I'm one of those ppl that have the same thing all the time too.
I am in a jag tbh.
Morning- same packet
lunch- protien bar and cucumbers
dinner- steak or hamburg and zucchini
snack- same packet
I think it's funny that I have red meat every night, and still maintain the losses that I've had. I really think my body craves the Iron at this point though. And I can't take it orally..cuz it makes me ill.
I eat quite a lot of red meat too. And I agree re: the iron. I think my body craves it too... I have lunch plans today, so might swap and have my protein meal with lunch. But then I have date night tonight with hubby... It might end up being a Phase 2 day for me. (I have done this once or twice before and it's never set me back too much).
I will be wearing my fantastic new dress today. Let's hope I don't sweat too much in it given the heat index of 115 this afternoon. I only have to walk a tiny bit outside to meet my friend for lunch. Stay cool, everyone....

I'm excited for you! Enjoy your date night
I have days that I have a phase 2 day...tbh, I think it's helped me stay consistent.
We find what works and stick with it. I too am stuck in a RUT. I branched out last night and bought red leaf lettuce instead of mixed greens.
Tonight I'm going to have a TBTO Turkey bacon, tomato, onion, in a big red leaf. I might splurge and put some light miracle whip on it. AND a pickle.
Live it up! It's my Friday, we're off tomorrow. Time to weed the patch that WAS my garden before the 23rd day of +100.
I'm keeping my eyes out for snakes, they're crazy this year. So I need to eliminate all tall grass before they find a place to hide. I might just mow first just in case!
I do get to have all the fun!
I have a friend that freaks out at snakes... even just pictures or toy ones.... I can't say I like them very much either but... you do seem like you are having all the fun... not fair. Will try this weekend to mow my lawn, I think my 2 year old mower gave up the ghost the other day... so may be shopping again for a new one. oh joy...like I couldn't spend the money on something else like a BILL.

Well you will be smokin that is for sure and not because of the heat. Have a great day.
Well ladies it is raining lots today here again... had to pull out my long sleeved shirt to wear to work... thank goodness it is casual day and I can wear jeans and a t-shirt... I must say I am getting more comfortable wearing form fitting clothing but it is so different from wearing big baggy clothes that it is hard to decide if I look ok or not... oh well I am at work can't change that. Have a great weekend and I am on vacation starting monday... yippee..

Hmmm. Speaking of Miracle Whip, I just received my WF order and the mayo is now called Miracle Mayo. I haven't tasted it yet as I still have some left from the old jar but am wondering if perhaps they've sweetened it up in an effort to resemble Miracle Whip. Anyone try that yet? It does say on the jar that it is a new updated flavor. Hmmm.

I sure hope they re-worked that flavor, I took one taste and threw the thing in the garbage it was so gross. The only thing I ate that was WF was the bbq sauce and the ketchup. I had to dress them both up to make them work for me. I can now eat mustard on just about everything.
Let me know how it tastes!
I can't seem to stay away from 152! I'm going to try mixing it up today, I just had what I was going to have for supper, and I'll have my veggies and salad for supper, no meat. This is so frustrating.
Time to clean house! I can't put it off any longer.
I made bread and butter pickles this morning, shreddd th zuch. for relish and finished one painting I had started yesterday. I think I've procrastinated enough!

