Love....6 weeks to lose 11 lbs I KNOW you can do it!!! How's that house cealning going? I've been meaning to do that since I got out of school and it still hasnt happened!! Enjoy your break from the kiddos!

Wannabe.....my dh asked me if I wanted to join a coed softball league...would be fun! Way to go for not giving up on you!!!

Charity...that song gets stuck in my head all the time! LOL!! Have a great time on your mini vacation! Remember that nothing is worth giving your goals up for!

Thanks so much for responding girls! Alrighty, where is everyone else? We've got way more than 14 people on our team.

I'm back on plan and doing GREAT! Peeked at the scale and those pesky 3 lbs I gained last week are already gone and took 1.5 with it! Onward and downward!! its field day at my dd's school but its rainy out so looks like it may get cancelled and after I made 230 buttons and 5 dozen cookies! Oye!!

Have a wonderful day Red team!!!

Hi guys,

I think I'm almost ready to resume my cheerleading duties.
Things I've learned from moving:

1) Packing sucks
2) Moving sucks
3) Unpacking sucks
4) Living with 1 other person is way lonlier than living with 3 other people
5) Moving makes you really tired, grumpy and irritable
6) Being a grown up isn't nearly so much fun as you imagined it would be

I'm sure some sleep will cure what ails me. People keep trying to tell me the stuff will be there this weekend, and I don't have to stay up an unpack. But I hate not being able to find anything! I am by no means a neat freak. I like a little creative chaos. But literally the closet is vomitting clothes because I've been tearing through looking for stuff to wear. I don't know where anything is!

On a brighter note, I'm using this as an oppurtunity to purge everything that is 16+ or a size large. (That'll be a lot of clothes!). I'd purge the 14's too, but I can't afford to buy that many new clothes, plus, the 12's are just a smidge too tight. Like I don't think it looks inappropriate, but they definitely make me rethink reaching for that bagel!

Hi Girls!

I swear, if its not one thing it's another! I went to work yesterday, came home for lunch and when I got back to work my stomach was killing me. I stayed and worked my entire shift and came home and just died. I am feeling a bit better today, didnt really have a chance "to be sick" as DS had an ortho appt. this morning, and groceries needed to be bought, and so, duty calls! Luckily it's cooled down to the high 80's w/ a breeze so it hasn't been blazing outside during my outings, but waaahhhh!!! When do I ever get to be sick???? Alright, enough griping and more posting!!

Love, I hope you enjoy your "quiet" time without the kids. How long will they be gone for? I know you will put all that time to good use for yourself, you rock!

Charity, have fun on your vacation!

Amber, so good to see you! Moving is the pits, isn't it? Sounds like you're almost done tho, so Yay!

I thought I had seen Karen around these parts a few days ago? Where is she?
And everyone else, it's gotten way too quiet around here, and yes, I haven't exactly been the pillar of good support lately, and for that I truly apologize!
I do need to get my butt going again with clean eating and lots of exercise, I'm sure I am up on the scale, however, I am too scared to look! LOL

1. What plan have you been following the past 6 weeks?
First started off with just calorie counting, then switched to basic low carbing

2. What exercises have you been doing the past 6 weeks?
Mainly riding my bike and some WATP dvd's

3. What is something you've accomplished the past 6 weeks that you are really proud of?
NOT GIVING UP!!!!

4. What would you like to work on for the remaining 6 weeks?
To actually drop a significant amount of weight and get on a regular workout schedule.

5. What song gets you fired up and ready to be a fitter and healthier you?
Sweetness by Jimmy Eat World, Reach for the Sky by Social Distortion, and lately it's been The River by Good Charlotte & London Bridge by Fergie. And I have always been a sucker for a good N'sync song! LOL

Dani...although I didnt like Jillian she is WAY WAY WAY better than Kim so I'm glad she's going back. And did you see where you can sign up to win a workout with bob? Its on subway! I hope you are feeling better!!

Amber....totally agree with all 6 points! Good for you for throwing out the fat clothes...be gone with them!!

Michelle...you can turn it all around! I know you can!

I went off plan today, its been a crap day. Its pouring out...and I mean POURING! And my day started of on a sour note because they cancelled field day after I put in all that work, I'm bummed for the kids mostly. But I was up till very late making buttons and my arms are sore and now they are a total waste. And then I call because they took an extra $10 out of my checking when they took my car payment so i called to find out why and the lady chewed potato chips in my ear the whole time which is my WORST pet peeve. So I was extremely agitated by the time I hung up. Then I kept knocking and bumping myself on everything, my leg is so bruised and sore right now! And now I think my youngest is coming down with a bladder infection and the nurse and I keep playing phone tag. Soooo....my oldest and I had lunch at a noodle place, lots of veggies but noodles and chicken are not on my plan, not to mention the sauce and I had regular soda with it!! Plus I had peanut M&Ms which are definetly not on my plan!

On an up note we went and got some old movies (Blast from the Past and Pretty woman) we are putting on jammies and curling up with blankets to watch movies while it pours some more. I'm sorry to say but I think its pizza for dinner too, unless I can talk dh into picking up sandwiches on his way home. I refuse to go out into that mess again. Ugh! is it bedtime yet? LOL!

I hope everyone is having a much better day than me!!!

Good morning Ladies,
It's been awfully quiet around here lately. We haven't fallen off have we? Aside from looking our best for summer, just think of all of the things we'll be able to do without the extra weight. Summer is a great time to get out and get some extra exercise! I just hate to see us fall off at the end of the challenge. I am struggleing with the same 2 lbs. But I am not going to let that get me down. We can DO this!

