I feel so guilty about asking, started to ask for prayer several times, but chickened out, but for 5 days I have had a severe back ake, and fever , the fever is gone and I am no longer walking with a walker and feel better but I still am not up to par and with my life style one thing I don't need is a back ake. Please pray it goes away for good tonight.
BOOTSIE ~ I agree with GARY -- don't be afraid to ask for prayers for a sore back; esp since you have so much you need to do and we want that healed for you, so you don't have to suffer. We sometimes think we are bothering people, but that is what this thread is for ... prayers. Those that have time will pray; those that don't, won't even be here ... ... and it only takes a few seconds to send up a prayer for your comfort and healing!!!
PRAYER REQUEST FOR NUMPSTER ~ now I am going to bug you all to send up a couple of prayers for my middle sister, NUMPSTER, who hurt one of her knees and has to use a walker to walk any distance in their large property.
Also, her husband got scammed when he stopped at a roadside store to buy something; he asked if they take a credit card and they said, "yes, but only if it does NOT have a chip on it" (which is a security feature) ... long story short, he didn't realize that and they maxed out their card for $3000.00 !!! again ... We are going turn this over GOD to battle for them to get their money back some way somehow and to stop these crooks from doing this to anyone else; it may not be easy to get their money back but they can at least report them. We must remember that GOD can do anything! Thanks so much ...

Thank You Rosebud and Gary. Rosebud has Numpsters husband went back to that store and asked them about this? Did they give him a receipt? They are suppose too.
I did not know about the chip on the credit cards but we don't take credit cards so we can keep the price down on items, we only take checks and cash.
That makes me more cautious in using my credit card. My neighbor uses hers on everything, she says it keeps her bills all together to pay. Will pray for numpsters knee but thank goodness for the walker! Never thought I would have to use one but boy howdy it sure came in handy!
THANKS, BOOTSIE ~ I will definitely be suggesting that he go back and confront them about this; I sure hope he does and isn't intiminated by them. I agree -- he was supposed to get a copy of the purchase receipt. I was told that she is putting a complaint and report into the credit card company against them. This is exactly why I have been hesitant to use credit cards too.
Recently, I ordered a vacuum cleaner and accessories from Sears but it didn't come; so the people at the outlet requested a credit for me but it is over two months and they still have not credited my account -- we are still working on it and I won't let this go. If I can't trust them to credit the account for items I don't receive, I will not be using their card again or shopping at their store either ... and I am still waiting for DH's birthday present: a bike that was ordered at the beginning of APRIL! I am not a happy Sears customer right now ...
My brother had to use a walker when he had his knee replaced and I find that my canes have helped me so much, especially for helping my right knee to heal up faster, and taking the strain off my lower back as well. DH told me the other day that he noticed that I can walk much better and faster with my canes -- that is good, becuz I will burn more energy that way and am hoping that will result in losing some more lbs too ...

PRAYER REQUEST ~ My SIL dropped by yesterday to tell us that our BIL, TOM M. was in the hospital too as he had some bad chest pains the other day when he was helping with some outdoor work. She thinks he will be OK; they couldn't really do much for him, but she was very concerned nevertheless.
PLUS, the funeral service for my Uncle TOM is tomorrow at 10:30 AM; thanks for your prayers for his family ...

My grandson arrived this morning at 8:48 Eastern time (North Carolina). My daughter and Maddox are doing great. Two weeks early and he weighed 9 lbs 2 ounces and was 21.5 inches long and he is BEAUTIFUL! They have sent me several pictures and a couple of videos via text already and I got to talk to my daughter a while ago.

I have been scammed a time or two. I contacted the credit card company who removed the charge and investigated who ultimately proved it to be a false charge and I received full credit. I have had this happen at least twice.
So many prayer requests, Bootsie, Numpster, Rosebud, Aunt Pam and her family. Prayer has gone up in each case,
Please pray for my friend Denver, he recently had surgery for colon cancer, reports have come back showing lymph node involvement, not a good sign. pray for his wife Ann and his mother Carolyn as they are quite frantic with this news.
