Confession: I yelled at Chalene the other night when she says in the video that the Lunges should be motivation to lose weight so they'll be easier. It was not pretty. Not at all. My BF came to check to make sure the TV was OK still.

I think I'm only going to do three weeks of Push then move to Lean. I need to see some weight loss numbers and I'm not seeing it during this phase. I am enjoying lifting heavy though!

My husband has learned to ignore me. Even though I've seen the videos a thousand times, I still try to have a conversation with it. I even tell DH something funny that Chalene said or why I hate her at that particular point. He just smiles and asks if I had a good time.

And yes, yes I did. ^_^

Small update while getting the kids ready for bed, I've lost 4 inches off my waist! Keeping to a good diet, doing the Burn Phase and throwing in an extra day of cardio on a rest day, switching between Intervals and Burn it off. Both of which leave me a sweaty panting heap on the floor. Four inches sounds like alot in two weeks, I think it has to do with tightening up my post-baby stomache muscles, and being overweight so I have alot more to lose than a skinny girl.

Quick update--2 more PUSH workouts for me then on to LEAN. I'm excited.

K-boys:4 inches is awesome!! Keep it up

Yeah, I yell at Chalene too...but not as much as I did Debbie when doing the Slim Series rotation. I was constantly telling her to shut it

Blu - OH girl.. JUST WAIT. I did Lean circuit 1 today. I cut a week off of Push b/c I was just too annoyed and I wanted to change it up. OH. MY. GOD. OUCH.

SO I took my measurements midway through Push, and I had lost 3 inches overall. I'm ok with that. It's three less than when i began!

I will take them again at the end of Lean and post.

Yes, I do believe you're right...I did L1 last night and it was a toughy! Felt great after, though

Congrats on the 3 inches lost!

I've come to realize that Chalene really thinks she's funny. I always wonder just what Janelle is thinking in those burn videos while Chalene walks around talking. And then asks, "Why are you complaining?" ^_^

I hate lunges! Legs are my weakest part and I struggled to finish the program. With CLX I lost 30 pounds. I'm doing TurboFire right now and it kills!! It's insanely awesome and next month I'll start TF with CLX and see how that goes. Keep on going. Chalene is the best.

I just finished Burn Circuit 1 and remembered that it has to be my least favorite of all the burn videos. I don't feel like I get anything out of some of those combo moves, especially anything with a posterior delt. I can't get beyond 5 lbs. without feeling like my shoulders are being pulled out. And the lunge with side bend just makes me aware of my side rolls. ^_^

Month 1/Burn Phase done.
Here are my results,

8-1-10 8-27-10
210 lbs 201 lbs -9 lbs

Chest 44 1/2 43 1/2 -1 inches
Waist 42 1/4 39 -3 1/4
Right Thigh 29 1/2 25 1/2 -4
Left Thigh 27 1/2 24 1/2 -3
Hips 49 1/2 47 1/2 -2

Total lost; 9 lbs and 13 inches.

Onto the Push phase, I need to get some heavier weights for it. I also would have lost more weight, but my diet was not the best for a week and a half. My hubby got sick and was in the hospital and I found myself cheating and turning to desserts for comfort eating. But he is better now and I'm resolved to keep trying to stick to healthier eating. I'll never be a strict diet person, I love food, but I will be a portion controlling cutting down on the crap person.

Hey guys! I am started chalean extreme Jan 09 and saw some amazing results. I lost most of my motivation in November 09 and now I am searching for some motivation. It seems like I find motivation when I have a special occasion coming up, but it only last a week or two. Since I had those amazing results with Chalean and lost my motivation, I gained all the weight back and more. I am just looking for some similar experiences and help getting back on track.

I bought ChaLean Extreme and did it for about a week or two before I JUMPED OFF the wagon!! However, I'm in a new state of mind and I plan to start up again this upcoming week. I have been doing a little bit of weight training on my own following my cardio routines, but I think I'm going to throw this set back into the mix.

I have just got my copy of ChaLEAN extreme and have lots of questions - hope u dont mind

What weights should i get? I have 2kg dumbells (4.4lbs) but think i will need heavier - but how much heavier?

I dont seem to have a copy of the nutritional plan so not sure what she suggests for food - I have the fat burning food guide but that doesnt have too many recipes in - can anyone help?

Will start on Tuesday when the children go back to school

in the videos the women go up to 30lbs. The second phase is where you need really heavy weights... I invested in 20lbs and 25lbs for it...I also have 3,5,8,10,12,15lbs... You don't have to invest in so many, they show how to use bands so you can maybe try that first to see if you like the program. there's also adjustable dumbbells.