How exciting... Getting the better of one's own procrastination. I've got almost every method down to avoid moving ahead. YIKES. HaHa... I too do finally the get the more mature and better hand under control ... except in finishing paintings. I'm so proud of you and you are inspiring me. I began a new painting almost a year ago of a scene out my window that no longer exists. Trees that were are now gone... The golf course in the background is closing down at the end of this season. I'm thinking I need to get the upper hand in that arena also and get the paints on the palette! Smile. I started teaching art to my granddaughter on the other side of the country via SKYPE last week. It is really fun and has me at least drawing again. Enjoy the pickles and relish! They sound DIVINE!
I officially hit the 50-lb mark today! Woohoo! Have a great week everyone!
Super!
mamarix1 I like your turkey bacon sandwich and thought I'd share what I'm having for dinner -- a sort of Rueben. Obviously I can't get Walden Farms products here, but I can get a no fat cottage cheese with only one carb per half cup. So I puree cottage cheese, pickles, and some non fat, no sugar German catsup (curry!) and build a "sandwich" with one large Romaine leaf, a 2-egg omelette, sauerkraut, and sauce. It's really quite good and high protein.
I feel for those of you sweltering through summer. It got up to 63 F (17C) here today. After a hellishly hot summer last year, Northern Europe is having an unusually cool and wet one this year.

I've had my fair share of snake encounters & have come to the conclusion that ALL snakes are dangerous... even if they aren't venomous, they usually end up making me hurt myself!!!.. anyway, hope you are able to deal with yours okay...
I'm back from my vacation in Colorado... spent a little over a week with my parents in their mountain cabin... I hope I don't sound like a bad daughter, but spending that much time with them drives me bonkers... here I am, 62 years old, & they still treat me like I'm their little girl, constantly telling me what to do, acting like I don't know anything... (okay, that's all the venting about that I'm gonna do).. the trip did me in, IP-wise... my mom is a great cook & even though I tried to stay on protocol as much as possible, I did stray a few times... the worst thing, though, I did better while I was gone than since I got home... I think it was holding in all the stress while I was there, then letting it all coming flooding out after I got home... I really overdid it yesterday... today I don't even feel like eating at all... maybe I just need a "fast" day to get me over my splurge... I doubt I'll go the whole day without eating, later I'll probably have a veggie-loaded salad & a whey protein shake... then starting tomorrow, total IP Bootcamp for a week...
What I've learned about overdoing carbs the last few days -- not only do I gain weight, but I also feel like H3LL for at least a couple of days... heartburn, no energy, achy/stiff joints, plus my face is puffy!.. not worth it, not worth it all...
This week at the gym, I'm gonna start working out with a new trainer... my former trainer is quitting to go to nursing school... I really liked her & will miss her, but I'm excited about my new one... she's probably the most sought-after trainer there & she approached me to offer to work with me!.. I already know her pretty well, she's my Zumba instructor...
I'm glad to be back amongst my good IP buddies... missed y'all a lot... congrats to all for doing so well while I was AWOL...
hugs
P.S. What happened to all the stickies???..

Welcome back, That is pretty cool that the trainer approached you, you must be doing something right. I missed you as well, glad you are back. and you will get right back on track again.
oh nad the stickys have been shrunk but they are all still there.

What indeed! (and I use exclamation points very sparingly). And welcome back. If it helps -- up until about his 99th birthday my father still treated me as though I were a teenager. Naa, it doesn't help.
Thanks, y'all, for the welcome home... it sure feels good to be here... I finally took a look at the one "Ultimate" stickie, & see that all of them really are still there... cool!..
Linden, thanks for the attempted solace!.. it does help to know I'm not the only one...
Hi everyone. Very excited today. I booked a cruise for my 40th birthday... We are leaving the day after my birthday. My parents/brother will be in the cabin next to ours, and we are going to the Bahamas. The balcony is shared...
We leave from Baltimore, so we don't even have to fly. I have never been on a cruise. Never been to the Bahamas... I am SO looking forward to dressing up, wearing a bathing suit, the list goes on. YAY!
Congrats, Dr. Pxlkitty! What a great treat to go on a cruise for your 40th. I had a great 40th, but a trip would have been great!
Still trucking along here... My husband asked me tonight how my weight is going. Luckily I was able to say I'm still within about 4 of my all time (post-IP) low. Hurrah for me. Meeting a friend at 5:15 a.m. to run in the morning. She hasn't seen me in a year. Problem is I need to leave by 4:50 to meet her. I need to go to bed!!! Talk with y'all later. Keep chugging!!!