Today I am going to continue my cleaning spree. I got my laundry room and pantry cleaned out yesterday. I've got the kids rooms and my basement to go through still, but I've got 3 weeks till the kids come back.

I'll check back in with you ladies later, but i want us to get back on track and JUST DO IT!
YEAH!

Good Morning Girlies! Wow, I am absolutely shocked at how quiet it has gotten here. Like Love said, it would be awful for us girls to quit now! We've come a long way since 6 weeks, we can do this!!!!

Melissa, NO I didnt read anything where you can work out with Bob! OMG, can you imagine?! I think I would have to ask him for a "quiet moment" to just sit and look at him for a minute, especially at those beautiful blue eyes of his!! I hope you're feeling better today. Boy, do I know what kind of day you were having yesterday! Feels like I've had lots of those recently and I am SO tired of it! You can do this, one foot in front of the other lady!

Love, you've been a busy bee already! I need to do some serious cleaning around here too, but just have not felt that motivation yet. My girls closet is about to explode with all the junk they got in there & I'm more than sure if I got rid of half of it they'd never know it. lol So 3 weeks of freedom, huh? Have some fun woman!!

Alright, well I need to get rollin around here and get some laundry done and then I got to rev up the "Taxi" to shuttle kids around all day...then work Blech!
Make today a great day ladies!!!

1. What plan have you been following the past 6 weeks? LAWL for the past 6 months...

2. What exercises have you been doing the past 6 weeks? Walking on average 2 miles each working days (M-F), slack off... hmmm.... rest on weekends

3. What is something you've accomplished the past 6 weeks that you are really proud of? That I'm actually steadily losing some weight... unlike last round, I holted quite a bit...

4. What would you like to work on for the remaining 6 weeks? Lose faster?!!!!!!

5. What song gets you fired up and ready to be a fitter and healthier you? Don't really have one... Well, come think of it, you know Toby Keith's new song High Maintenance Woman Don't Want No Maintenance Man? Well, in it there's this line: She's my baby doll, she's my beauty queen, she's the movie star, best I've ever seen.... And I wanna be that baby doll, and his beauty queen...

Good Friday Morning Red Team!! Good to see a couple of you stop by! It gets lonely around here!

Love....3 weeks with no kids...ah vacation! LOL!! I wish I was as smart as you have been with your time and get things done, my todo list is still a mile long and the kids are out of school next week! Keep up the great work!!!

Danielle....its terribly sad whats happened to our team isnt it? Silence is never a good thing on a team. But, we can all turn that around!!! Seems the kids out of school has got you busier than ever with the taxi service, when do you get to start charging for that? LOL! Hope you are staying cool!

Nancy...walking 2 miles a day!!! that is fantastic!!! Way to go! And I just gotta say you are already that beauty queen!

I had another bad day yesterday. I feel stuck in this up down rut...I do GREAT for 3 days then I slide back for a couple days. Not healthy! I guess I'm the only one that can turn that around though arent I?

Anyone got some ideas on how to get our team fired up again? Should we try a challenge? We've got some teammates that we've never ever heard from, what would get them to join in the support? I'm open to ideas if anyone has some! Lets get this place hoppin again!! Its the push to the finishline now and I know we can end it with a great big BANG!!!

I hope everyone has the best weekend!! We can do this Red team! We can be the biggest losers!!!

Good morning all,
Well I got my closet cleaned out yesterday. My DH was shocked when he saw it. I can actully see the floor now and all of my clothes are organized by color. AND for the best news of all, I got to get rid of some things that were just too big. I, like Amber, am just going to purge my closet of those things, cuz I ain't going back!

I've been thinking about what we can do to get back in the game.Maybe we just do a quick roll call to see who may be just lurking but not necessarily posting.

Another thought was on the "how to stay on-plan" kind of thing: On the 100lb. club they do a: "I'm staying on plan today becasue:" Maybe that will help with the daily commitments.

Another thing I am going to do next week is start a notebook for myself that has my goals written in it. Pictures of things I want to wear/do. My kiddos and DH since they are part of my motivation. That way I can look at it when I am not loosing or get off track.

For anyone out there, you don't have to do all of the personals as Melissa has stated before. Don't let that intimidate you. We just want to know that you are out there and that we are here to support you.

I will check in with you ladies later. I need to go get my walk in. I've got a classroom to decorate at church today, so I will be pretty busy once again.
Make it a good one!
Love

Hi all!

Well, summer school started for me this week plus I've been helping my 84-y-o neighbor a little bit who's staying in a nursing home for a few weeks for rehab after a fall, and then just all the day-to-day stuff. But I'm doing pretty well with eating and great with exercise. Just going to do my squats deadlifts etc. in a couple of minutes, then I'm going to go to another neighbor's to work on her yard and earn some $$$$. That will be great exercise for today.

Love--those are absolutely great ideas. I'd love to do the notebook idea, especially. I was already thinking about digging out some pictures of myself from a few years ago when I was over 160, so I can see how I looked for some before/after inspiration. But I know there are hardly any pictures because I trained my family not to take pictures of me on pain of death! I also remember throwing out some pictures of myself a while ago because I didn't want to see them. I always look better to myself in the mirror than in a picture, kwim?

Hope everyone has a great day! Make good choices and just keep putting one foot in front of the other!
