Time to kick this one in gear again...we had fallen off the current threads page.

Up-Date on my sister ~ She has been finished with her radiation now for several weeks. She did get burned pretty darn bad but is recovering for that. She has been coming to church and Angie's yoga classes on a regular basis and is quite active daily. Angie and I caught up with her at a local street fair last Sunday.

Prayers for all. Gary it is so wonderful the strength God has given your sister and how she is becoming more involved in your lives.

Thank you BOOTSIE...hugs...My sister, brothers (one passed) and I have always been very close...I'm not saying we have never had "issues"...wink...but none that ever lasted very long. My sister has come back to church on a regular basis after being gone for about 10 years but we have always been close.

Please pray for my pastor Erik. I opened my email this morning to find a vicious attack on this man of God. Pray for strength and wisdom as he walks through this. I don't know if the sender sent the same email to him or if this attack is behind his back.

Praying for all of the prayer requests that God will provide healing.

Just wanted to share with all our prayer partners out there some good news today; and say THANKS to the LORD for hearing and answering all our prayers ...


for GRACE S. -- her recent tests say that she has NO CANCER in her body right now ... praise GOD!

for TOM S. -- cancer seems to be dormant; has not spread; he had a bad flu or infection or pneumonia recently (doctors not sure which), but the Lord has healed him of that too. Praying that he has 100% good health from this day forward!!!

for Wendy & Steve -- their business B & B is booked up for the summer and all is going well there; we're praying that Wendy's retirement pension comes through for her real soon! My DAD has been working hard fixing some things up for them, and he fell off a ladder blackening 2 toes. He is a very good carpenter, but he overdoesit sometimes ... hmmm, seems to run in the family!

for RPS -- knee is healing up better each day; he's coming home in the middle of June, and they have already found him a lovely apartment with fair rent! PTL, PTL, PTL!!! He is so happy and so are we ... and ~ even more importantly, may the LORD continue the good work He has begun in R's life!

for TOM M. -- Tom is feeling better at this time; and I see him out and about driving in their car and going to the docks as he used to; and they have found a nice & affordable house in the country where they can have peace & quiet; and Denise sounds much happier too ... PTL! PS ~ we visited them today and Tom is ancy to go on some fly-in fishing trips real soon; he looks and sounds very good, and Denise is very happy with their new place.

for my DH -- we are feeling better today (not so much congestion). We are praying that our immune systems will be strong enuff to rid our bodies of this virus and congestion for good. We claim this healing ...

Thank you Lord for your Mercy & complete Restoration of our health according to your promises in Jeremiah 30:17, and Malachi 4:2, and Psalm 30:2 ... Amen.

They just called and said they were taking my brother to the hospital, his heart rate is racing and then it is real slow been having swelling in his legs.

PS ~ discovered today that I somehow got a small scrape on my lower left calf recently; but there is a scab on it. Would appreciate prayer(s) that it heals up quickly and well ... thanks so much.

THANKS, GARY ~ appreciate that very much ... the skin on my calves is so thin and delicate; but it is getting better as I get healthier. My left calf is the one I fractured and the skin changed when it had the blood clot from the fracture. We are seeing much improvement on the right calf; looking forward to the day, it is totally normal again ...

Thanks all for the prayers for my brother they are keeping him one more week,only, his friend, says. He is being contrary and not taking his medicines. He got a call from our cuz and that cheered him up.

I feel so sorry for the nurses, I know he being just an old billy goat to them, and all they are trying to do is help him.

Update My Dad's (Dick) Surgery is on May 18th. Prayer for surgery to go well, and for good recovery. The are removing a tumor and part of the kidney. Sounds like a long and complicated surgery. They have to cut away part of the rib to get to the tumor and kidney. My Aunt Pat is doing better.
