I can't believe how skinny my face looks what a change. Thank you so much. You take care

Thank you ladies I needed that tonight... or a kick in the butt.

Had a long talk with myself on the way home from WI. I have told my body that I don't give a crap that it wants to hang onto the weight and that it isn't up to it and that I want to be at 166 by the end of the month or else, there would be all sorts of torture dealt out to it... I said get real one week +4 and then the next -6.5 and then another +1 what the heck.... this isn't a game, this is serious business. I want a good driver's license picture and you have a week to straighten out..... Geeez I hope it doesn't like torture, otherwise I could be in serious trouble...
So tomorrow is a new day and after looking at old pictures I am happy with myself, I will get over this little hurdle and will be close to my weight sooner than I think... after all it is the beginning of month 6 and 65 lbs is a good figure. Just have to get my body seeing things my way.:tan trum:
Okay now I feel better

Keep in mind you've already lost 65 lbs. that is nothing to sneeze at! Your body just needs a little rest, you'll lose it, don't get frustrated. Don't you just HATE those damn plateau's!!! I don't think there is anything you can do about it but weight it out.. Like that little play on words?

I am about 7 weeks shy of plugging away for a year now. I lost 65 pounds in the first six months and then another 17 over a few months and then some maintenance...I am up about 3 pounds right now. This is a major journey and I have no intend of ever giving up. I actually am afraid of the finish line because I am not sure what to do then....I am learning to live with the major change of going from a size 18 to a size 8.....then I will plug away to get between 148-154 (that will be my final range). Do not feel bad....you have done wonderful.

Well, I have been to Las Vegas over 30 times (I am a gambler and so is hubby). We did the most amazing thing ever....we kayaked from the Hoover Dam down 13 miles of the Colorado River....WOW>>>WOW>>>>WOW. My new advatar is a picture getting ready to take off.

We stayed at Caesar's spa towers (very nice especially because it was free), the Cosmopolitan (AMAZING), PH (free and a room) and then Aria (very very nice).

If you love Mexican Diablos at the front of Monte Carlo is great. Also Mon Ami Gabi at the front of Paris is always nice for breakfast or lunch (great mussels). Harrahs has an awesome steakhouse that overlooks the strip (The Range...take elevator front middle of casino up)...it is a bit pricey). We have seen Phantom and Jersey Boys and both are awesome. Harrahs comedy club (the Improv) is always great. Paris has an awesome breakfast buffet and so does Aria. Best dinner buffet for your buck is PH (if you like King Crab legs...already cracked open). I am not a buffet person....so I don't know too much about many of them.

Inside area in the lobby area is a great Tapas (Spanish small plates) restaurant. Holstiens upstairs at Cosmo has awesome apps and drinks.

If you want to watch any sports go to one of two places....The Stadium at Palazzo (Awesome awesome awesome) or to Skybox at Aria...both places have great food and great atmosphere but I like the Stadium better.

I will try to think of more....you could ask me about anything and I could answer it. But just have a blast.

Hi,
Have any of you used the WF salad dressing packets? Usually when I eat a salad at a restaurant, I order it dry. For some reason I have an emotional block about opening up a packet and putting it on my salad at a restaurant.
Has anyone done this?
Thanks./

I have it does take some getting use to. I also have used hot sauce on my salad in a restaurant when I have forgot my salad dressing... I liked that as well with some sea salt and pepper just the right zing.

I order olive oil and vinegar and/or lemon on the side. In a pinch, I ask for vinaigrette on the side and dip my fork in it before picking up the salad. It's amazing how little dressing you need to make it taste good.

Thanks for the ideas! I had not thought of salsa or hot sauce..Lemon is also a good.idea .but I also may be brave and just take out a packet..
People already think I am crazy ordering a caesar salad with no dressing, no croutons, no cheese. You have to get used to the idea that even if people look at your order as strange, you are going to do it.

Wow! I'm taking notes, Darbs. We're thinking of going in the fall. Our 30th anniversary came and went last year, but I'm feeling much more like celebrating this year!!

I always carry WF with me, long before IP days! At my first WI last friday I lost 6.2 lbs, so of course I was thrilled. I got up this morning and decided to sneak a weigh in and I was up 2 lbs. WHAT THE HECK! Absolutely no cheats and this is the beginning of my journey, I could see a few weeks in, but on day 11?????? I have been reading old posts to see if this happened to anybody else and I can't find a single one. SOMEBODY Cheer me up!
