TIFFANY ~ prays are on their way for your DH that all will go well for him during his job interview tonight ...

BOOTSIE ~ glad your grand-daughter is safe; and sent up prayers for those involved in the other two incidents as well. Gee, that is an awfully high deductible; I've never heard of that before. Sounds like they wouldn't pay for anything short of surgery ... did you plan it that way? Can't that be lowered to something a bit more reasonable like $100-200? BTW, neck and back injuries should be looked into really; they are just way too serious. Prayers are going up for you and your DH -- maybe it's time to hire some part-time help for casual replacements, illness, and/or holidays, etc.

That is what my friend Doris Fae said also Rosebud, I think I am going to look around on my insurance. No not really did not plan it that way that is all we can afford, they are charging my husband between 500 and 600 now because he is over weight is what we were told. Every year they go up on both of us. Both places are sending it to the insurance and see if they will pay on any of it before charging me. Geee! I might be in dept for the rest of my life with them. He never uses the insurance I think since he has had it used it 3 times for check up blood work and the flu. They took xrays and gave me two medicines pain pills and muscle relaxer and they sent me to do a not MRI but something else can not remember what it is called but they use the MRI machine. The attendant wanted to know if I had been in a wreak. I have to go back for some blood work in the morning at 7:30 and they said that they would let Dr. Stedman know the results.

BOOTSIE ~ Well, you have been in a wreck of sorts -- falling backwards out a door where there are no stairs was definitely an accident ... ... Poor Bootsie ... I would shop around and get at least three quotes from other health insurance providers. Seems companies are using whatever excuse they can these days to charge us more money for everything; and weight is a very handy one, isn't it?

Maybe it's time for the government to set some stringent guidelines for the health insurance industry in your country. Our government has had to do that with the car insurance here as they just keep putting it up by hundreds of dollars each year without offering anything to the customer for the increases (even to those of us who have never made any claims).

^PRAYERS^ continue for you and yours ...

PRAYER REQUEST PLEASE ~ for an old neighbour of ours; we ran into her on the main street crying her eyes out -- poor dear. Her father suddenly fell sick yesterday and died last night; and this family really relied on him for everything. They don't know what he died from so an autopsy will be done today (and once again, the doctors are suspecting an infection or virus of some kind, but the results are not in yet).

They really could use some prayers: the Matthews family, wife Frances, and all the kids & grandkids that were living with them ... that GOD will comfort them and help them all find their way (jobs & finances & how to keep their home, etc). THANKS VERY MUCH ...

Please pray for my granddaughter today, it is the day of her great adventure, flying for the first time, and seeing new country, new way of living, it is like she is going into another world she said, She said Nanny I am excited but at the same time some what scared. She knows about the bears so she is going to watch that, thank you so much Dee, might of saved her life. For she just loves animals. She raises animals for 4-H and this year she had a pig and she trained that pig to lay down and sit up and stand up on command. It just breaks her heart though everytime she has to sell the animals in the sale and they go to market. Sometimes my daughter thinks I over react but when it comes to my Grandchildren, yeah I might just do that, can't help it.

Bootsie-
Prayers sent for your granddaughter.
I'm sure it'll be a wonderful experience for her. She could have picked a better year though- this has been a VERY rainy year (rained every day for the last 2-1/2 months). Where in Alaska is she going?

I don't really know Dee but she said Alaska is like the top of the world to her , since she lives in Texas.

The nurse just called and said my doctor wants me to come in and discuss the Cat scan he had done on me , so I guess they found something ,other wise she would of told me everything is alright. I have an appointment Monday Morning at 10 AM.

Hello,

I am writing to request a prayer for my husband, and for me. My husband is in the process of getting on the kidney tranpslant ( and eventual pancrease) list. He is on dialysis. During all the testing they do to see if a person's healthy enough for the surgery, they found that my husband needs a triple bypass before he can consider transplant. IN fact, if he keeps going as he is, he'll be dead with in about two years.. This is no fault of his own, in terms of diet and exercise, but is a hereditary thing. We found this out on Thursday during an angiogram. He will be having it in the next two or three weeks.

It's scary, knowing that there's that slight chance he may not make it out of surgery alive. Although I know he is saved through Christ, I am not ready to let him go.
I am praying for strength to deal with all this, for God to bless the doctors and surgeons and to speed my husband's recovery.

thanks.

OPTICALGODDESS ~ ^Prayers^ going up for your husband, ERIK, plus the surgeons & doctors who are caring for him at Northwestern Hospital; and for you, during this very scary time. Please keep us informed, so that we can pray for Erik through his surgeries too, OK?

We are also praying for a couple down the street whose wife just donated a kidney to her DH in Toronto recently; hope to hear good news soon (nothing bad yet). His Dad was so worried that he has been going to the country chopping wood every day to keep his mind off things; poor dear. We're praying for the whole family ...
