I am usually the mom you see in the summer throwing her kids out the door and saying, "The sun is up....go play." I would have loved to have been outside so that I could get my strawberry plants in, and they could have played. But with her sinus infection and the way she feels (which contributes to the behavior, I know), I just could not justify sending her out when it was only about 50 here today.

Tomorrow morning, I will plant. In the afternoon I get my hair cut, so my great friend will have her for a few hours.

I just hate it when I feel like I have been unreasonably mean. I was up with both of them last night, so I know that contributes.

I just loaded some meditative podcasts, so I hope to come back a better person.

I hate that...I had to clean our bathroom Sunday but didn't get time. Now I have to do it this weekend.

Exercise:
I did my workout this morning. I walked on the treadmill for about 45 mins @3.0 mph while I watched TV. I forgot to wear my knee brace so didn't do much higher speed. I told my DH to wake me up at 6 AM and if I resisted to just keep trying till I woke up and to even pull me out or throw me off the bed if the need be In case, I didn't mention I'm NOT a morning person at all. And I have to say he succeeded. I'm trying this new thing where I wake up early morning finish my work out and then go to work. So wish me luck!!

Well, the Blue Team has been at it again!!!

I can't eat anything because I'm stuck at the computer trying to keep up.

First of all, let me say to Lisaand Nori, my sincere, earnest prayers are with you and your families.

Jennifer and Michelle, I'm so glad you are both in "safe" parts of Virginia. And Michelle thank you so much for the cheat sheet . . . sweet of you to do this for all of us.

Congratulations to Elizabeth on her 4# loss
and to MJ for facing up to all that testosterone

Rhonda, thanks for the blue cheerleader and for cheering me on my "free" holiday. However, like Leiza Ann, I am in the midst of the flu and haven't felt much like eating or doing anything. Chicken soup does sound good and I've had my share in the last 2 days, but today I've had a tangelo and a grapefruit and a hard boiled egg. No scale here, so don't know how that's going. I think it'll be all good.

And Anna, so many of the things you say make me laugh, and by the way, we have plenty of room for company here (6 bedrooms - 4 are downstairs with their own bathroom). Because of all your sinus problems in the house - I thought you'd enjoy this song:

http://myeeosprofile.com/video-egCeI...n_Wilburn.html

essentially: "If my nose was running money - I'd blow it all on you." hillbilly style - cute.

And before my day runs out - Happy 23rd Birthday Francie

I'm off to lose .. . er win some money in the casino after dinner with DH. Catch you all later.

You know those harnesses that they put on kids to keep them from wandering off? When I was 2-1/2 my mom was hugely pregnant with my brother and we had to go to the mall. She strapped one of those things on me and explained I could go wherever I wanted without holding her hand. I proceeded to skip thru the mall, clapping my hands and singing "Look at me I'm a dog, Look at me I'm a dog." She says she wanted the ground to open up a swallow her.

Have I posted today? I can't remember. I took a hydrocodone last night to combat a reccurance of carpal-tunnel and it made me hyper. I cleaned again. DH wondered if I was mad again since that's my normal ticked off M.O. lol Nope, just hyper. I tackled the stove, the fridge and the freezer, and the hall bathroom floor.

Anyway enough ramble from me... Lisa and Nori, I'm sending prayers and good thoughts your way. Anna - I'm sending you patience and a stiff drink! Happy Anniversary! Shopaholic - Happy Birthday!

More later.

I'm going to have to learn how to post a picture to show the "sweet beagle sisters"!

I ended up working late (apparently no one got my memo that there are to be no crisis calls at 4pm!)....but I went to the gym and did 25 mins of cardio. Not the plan, but better than nothing!

When I came home I was pleasantly surprised to find dh doing the dishes. I LOVE him so much!

Geez gals - you're just chatting up a storm. I'll never have time to keep up with all of you, so I'll just say "Hi!" to everyone

Waiting for DH to get home - we are having whole wheat spaghetti with meat sauce tonight for dinner. We should be having a salad as well, but I don't have any veggies in the house

I've been pretty hungry the past 2 days - not sure why, since I started my plan last week! I'm doing WW, and am going to end up eating all my extra points for the week in just these few days!

QOTD: I'm 44 and live in Albany, NY

Ok, since we're a team and we are here to support each other. I've got an eating problem. I can do fine and stay on plan in the morning, but once early noon hits, I want to eat. I don't care what it is, I'll eat. Sweet, salty, cold, hot, it doesn't matter. I'll eat and eat till I'm stuffed then I'll want to eat something after that. It's driving me crazy. My hubby says it's cause I'm bored. I think that has a little to do with it but I also think it's emotional eating. I could go for walks but I have two little ones who always gets sick when I take them for walks and there are alot of stray dogs in the area, especially pit bulls (no offense any pit owners). I have workout videos but I feel that they aren't doing anything for me. I am a sahm and don't do anything but clean and take care of my babies. I love scrapbooking but can't do any of it because I need to buy things to finish but don't have the money to do so. I am also a cake decorator and could bake cakes all week but with the cost of eggs nowadays, that alone would make me go broke. I really need some help. My plan is to watch my calories and try to stay away from carbs, fast food, oils, and processed foods. I try to do high protein low carb (it worked for me before). Please help me.
