cabbage last night and asparagus a couple nights ago though. Oh, and I try to through cucumbers in there as often as I can. I also eat a lot of mushrooms. Could any of these be causing low losses?

No problem for me, giving up broccoli... but I'm not sure life would be worth living without my cauliflower!.. I love the stuff... I don't have it twice a day, but I do have it every day... did your coach explain what it was about those two veggies that would cause slow loss?.. I suppose if I have to cut back, it would be worth it to give my weight loss a kick in the seat of the pants... btw, how do you eat it?.. raw, steamed, roasted?.. I hardly ever cook mine, just cut it up raw in my salad...
My hair has been falling out in gobs for the last month. My coach started me on the IP antioxidents (double dose). I've only been doing it for a week and no difference yet. Yikes...I'm hoping it slows down soon. I'm phasing out in Aug.

Phew, it really feels like a huge hurdle met. Have not seen the 160's for close to 20 years.
IP has seriously changed my life and my attitude towards food.
Recently tired to go back to old food comfort habits and some mindless eating, 1st I actually got physically sick from trying that and it did not meet my needs like I THOUGHT it did.

There was a week where I had broccoli in my salad (raw) every day, plus steamed at night with dinner. Coach said broccoli and cauliflower can give you gas, which can bloat you and slow down weight loss.

Well, I shot myself in the foot a little. I go to Vegas July 21st and I was all set up to phase about by then. Last week was my phase 2 week and everything went fabulous and then I decided I was sick of the restrictions and ate mostly what I wanted Sat, Sun & Mon. I went to weigh in yesterday morning hoping to keep moving to phase 3 but my coach told me I need to phase out properly to have my pancreas heal and function the best. Soooo...I'm back to phase 1 until Vegas, then phase 1 a week after Vegas, then on to phase 2 and 3. I basically extended this diet a month so I could enjoy a few days last week. *head meets hand* I really need to work on the "all or nothing" theory I've been accustomed to. Sigh. Here's to day 2 of phase 1 (again).

Good to know! I have been doing the califlower broccoli thing every day. I will make some changes.
