GARY ~ prayers going up for ANNIE that her tests will go well with good results for her too!

MICHELLE ~ glad you got that doc visit for such a reasonable price; and that they are giving you aggressive care for that lump too. Sending up prayers for your health, your upcoming tests, and qualifying for Medicaid too!

EVE ~ Hey, I am just crazy enuff to try that dye; they might credit you for trying though ... BUT, I would try BARGOO's idea of watering the grass daily to encourage it to grow (and keep that doggie out of there; take him for a walk instead). Glad you are getting some help from friends too ...

BTW, we went to our doctor's appointments too; DH has to have a bunch of tests and scans to check to see what is causing his memory problem. I will have to wait for them to set up the appt for another exam and colonoscopy (which thankfully, they will do at the same time); but basically, he just asked me the same questions the other doctor did. I am feeling much better, so that is a good sign, I think. Thanks for your prayers.

And, MORE GOOD NEWS ~ PTL -- finally got that issues with my credit card sorted out; well, 99% anyways. After four months, they finally credited my account for the items we never received, but they did charge me some interest or a fee, which DH was about, but I am just glad it is over and I will not be using that card for orders anymore. It will be COD from now on for me ...

Praying for all, when will they have the test results Gary? Sorry have not been on here for a while but I fell out my back door!
I was going to go check and see if the water was running over and I forgot there was no big steps at the back door just some temperary ones I put there, till the guys got the under pending back up. I fell out the back door about a 5 foot drop ,somehow on my back on some pipes and piece of wood,my head in my pepper bushes. Everything went black but I reached in my pocket and got my phone and felt 3 buttons down which is 3 and that is David and then felt where talk is, got a recording, don't know how long it was before he got it. I could not get up for the life of me and then I started getting my sight back and seen the pepper bushes over my head, but still could not raise up then I heard david. He says got any broken bones? I said i don't know help me sit up. He got me sitted up then he was going to help me up but I could not get up like that . I said I have to turn over and get up so I did and he asked where's your glasses , did not relize they were missing, but they were on the other side of the pepper bushes. Lucky he did not step on them.
I am sorta real sore from half of my head on down but still kicking just not very high. A man put my steps back today.

Bootsie, prayers sent up for you

The Fidelis Care/Medicaid guy just left and he seemed pretty confident that I would be getting the insurance so I am relieved about that. Thanks for the prayers ♥

BOOTSIE ~ oh, that reminds me of something that happened to me too! When DH and I were first together, he was fixing things up around my house; we had no basement, just a crawl-space and the access was under the stairs (to the second-story), but it was difficult to get in and out of ... so DH decided to make a bigger entrance with a hinged door. The bottom steps would then just lift out and we'd open the door and voila!

It was Thanksgiving Day and we were going to my brother's for dinner, so I decided to go upstairs and have a shower before we went. So up I go; and all of a sudden, I fell through the floor; what a fright I got ... the only thing stopping me was that I put my hands down on the crossbeams to stop myself from falling all the way in. Here I was dangling there and I couldn't get out, so I'm half laughing and calling my DH ... "help me, help me, help me".

Well, he came running and gasped. I had asked him to cover the hole so I could go upstairs and becuz it was making the house cold, but he thought he would be finished soon, so he just put a piece of carpet over the hole. I thought he had put a piece of board and carpet so I could walk on it. Of course he felt terrible and very guilty about it and realized what a mistake he had made then.

THANK GOD LITERALLY, as I was so lucky that I didn't get hurt more than some bruises on my legs and a two sprained thumbs. We laugh about it now, of course; but I sure haven't forgot about it, and neither has DH.

Sending up some prayers for you for a quick healing -- you know, you remind me of me. My mother used to call me "CALAMITY JANE" ...

I would like to join your "Prayer Warriors" group. I am a Christian that prays several times a day and I work in a faith-friendly environment so can even pray at work. In fact, it's encouraged.

I could use your prayers for my health, as I am struggling with my weight, my thyroid, my acid reflux and right now I've got a sinus infection. I'd appreciate any prayers for healing.

I will look at the recent posts and offer prayers, and will check in daily.

Thanks, and God bless.

Hello everyone! I hope your weeks are going well.

Onederchic- Praying for your surgery and that you will qualify for this insurance!

Bootsie- Thank God that you weren't seriously hurt! Praying for a quick recovery.

eagleriver- Praying for your health! And

rosebud- Praying for your DH!

EZ- Praying for your sister!

I will be going to the surgery clinic on the 18th to get some moles removed. I've had them all my life, and the doc says they are benign. They just get in the way and with my weight loss I am looking to change some things about my body while I continue to shrink. I am very nervous though, the fear of needles and stitches and them CUTTING has kept me from doing this for years...but I figure it's time to put on my big girl panties and suck it up. lol

's to all

First, I would appreciate prayers for a friend of mine. Her hubby is 42 and was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Never smoked. worked as an accountant. In both lungs, spine, and brain. Please pray for them.

Secondly, if you have time, pray for me. I am battling thyroid issues and regulation hormones and battling weight. I'm stuck at my weight for some time now. Need to get this off. I watch what I eat for the most part, and work out 6 days a week. Something has to give.

You are in my prayers, too. Thank you!

DEE ~ glad you joined us here; sounds like we have another prayer warrior for sure -- that's great! Will definitely send up some prayers for your health. Re: acid reflux -- I used to have that and it has pretty much gone away now; I elevate myself with lots of pillows when I sleep (I have four which makes my DH laugh) and that really helped a lot. Also since I lost some weight and changed what I eat, probably made a big difference too.

URSULA ~ glad to pray for your friend's DH & his family; and for you & your health issues as well. Have you tried changing things up a bit with your food intake (cycling your calories between, say 1600-1800 calories). Do you lift weights? That can really help speed up your metabolism around the clock (a lot of people don't know this); hand-weights work fine for this too.

BOOTSIE ~ I just wanted to let you know that I couldn't help but chuckle a bit when I read that first line -- "I fell out my back door!" We are sooo very glad that you are OK!!!

GOOD NEWS REPORT ~ Thanks for all your prayers for our BIL, TOM M. (who you have been praying for about the aneurysm below his heart) -- who has quit smoking for 11 weeks. He is on a 12-week program with a new pill (that starts with a "C") and he said it really helped him this time (as he has tried before). Our SIL dropped by today to tell us how much better he is feeling since he quit -- his skin color has returned, plus he can walk better, and he has stopped all the hacking and coughing he used to do in the AM -- PTL!

We pray that once the pills are done that he will be able to keep off the ciggies for good this time, esp since quitting has helped him so much. They will be going down to a city hospital to see his heart specialist and visit family, the week of August 11th; and I know they'd appreciate your prayers for this trip too ... many thanks!

She is recovery very well from her mastectomy at the moment. She will be walking in a cancer relay with me this week-end...well maybe not WITH ME!...lol...I am walking the 2am to 3am shift...

He is with us always!

I'm loving the encouragement on this board! And I'm remembering all of these requests in my prayers!

I'm asking for prayer for my little family. My husband applied for a new job 2 weeks ago and the owner of the company was responsive at first. The whole situation appears very God-ordained, but my husband hasn't been asked for an interview yet.

So, if you could please pray that he gets an interview and then the job, that would be wonderful!!! Thanks!

Ursula745- Prayers sent for your friend and her husband, and for your health.

JustWant2BHealthy- thanks for the welcome! I sent a prayer for your BIL, that he might be able to remain a non-smoker and be with his family for a good long while.

Hickory0305- Prayers sent for your husband and the job he's hoping for.

May the Lord bless you all.
