It's very cool your helping out with the Poodle Rescue! How awesome! Smooch them all for me, each and everyone of them! I love them, love them, love them!
Ohhh yea, finally after 3 dang years jury selection will start May 9th and opening statements start I think the May 17th. The defense is doing anything in their power to keep the evidence out of the courtroom, but it's not working out so good for them... *tee hee* Caylee will get her justice! That's all the matters and that witch will rot!
I will talk to my coach about those enzymes. It's just time to phase off. Tho I do plan on using my product in my day to day life. Rondar has turned me on to several other products that I really like, so that's been fun!

Thank you! As for the new beau, he has actually been around for about 6 months. I broke up with my ex almost a year ago but he refused to leave my house. It became a battle. The new beau is a friend of the past 3 yrs and he was willing to deal with things as they were.

He's a great guy!
YES! Gotta love those poodles. We have them from 1yr to 10yrs old. They are just so great at every age.
I have heard bits and pieces of the case. It is really sad. I do hope they get justice for the girl and relief for her family. It is so sad when you start thinking of all the drama for the family.
I wish you well tomorrow when you see your coach. I think you will probably do ok moving to phase 2.
AND, I do plan to be around quite a bit more. I hope we get some time to chat.

man o man, i'm about miserable today, TOM finally came, (praises!) but the big C is killin me! i finally got back OP but not quite all my veggies (i know, i know!) and the scale started moving, but everything else forgot to... ughh. would you all say avoid the fiber supplements right now as to not compound the problem and just use a laxative? i added vit c, colace and water. i'm considering mag citrate, sea salt in water or something... suggestions please!

I am jealous!! I love asparagus! It is wonderful and for you to have it wild, WOW!! Lucky girl! We never see it for less than 2.00usd a pound. I wish I could just go pick it!
As for poodles, I would love to help you adopt one! I do understand you husbands point of view though. Right now, I have 3 in my home and it can be quite a bit of chaos when they get to playing.
As for the constipation, I might be inclined to do the sea salt flush. Based on the article shared the other day I would definitely say NO fiber supplements. I know some have done well adding 1tbsp of ground flax seed per day. Or using lemon water first thing in the morning works for some others.
What IP suggests are:
First, review food diary and be certain they are eating all the vegetables, salads and drinking the water. At this point, suggest 2 to 4 capsules of Novi-Lax at bedtime and increase water to 3 liters (quarts) per day.
If not resolved in 2 days proceed to:
Stop the calcium I Magnesium supplement. Have ciient purchase a 500 mg Magnesium supplement (usually magnesium oxlde very inexpensive at any supermarket, CVS or Walgreens). Start with one at bedtime with the Novi-Lax. If no relief the next day, add a second tablet the following night.
If no relief, proceed to:
Add 2 capsules of Peri-Colace the next day, and if no relief by bedtime, take 2 more at bedtime. "Peri-colace" is a combination stool softener (docusate sodium) and an herbal stimulant laxative (senna extract). Do not buy the brand name ... it's ridiculously expenslve.-'- Have them go to Walgreens or CVSand get their generic brand (on the shelf right next to the
brand name product). It will say 'Oocusate sodium and senna (or sennosldes)' on the label.
In place of the preceding paragraph, the client may also use a Fleet's Enema (available, readyto- use, at any pharmacy. If there is still a problem, refer to physician to rule out any structural problem (i.e. a bowel obstruction).
--NEVER, ever give a fiber supplement to a person suffering from constipation. These products are NOT laxatives, but used to maintain regularity. It will make the constipation worse!

There are several items that are high in fiber. Some bring with them extra carbs but many are and equal carb fiber count so, in the end, the net carb for the veggie will be zero but, you get all that great fiber. The information below will be based on cup units.
Any of the greens (collard, turnip, kale, chard) have about 2g of fiber per cup raw or cooked.
asparagus has 4g
brussel sprouts 4g an occasional item as it has more total carbs
all cabbage 3 -4g
Black soy beans 14g with only 2g useable carb!
Broccoli 6g
Cauliflower 2g but no net carbs
Eggplant 3g
Mushroom 1.5g
Peppers (green or other) 3g
Rhubarb 4g
Spinach raw 4g
Celery 1.5g but it is a zero net carb
Radish 2g
Zucchini 3g
Endive 2g but net of zero
Fennel 3 but a net of zero
Green beans 4g but it has 6 useable carbs per cup so it is an occasional item
Broccoli raab/rabe/or rappini 1g but not net carb
Okra 4g but no net carb
Chayote 4g but has 3 useable carbs
Yellow squash 2g but has 3 useable carbs
If you are in phase 3 (big breakfast) or phase 4,
You may be allowed to incorporate some of these:
Avocado 1 medium has 17carb and 11fiber that is great on an occasional salad.
Artichoke 14carb and 10fiber net carb 4g
Raspberries or Blackberries 15carb and 8fiber per cup net carbs would be 7g!
Lentils 10 carbs with 8g fiber
Other good choices are: apple, pear, oatmeal, barley, garbanzo bean, black bean, lentils, lima bean, snow peas, sweet potato
This is something some coaches recommend beginning in Phase1 although it is not on protocol it is used as a supplement like olive oil and in place of psyllium:
Flax seed 1tbsp has .1g useable carb and 1.9 grams fiber. It has been incorporated on this diet with good results for many.
This is great added into salads, to make a 1 carb bread, to add to smoothies/shakes, or to roll chicken or fish in and bake.
